I loved the beautiful, luch, green surroundings. Just what I needed after city stays. Lovely to hear roosters , chucked, crickets, birdsongs .The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing;. Ideal for doing my morning yoga outside on the balcony. Many thanks to ISavet and his family for a wonderful stay.

Room a bit dark for me. It would have been nice to have access to a fridge for my fruits.

Si vous hésitez à y aller, n’hésitez pas longtemps. Ce petit havre de paix perdu au milieu d’un verger est idéal pour s’imprégner de la vie locale cambodgienne. La gentillesse de l'hôte, le tuk tuk qui vient vous chercher et peut vous faire faire des visites.

Echt van alle gemakken voorzien, met een fijn bed, ventilators en muskieten net waardoor we echt geen airco hebben gemist, prima badkamer, privacy op ons privé terrasje, lekker ontbijt en heerlijk rustig aan de rand van de stad en toch niet ver van bezienswaardigheden. Ook zijn er genoeg winkeltjes en eettentjes in de buurt. Wij twijfelden vooraf eerlijk gezegd even of we de luxe hotels niet zouden missen maar dit verblijf is heel erg aan te raden.

We had a wonderful stay at Savet Family in Battambang! ❤️ The family is incredibly warm, kind and welcoming, and we immediately felt at home. We also did a lovely bike tour with Savet and enjoyed a fun cooking class — both were fantastic ways to discover the local culture and food. A truly authentic and memorable experience. We would definitely recommend staying here! 🇰🇭

De homestay is sfeervol en de bungalow heeft alle comfort : uitstekend bed, ventilators, muskietennet, nette badkamer. Het is gelegen in een mooie tuin. Savet is de perfecte host. Heel behulpzaam. Hij zorgde voor vervoer naar een lokaal restaurantje en naar de bamboo train. Ook raadde hij ons de chauffeur "Sowat" aan die ons verder door tot Chi Path bracht.

Niets. Doordat de bungalow in hout is, hoor je 's nachts wel alle omgevings- en vooral dierengeluiden. Oordopjes aan te raden. Maar voor ons maakte dit de beleving nog unieker.

The homestay was brilliant. We had a family cabin with two large beds, bathroom, deck with seating and hammocks set in a beautiful garden. The room was perfect for us and we loved the coconut shell fittings! We were very happy chilling in the hammocks or sat on the deck with a cold beer or water brought to us in a cold box so we could help ourselves. Savet could not have been more helpful. We all enjoyed cooking with him and his wife making three delicious dishes on the first night. The next day we went on a cycling tour with Savet around the village and learnt loads about village life and nature. Savet speaks perfect English! He gave us a lift into the city so we could explore by ourselves and have lunch. In the afternoon Savet had arranged for us to go by tuk tuk to the bamboo train and Phnom Sampov - killing cave and bat cave (millions of bats flying at dusk). An amazing experience. This homestay is a real treasure and our stay there was a highlight of our holiday.

Vi havde to meget skønne nætter hos Savet og hans familie! Det må klart være den bedste måde at opleve området på: hos en familie, der deler ud af al deres viden om stedet, kulturen osv., og som arrangerer gode ture. Vi var på en god cykeltur i området med Savet, og hans rare nabo tog os med ud til Flagermusegrotten: også en dejlig oplevelse. Den første aften lavede vi mad sammen med Savet og hans kone Anna, og højdepunktet var at spise sammen med hele familien, heriblandt deres to søde drenge. Lige omkring homestayet bor mange af Savets familiemedlemmer, og det var skønt at møde dem alle. Vi anbefaler på det højeste et ophold her!

This was an amazing experience. The huts were so lovely. The little garden area and everything about it was perfect. We had a cookery experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Shopping in the local market, picking ingredients from the garden and making 3 traditional Khmer dishes. So brilliant !

We really enjoy getting involved with the locals after doing in Vietnam. Savet was excellent constantly asking if there was anything he could for us.

