Extrem sauber, gute Klimaanlage und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Besonders Mido hat alles für uns möglich gemacht und auch Ausflüge für uns organisiert. Sehr praktisch ist das angeschlossene Restaurant, mit sehr leckerem Essen. Wenn wir erneut nach Tunis kommen, würden wir wieder dort wohnen. Der Poll ist ein Traum.

The rooms were clean. The restaurant next door was convenient as well as the closeness to the village center.

There was no soap or shampoo in the shower. I wrote and thankfully they placed shampoo on outside our doors but there should have been soap in the shower, not just at the sink. Also, I'm not sure why they didn't tell us to look for the staff at the I is restaurant next door. We arrived at the exact time informed the hotel that we were going to arrive and there was nobody. The "office" nearby was empty and very sorry looking. Eventually someone came around and found us and led us to our rooms. We had already looked for people all over the hotel.

Die Suite mit Balkon war sehr schön, mit romantischen, wenn auch eher kleinen Kuppel-Zimmern. Das Badezimmer war sehr geräumig, ebenfalls mit schönen hohen Decken. Der kleine Garten mit Pool war sehr gepflegt und schön gestaltet.

WLAN-Internetverbindung hat während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht funktioniert trotz Meldung bei der Reception. Verständigung mit der Receptionistin war aufgrund mangelnder Englischkenntnisse schwierig und funktionierte nur über Google Translate. Die Verpflegung im Restaurant war je nach Gericht von unterschiedlicher Qualität.

Ausstattung Küche nur für 2 statt für 4 ausgelegt, z.B. nur 2 Teller und Gläser, keinerlei Besteck, keine 2 Platten zum Kochen, Feuerholz nur auf Nachfrage, Büro so gut wie nicht besetzt, man musste das Personal immer im Restaurant oder wo anders suchen gehen - Hinterlegen einer Telefonnummer im Fenster des Büros wäre einfach gewesen, Pool war einen ganzen Nachmittag mit Schläuchen voll, die offensichtlich vergessen wurden, Müll wurde nicht geleert, ausreichend Licht über Esstisch und auf dem Balkon wünschenswert, ebenso wie gut funktionierendes WLAN

No había agua caliente, la tapa de la taza del váter estaba rota, el aparato de aire-calefaccion no funcionaba. Mala conexión WiFi desde la habitación.

Magnifique endroit ! Il faut savoir que l’établissement est relié au restaurant ibis et à un atelier de poterie. L’hôtel et les chambres sont superbes. Le restaurant IBIS est génial. L’équipe est très gentille et très bienveillante et ils peuvent vous organiser de superbes visites dans le Fayoum. Et le patron (qui est aussi potier) Mahmoud est aussi très gentil et accueillant ! On se sent comme a la maison (mais en plus paisible). Un grand merci à toute l’équipe de l’hôtel et du restaurant ! Nous avons passé un super moment dans cet établissement et nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

Le seul tout petit bémol (si vraiment il faut en trouver un) c’est que l’eau prend parfois du temps à arriver dans la douche.

Clean, quiet and very comfortable rooms. I liked the decor from the pottery shop being used throughout, and the patio and pool were very pleasant and relaxing areas. Staff were friendly and helpful!

Wifi didn’t reach my room, no hot water for my shower

Même si les employés de l’hôtel travaillent dans le restaurant attenant (le délicieux Ibis), ils n’en restent pas moins archi sympathiques et avenants. Les repas sont délicieux, l’équipe une joie et la petite boutique de poterie magnifique. La vue sur le lac est un peu bruyante car il y a la route, mais on s’y fait. La chambre est très confortable et jolie avec un éclairage agréable. On s’y sent bien. Je n’ai pas testé la piscine en cette saison.

Les aléas de la douche. Mais beaucoup mieux que les autres hôtels où je suis allée en Égypte.

We enjoyed the artfulness of our room, the view of the lake, the clean, comfortable beds and the hot shower. We also had a portable heater in our room which was wonderful. The staff at Ibis Restaurant were very helpful. We were able to get ice from them and enjoyed fresh lemon mint juice there.

It was surprisingly noisy from the road at night, breakfast was not included in the price and we had to ask for water to be replenished and trash to be emptied; once we asked they were very responsive.

This is a great place to stay in Tunis Village. Fantastic location, very easy to get to from Cairo and perfect for accessing everything the village has to offer. Right next door to the best restaurant in town (Ibis) and some of the best views of the lake. Would definitely recommend!

The food at the restaurant, and the staff, is what made the stay so pleasant. In addition to the nice view. The room at the top was quite original too. Proximity to the village where we walked and bought a locally made pottery plate.

On arrival, there is no real reception; and the guy there did not speak English, so we wondered if we were at the right place.

The rooms are very well built and maintained. There is a great view of the lake, and it has a really nice bathroom. Beds are very comfy.

Property was immaculately kept. I loved the artistry of the design, the colour combinations and mix of materials was very tasteful and unique. Wonderful view of the lake.

Pool is not heated

The logde is newly built and have a pool with a nice garden. The room was clean and well equipped and the restaurant (Ibis) had great staff and good food with reasonable prices. We booked a half-day safari to the desert through the owner and he was very helpful during the whole stay.

This beautiful character property is set in a gorgeous town with pottery shops and donkeys and all the rustic charm you would expect. Day trips to the desert for sand boarding and dune safari’s are easy to arrange from here. The food at the attached Ibis cookery school restaurant was the best we experienced in Egypt, oh did. Mention breakfast unbelievably good! The honey I don’t think i can describe it to do it justice! A truly magical and relaxing spot. The host was extremely helpful and made us a lovely fire to sit out by in the evening. I must also mention the bed was European design and VERY comfy!

Hoopoe Lodge was a great facility. I stayed in a suite with my husband and we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and excellent condition of the furniture. There was even a kitchenette :)) The terrace is magnificent with a serene and a beautiful view of the Qarun Lake. The air was so fresh and clean. It is a perfect spot for recharging one's energy away from the din of the city! The hotel staff are also very responsive via Whatsapp.

It would have been nice if the facility provided access to Wifi. Also, it was a little bit cold at night, we could have used some heating.

Newly built in a great location overlooking lake Karoun and next door to a fine restaurant ( Ibis). Friendly and responsive staff. Two good size master bedrooms with a living room which has two sofas, wood burning fireplace, refrigerator, sink and small dining table .

The staff are so friendly and attentive and responded so fast when we had any questions or requests. The hotel is quiet, overlooking the lake and agricultural land and right next to an amazing restaurant (Ibis) and surrounded by pottery shops which are walking distance from there. There is a swimming pool with a nice seating area which is relaxing especially for a sunny hot day. The room was clean and spacious. There is shaded parking there.
