A well-equipped self-catering unit, with a comfortable bed, good linen, pillows, etc. The kitchen was adequately equipped with utensils, cutlery, crockery, stove plates, microwave oven, a large fridge, and has adequate working surfaces. It has a comfortable L-shaped couch as well as a study-type table and chair. Upon arrival, there was a freshly home-baked banana loaf, which was a pleasant surprise. The unit is only a few minutes drive from Eugene Marais Hospital, as well as close to major shops and shopping centres/malls in the Northern suburbs of Pretoria. The hostess, Linette, is close at hand, should anything be needed. Shaded, secure on-site parking is available. This self-contained unit has all you would require!

There was no electricity, and has not had electricity for the past 6 weeks. They never bothered to communicate this and on arrival said it's not their problem. No alternative was provided. They refused to refund even though this was a serious problem on their side. They have not provided alternative accommodation referral. We ended up leaving and not checking in so that customer care can resolve the issue in order to preserve our perishables. Still to this day, still waiting for customer service to resolve the issue.

there is nothing i liked about it

room is old, and paints are falling off from the wall, all furnitures are old and too many useless things inside the room which is taking alot of space away

Mould on walls, couch and carpet very dirty and water dripping on your head while using bathroom. Had to find other accommodation.

The room had everything.... lot of space... it s a flatlet in one big room.... wow the free banana loaf.. kitchen....so many utensils.... free water bottles.. fresh blankets... wall waredrobes... easy access.... the place is quiet and very safe... the staff.... always ready to assist.... the hot water..big TV.. .. Keep it up.,

They should put in aircon.... they are still developing the place..... a fan was provided.... they should at least sort out the key access system when checking in and checking out.... instructions should be clear... but on average the place is excellent and well placed.

The shower.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The bedding was old, worn, and appeared to be of poor quality, which did not meet the standards I would expect from a hotel or bed-and-breakfast establishment. There was no extra blanket provided, and the room was not serviced or cleaned during the duration of our stay. The photographs displayed on the website do not appear to be recent, as the property is noticeably more run-down than the images suggest. Unfortunately, this created expectations that were not met upon arrival. Considering the amount I paid, I do not believe the accommodation offered good value for money. I travel extensively and, regrettably, this is not a place I would recommend to friends, family, or fellow travellers.

Host was extremely accommodating and helpful with my many requests. Host had the utmost patience. The place looks exactly like the pictures. The shower was amazing after a long day. Ample storage in the cupboards and the coffee in the coffee station made my day. The location is quiet and peaceful.

My least favorite thing was the sleeper couch because i think there was a smel ofl cleaning chemicals but non the less we still had a wonderful experience there for we are happy to come visit again hopefully soon.

That we had to leave

The location was superb. Quiet and tranquil, absolutely loved the location. Security is great and we did not feel unsafe at all, which is very important for us coming from a much smaller place and not being used to the city.

It was a great stay, everything we needed and more, but if we have to point out one little thing, just for the owners to know, double bed was great, but the sleeper couch was a bit hard, however we were aware of the sleeper couch arrangement beforehand and it was anticipated, but it did not overshadow our overall happiness with the accommodation and amenities.

Maybe the host may have a look at the bathroom door inside handles. It appears to injure one when you come out.

For one, the check-in process was the most seamless thing I've ever encountered. 2) The apartment looked exactly like it does in the pictures. It was clean, well kept, and just overall a delight to be in. 3) You get complementary banana bread when you check in--really, who can hate on that? My only regret was that my stay was so short, and I will definitely book here again when I'm in the country

Very organised. Accommodation was spacious and very clean.

Parking for the double cab was a bit of a squeeze but was safe behind a big gate and alarm system.

All the small little things that the hostess done to make it special. Water and Milk and Banana Bread was bonus.

I had the best time of my life, everything looked exactly like it was in the pictures, the place was clean. The landlords were warm and they showed up whenever we needed them.