We were looking for a local experienced and staying with Savet and his family did not disappoint. Savet was very welcoming and went over and above to meet our needs and expectations. Savet is very kind and passionate about his beautiful country. He would share traditional food with us and it was so interesting listening to stories about his life. My highlight was the easy paced bike road through the village where we got to visit a local school. Thank you Savet, we loved our stay at your Family Homestay. Highly recommend.

This is such a wonderful homestay. Savet and his family are really welcoming and make you eggs for breakfast everyday, which is so kind. The room is spacious with a big bed and storage. The bathroom is a good size too. Although there is no Aircon, there are several fans which do a good job. The homestay is on a lovely plot of land with plants and flowers. They offer a free pick up service and Savet arranged for the bus company to pick us up before our onward journey. The outside space is also lovely for relaxing, but make sure to bring your mosquito spray.

Just a note that the homestay is about a 15 minute tuktuk journey from the main town. It's not a problem if you're prepared, but it just means it's slightly harder to go back and forth. HOWEVER, it does mean it's quiet at night, which is great.

The bungalows we booked were lovely and had everything we needed, our hosts were amazing and organised transport onward to our next city as well as during our stay. Savet was very organised and communicative and nothing was too much trouble. We had a very interesting tour while we stayed in Battambang organised by Savet and his family were very kind and cooked for us. Would definitely recommend staying here and it was nice being a bit away from the city.

Unglaublich freundliche Familie. Savet hilft bei allem organisatorischen Angelegenheiten und man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl. Zusätzlich ein sehr gutes Frühstück und eine liebevoll gestaltete Hütte. Obwohl es keine Klimaanlage gab war es dank der drei Ventilatoren in der Nacht trotzdem angenehm.

Savet and family home stay was amazing they embrace you as family for the time you are there. They are attentive to your needs. Location is slightly out of the city but very easy to get to on tuk tuk that you can book via gran or family can help. Savet also arranges pick up, he offers a village tour and we were lucky with other guests to join his family new year celebrations which was so much fun and they all embraced so so warmly. While lack of AC may put you off it was much cooler than I expected and the three fans in the room does a good job and sitting by balcony is cool and there are always cold drinks available. Bamboo train ride is just walking distance but you can also take a tuk tuk to much futher one.

Très bel accueil.

Tout! Savet et sa famille sont absolument adorables. Le logement est super mignon, spacieux et propre. Le petit dej impeccable. Savet nous a aidé pour réserver nos bus à l'arrivée et au départ de son logement et a tout arrangé pour qu'on vienne nous chercher et qu'on nous ramène. Royal. Aussi nous voulions faire un cours de cuisine et il nous a proposé de le faire avec sa femme, encore mieux ! Il nous a emmené au marché local, on a cueilli des plantes dans son jardin pour cuisiner 3 plats typiques différents, c'était un super moment avec Savet et sa femme on a adoré !! Il nous a aussi organisé un tour de tuktuk comme on voulait le faire. On a aussi pu discuter avec Savet qui nous a beaucoup appris de la culture Cambodgienne. Si vous voulez une expérience authentique et dans un esprit familial, un peu "comme un à la maison" allez-y les yeux fermés !

My friend and I stayed at Savet Family for 3 nights, and it was simply one of my best experiences in Cambodia! The welcome was incredibly warm, we immediately felt at home. Savet is a very caring and generous person: he spent a whole day showing us his world, his village, and the local way of life, a truly authentic experience! On the second day, we were also lucky to have a French-speaking guide, which made the experience even more enriching and enjoyable. He also helped us a lot in organizing our activities, giving great advice and arranging tuk-tuks for us, which made our stay really easy. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a genuine, authentic experience full of meaningful encounters!

Savet is an excellent host - friendly, generous and welcoming. The accommodation was lovely and authentic, with clean and ample facilities. We joined a cycling tour run by Savet which was excellent, and the breakfast each morning was amazing! He is very responsive and happy to help.

De kamer en de aansluitende badkamer was zeer proper en alles functioneerde prima. Je logeert er in een authentieke Khmer omgeving bij een zeer vriendelijke familie die steeds voor je klaar staat. Savet, de verhuurder die vloeiend Engels spreekt, heeft ons zeer hartelijk ontvangen en ons ook nog gegidst bij een mooie fietstoer vlakbij, waardoor we een realistische kijk kregen op de levensstijl van menige dorpelingen. Als je graag wat dichter bij de echt Khmer wil vertoeven, is dit adres een echt pareltje, een grote aanrader om er enkele nachten te verblijven. Vanuit deze accommodaties ben je met de tuktuk op een kwartiertje in het hart van het aanpalend gezellig stadje. Eén tip: voorzie oordoppen, want de natuurgeluiden zijn dichtbij, ook ‘s nachts.

Das Zimmer war einfach aber absolut ausreichend, das Bad ist top. Schöne gemütliche Terrasse. Der Betreiber Savet hat uns den Transfer von Siem Reap nach Battambang im Vorweg gebucht. Der Transport vom Busterminal in Battambang zur Unterkunft war kostenfrei. Auch den Weitertransfer nach Koh Rong hat er uns kostengünstig organisiert. Savet organisiert auf Wunsch auch einen Tuktuk Fahrer für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir waren mit unserem Tuktukfahrer Sokha sehr zufrieden und der Preis von 15,00 USD für einen Halbtagesausflug war absolut in Ordnung. Einmal pro Tag ist ein Transfer nach Battambang kostenfrei (Fahrtzeit ca. 10 Min.). Zurück in die Unterkunft geht am besten über Grab für ca. 2,00 USD.

Das im Zimmerpreis enthaltenen Frühstück ist zwar okay, aber nicht sehr üppig und es gibt lediglich die Auswahl zwischen Omelett und Spiegeleiern und das Obst ist ebenfalls etwas wenig für 2 Personen. Den Kaffee/Tee muss man sich selbst zubereiten. Das Frühstück kam an beiden Tagen 15-20 Minuten später als am Vorabend besprochen. In der Unterkunft selbst gibt es keine Restaurant. Wir haben in der näheren Umgebung kein Restaurant gesehen und sind nach Battambang zum Abendessen gefahren. Savet ist grundsätzlich ein netter Kerl, wir fanden ihn allerdings etwas planlos und zweitweise überfordert. Wir haben auch keine besonders tollen Tipps von ihm bekommen, eher hat er unsere Wünsche und Vorstellungen in Frage gestellt, was wir etwas merkwürdig fanden. Wir haben es auch eher als Guesthouse und nicht als Homestay empfunden.

Le logement est très beau, confortable, bien fleurie et le personnel est à votre écoute. Ils nous ont même proposé d'attendre dans un bungalow car on devait attendre le sleeping bus.

C'est un peu loin du centre mais Grab est là pour vous emmener ou livrer 😉

Everything was amazing. Very relaxing hearing the nature sounds at night. Loved our local breakfast every morning! (Absolutely delicious)! Tours are wonderful too. Recommend without hesitation - 10/10!

L’atenciò, el manteniment, la musica del vei que començava cada dia a les 5 am (no era cap funeral o acte religios)… ens agrada molt estar a home stays amb cabanyes pero definivamet queda molt lluny de tots els altres que varem estar en termes d’atenció, ambient, entorn, manteniment…

Authenticité assurée. Exceptionnel. En plus, si vous y ajoutez la gentillesse de la famille Savet qui se coupe en quatre. Le paradis!

Vær opmærksom på at dette sted kræver transport til nærmest alt, men hvis man gerne vil have fred og ro, er det ideelt. Stedet har også en tuktuk, så det er rimelig nemt at blive kørt omkring.

Savat and his family are wonderful hosts, so kind and attentive and they have built a beautiful homestay. A little out of town but his friend is always on hand to run you into town or to a local restaurant for dinner. Savat's tour of his local village is well worth doing - he is very knowledgeable about local life, clearly loves his people and, as a former English teacher, his English is impeccable. You really feel immersed in rural Cambodian life here.

Les petits bungalows dans la nature. C'est simple mais confortable et très propre. Accueil au top de la part de Vuth qui se met en 4 pour ses clients. Il parle parfaitement anglais. Il a organisé tous nos transports pour venir de Siem Reap à Battambang, puis pour quitter Battambang jusqu'à Kep. Bon petit déjeuner avec des fruits frais. Je recommande le circuit découverte des villages et de la campagne avec lui : il vous donnera plein d'explications sur la vie rurale au Cambodge. Le homestay est un peu excentré mais avec un tuktuk on est vite au centre ville. Je recommande à 100% de séjourner chez Saveth family (sa famille ne parle pas anglais, mais ils sont adorables).

Amazing property. I met Savet and his wife Anna and both were the most loveliest people. Savet is very welcoming and we had a conversation about how he got to run this homestay. He even drove me himself to the bus station when I needed to leave to Kampot. This place felt very cozy, Savet’s family and neighbors were always around and said hi. Just the most sweetest people ever!! Great amenities also, and very peaceful!

Un hébergement hors des sentiers battus. Savet est un hôte plein d'humour et charmant. Il nous a organisé une balade à vélo dans la campagne alentour, nous a parlé de la culture cambodgienne. Un de ses amis qui parle bien français nous a emmenés au bamboo train et nous a fait une visite guidée de la ville. Bref un homestay très agréable que nous recommandons.

Abbiamo vissuto una bellissima esperienza da Savet, perché abbiamo potuto vivere un pezzo di vera vita rurale cambogiana, insieme ad una famiglia, e in modo autentico. La Capanna di Savet non è in centro a Battambang, ma è poco fuori dalla città ed è immersa nel verde. Savet ci ha organizzato un tour in touk touk per andare al Bamboo Train e alla Bat Cave. Inoltre, abbiamo gustato una buonissima cena preparata dalla moglie Anna, il tipico Amok, riso e verdure, condividendolo con una coppia di altre ospiti. Ottima cena ed esperienza! Al mattino, dopo colazione abbiamo fatto il bike tour con Savet e la sua famiglia, Anna e i figli , ed è stato davvero interessante e piacevole. Grazie di cuore!

Esperienza immersiva nella campagna cambogiana. Savet e la sua famiglia sono stati disponibili in tutto e molto carini. Bello anche il tour da loro proposto. La struttura non è vicinissima al centro città ma Savet con il suo Tuc Tuc ci ha sempre accompagnato senza chiedere nulla, così come ci è venuto a prendere e poi portato alla stazione dei bus!

L'emplacement est assez calme les lieux sont très bien entretenus bon point on a l'eau chaude les gens sont convivial honnêtement l'un des meilleurs hôtels à ce jour que j'ai fait au Cambodge ça reste rustique mais ça a son charme, de plus le gérant un ami qui parle français et cette grandement 👍

Le seul point négatif c'est qu'il y a pas la clim sinon il y a des ventilateurs au plafond des ventilateurs puissants c'est le seul point négatif que je pourrais donner c'est qu'il y a pas de clim sinon tout le reste est ok pour le prix rien à redire.

Enmedio de naturaleza, la familia que lo gestiona es maravillosa. A pesar de estar apartado de la ciudad, repetiria. Todo facilidades de Savet en transporte y guía. La cabaña es bàsica pero còmoda. He desayunado con fruta , café y tortilla que acostumbra en Cambodia a llevar picadillo de cebollita y pimiento. Muy rica.

Hay que asumir que los animalitos te van a despertar pronto. Es lo que tiene el mundo rural.

If a stay in an authentic village, away from the bustle of the city with a friendly family who clearly love their country & enjoy their guests, then this is the place to be. Savet & his wife Anna were so kind & friendly & the extensive village tour was exceptional. We learnt so much about village life & also went to the old family home to experience what life was like in days gone by. The celebrated bamboo train & bat cave trip should not be missed either. The accommodation is clean, cosy & fun & the fans keep the room super comfortable overnight. Having the delicious breakfast out on the deck was a lovely start to the day. Savet's restaurant suggestions were unfailingly superb & we were both taken in & collected by tuk tuk, which was really appreciated. The lush garden is a great setting for the bamboo accommodation & Savet has plans to make the area even better. Great value & even better experience. The stay was definitely one the highlights of our 3 week stay in Cambodia & highly recommended.

Home stay au calme complet où l'accueil familial est de mise. Bons conseils, guide en français pour une excursion dans le coin. Très bonne cuisine locale.

Assez loin du centre de Battambang, 8kms >> impossible d'y aller par sois-même. Tuk-tuk plus cher qu'ailleurs

De prachtige omgeving, de persoonlijke accenten in de bungalow (tandenborstels voorzien door de gastheer, een handgemaakte kokosnoot als douche en leeslamp), de enorme gastvrijheid en warme ontvangst, een heerlijk ontbijt, een prachtige fietstocht met dit superlief gezin in de rijstvelden en de Sunset, een heerlijk bed, zeer proper, smaakvol ingericht met bamboehout, aan elk detail was gedacht. Savet en zijn een lieve vrouw Anna hebben van elke bamboe bungalow een heuse warme thuis gemaakt ❤️ Als kers op de taart organiseerde hij ook nog de tours naar alle bezienswaardigheden in en rond Battangbam. Bravo!!

Stare da Savet è stata un’esperienza davvero speciale. La struttura è accogliente con un’atmosfera magica che ti avvolge fin dal primo momento. Savet e la sua famiglia sono stati super gentili e disponibili, facendoci sentire sempre come a casa. Grazie a loro abbiamo potuto vivere anche delle esperienze realmente autentiche sperimentando i sapori locali, la campagna e le tradizioni , che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno unico e indimenticabile.

Savet and his family were extremely welcoming and kind. The place is cosy and calm, immersed in the sounds of nature and local traditions and a mere 10mins tuktuk ride from the city center.

Der Bungalow war einfach aber vollkommen ausreichend eingerichtet. Auf der Terrasse lässt es sich schön sitzen und der Garten ist super schön angelegt. Die Familie ist super nett, der herzlich und stehen bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung.

Falls man einen leichten Schlaf hat unbedingt Ohropax mitnehmen. Ich bin Nachts wegen den Schallsignalen von einem vorbeifahrenden Zug wach geworden. Mit Ohropax hört man das aber nicht mehr :)

My friend and I had an absolutely lovely stay with Savet and his family! He also took us on a tour of his village by bicycle and where we got to see his childhood home and learn about village industries such as rice farming and rice wine brewing, before driving us to the bamboo train (he went out of his way to take us to the longer track so that we could have the full experience) He also arranged for his neighbor to take us on a Tuk Tuk to see the killing caves and Bat Cave. In the evening his family prepared a delicious spread of Khmer foods for us to try and Mr. Savet stayed around after the meal to chat with us and answer our questions about local life. On top of all this, the cabins he offers are beautiful and very comfortable, with attached suite-style bathrooms. Although there is not A/C, the room was perfectly cool when using the two fans provided as the temperature drops quite a bit in the evening (we visited in August) and we slept very well both nights of our stay. Highly recommend that anyone traveling through Battambang stop there to stay with Savet and family!

Accueil chaleureux dans le confort rustique d'un habitat authentique, logement insolite chez l'habitant. Hôte très serviable et réactif, bienveillant et de bon conseil. Mise à disposition d'un guide avec tuk-tuk. Le fait d'être excentrée de la ville était plutôt positif pour qui recherche du repos et du calme dans un cadre verdoyant. Une belle expérience ! Et du coup, situation proche d'une gare routière pour les bus vers Phnom Penh. Merci à Savet pour son aide dans l'organisation de nos déplacements. Très sympa de pouvoir discuter avec sa famille aussi. Merci à Odom de nous avoir véhiculés et guidés pendant notre journée de découverte.

Savets homestay is outside of the main city of Battembang. It is a very beautiful property and I felt like I was in the jungle. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. His friend drove me around for a half day tour and then we met up later with some other guests. It was a very memorable experience. If you have the chance take it. Also the breakfast was very delicious. Thanks Savet!

Beautiful scenery, spotless room, great host

We had a great stay at Odambang. The lodge is beautiful and clean. It is sorrounded by nature and gives a little bit of an outdoor feeling. Mosquito net available. Savet and his wife are lovely and help out where they can. The breakfast is very good. Bikes are available, we loved to explore the village with Savet who has many interesting stories to share. It takes maximum ten minutes to Battambang centre with a tuk tuk. Thanks for the great time 🙏

Our time in Odambang Homestay was peaceful, special and memorable. The hut itself has everything you need, is very quiet and comfortable with a lovely outdoor terrace for breakfast and relaxing. The highlight of our stay was our host Savait* who took on a whole day tour for a very reasonable price. We explored rural villages, the bamboo train and killing + bat caves. He was so informative and knowledgable about Cambodian culture and history and his English is fabulous. It was all really smooth we could not recommend more !!

Thoughtful touches: • Shampoo & body wash • Toothbrush & toothpaste • Mosquito spray • The family was having dinner in town & offered to collect me enroute home after having dinner in town too. I loved my stay with Sevat and his family in Odambang for a couple days of exploring the Battambang area. The rooms themselves are very nice and had my best sleep in months of travelling. Sevat also offers a tour around his village getting a better insight into their local community along with still hitting the tourist spots like the bamboo train and bat cave. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re planning to explore Battambang!!

This place is such a gem. It's a gorgeous little place tucked away in a village just outside the city. Savat was so helpful in every way, from picking me up in Battambang, to suggesting places to eat, showing me round the local area, taking me to a local place to have dinner, and arranging my onward travel. His wife Ana was also incredibly friendly and helpful. The room itself is just gorgeous and really good value for money. I loved my stay here.

Savet is the ultimate gracious host! He is friendly, conscientious, and very helpful, and he speaks excellent English! He arranged tuk tuk pickup from the bus station, picked me up from town after a massage, organised tuk tuk tours, and really treated me a family member. I can't say enough nice things about the whole family. The cabins are cute, bamboo huts with full private tiled bathroom with flushing toilet and gas hot water. Overhead fans in the room and on the veranda, plus a pedestal fan that was perfectly adequate to keep me cool. Breakfast was a tasty omelette, with fresh fruit from the garden. I highly recommend supporting this beautiful family by staying on their property. Be sure to check out Mona Samui Restaurant nearby for some of the freshest, tastiest and cheapest food I've eaten in Cambodia! Bed was perfect and firm, internet was excellent.

Be prepared for mosquito's, but the bed net is enormous and perfectly adequate. Also, I was there during the monsoons.

Loved our stay here! Savet was an exceptional host, the room and bathroom were amazing - fans in the room to help keep cool and a mosquito net that worked perfectly for keeping any bugs at bay! (Didn't notice them at night though, even being there in the rainy season). Would 100% recommend staying here. Savet was also incredibly generous and ensured we could get around, often giving us a lift in his Tuktuk. He also also picked us up when we arrived, and dropped us off to the bus station when we left.

A comfortable, tranquil stay. The room was large with a great shower and bathroom. The outside patio was fantastic to relax in. We really enjoyed the village bike tour with Savet. He was generous and dropped us to and from the city when we needed. The value for money is insane, I truely recommend this homestay to anyone who is looking to experience local life and immerse yourself into Cambodian culture. Savet’s driver was an engaging and passionate tour guide, he shared with us his life story and we were truely touched by his openness and intellect.

A very nice bungalow with a large table outside to eat and work, with fans inside and outside which is very refreshing. The owner is always available to take you anywhere in the tuk tuk and you can see the main attractions with him. The breakfast is also very good, with coffee, eggs and fresh fruit. Overall, it was the best place I have stayed in terms of value for money.

I would highly recommend this homestay. A small distance from the main centre, you gain in a tranquil environment. The host picked me up from my bus on arrival. Small gestures such as cold water and a fruit plate was welcomed and driving us into town for dinner was a kind gesture. The cabin was spacious, clean and had thoughtful extras such as toothbrush and paste. The bed was large and very comfortable. I highly recommend this home stay for a great experience in Battambang.

Savet was super informative about the country and so helpful with everything. He organised a tour with his friend and it was amazing !!! He was also very kind about dropping us to a restaurant and also to our bus when leaving. Breakfast including fruit from his garden was delicious.

If you want a true Cambodia experience with a fabulous local guide then you must stay here. We had two nights in this beautiful homestay with a lovely family who gave us such a warm welcome. They have two fabulous bamboo homes each with an en-suite with hot and cold showers and a lovely veranda where you can relax and enjoy their beautiful gardens. The huts have good working fans to keep you cool during the day and night, they provide you with towels and even a toothbrush and toothpaste! There’s a mosquito net above the bed which is perfect for a good nights sleep in their comfy beds. A delicious breakfast of eggs and fruit is included in the price which is such good value. Savet the owner is a tour guide and he will go above and beyond to make sure your visit meets your needs. He is extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much from him, and he certainly enhanced our tours of the area. He was willing and offered to take us anywhere we wanted and always shared a story on the way. A highlight for us was the personal tour of his village and being able to walk the local market with him and his wife and help them both prepare a typical Cambodian dish which we ate altogether. This homestay for us was one of the best experiences we have ever had and we would say it is a must stay for at least two nights if you are visiting Battambang.

Savet and Anna were extremely welcoming. The little hut that we had was so sweet, very comfortable bed, a mosquito net and our own balcony. Breakfast was served on our balcony and included fresh fruit from the garden. The only reason I haven't put exceptional for the location was because it was out of town in a rural location, which we prefer, big it does mean that tuk tuks are needed if you want to go out in the evening. Savet speaks excellent English and we learnt a lot from him. He gave us a tour of his village on bicycles, and Anna taught us to cook Cambodian style food after we had been with them to the local market to buy the ingredients. We would thoroughly recommend staying at this homestay if you are wanting to yourself in the culture, it's great value for money

Bring ear plugs, the insects and ghekos are very loud during the night!

Very easy to recommend, an incredible homestay with an incredibly kind host. The rooms are cosy and the beds are soft. No air con needed as the fans did the job perfectly well. The host will organise transport and tours for you and go into detail about the local culture and environment. I would recommend this honesty to anyone that is staying in the Battambang area.

This place is a paradise! I loved my days here and wished I stayed longer. Saveet and his family are great hosts and helped me with everything I needed during my stay. Super recommended!

My wife and I stayed with Mr. Savet and his family for a weekend. The location of his house is perfect, tucked away between rice fields and farms. Absolutely beautiful. Our hut was very clean and comfortable with three fans and a lovely big mosquito net over the bed. Mr Savet and his family were extremely warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay amazing. They fetched us from the bus station and helped transport us to all the places of interest. Mr Savet even took us for a drive through his village. This was our favourite part. The village is hidden among trees and farmland. His wife made us wonderful breakfast as well. This place is a hidden gem!

Our stay here was amazing. We unfortunately could just stay for one night. The provided mosquito net was the best we had during our Cambodia trip. The garden is amazing and breakfast was delicious. Having breakfast on the little terrace of the bungalow was great. The bungalow is built with a lot of attention to detail. The city is easy reachable via tuktuk in 10 minutes.

Nice little villagehouse naar the citycenter. The ouders are wonderful, fantastic dinners, brought us everywhere we wanted and gave us a nice tour through his beautifull village. He told us many interesting stories. Battambang is a lovely authentic city, People are warm and friendly, nice things to doe (bambootrain, cycling, nice old citycenter and more). We loved our stay there!!!

It was a pity that we had to leave after 3 nights!

Everything ! It was my best stay in Cambodia, the family is the kindest family I have met! They will do everything to make you happy ! The bungalow is super clean and confortable,the terrasse is a maxi bonus where they serve the breakfast. I highly recommend the place, near all the activities and if you want to go to the city they can easily drive you there.

It was a beautifully made and furnished bamboo hut. Savet and his family were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were really good and they made us an early breakfast on our departure. Savet took us on an interesting bike tour around the visit and organised tuk tuk trips with his friends.

The mattress was a bit uncomfortable.

It is really one of the best places we stayed at during our trip in Cambodia. Savet and his family are truly amazing! Highly recommended!
