Lovely little place with easy parking in the church car park just behind, very friendly and the little extras of coffee scones etc were great
Location is 5 minute walk to 55 bus stop at the park, downtown, 10 minutes to super value, 12 minute walk to train station. Cosy, well appointed with rugs, clock, hooks. Condiments, tea , coffee, bread, milk & cereal provided. Host picked me up at the bus stop. Very welcome as raining and no # on outside door to find it. A sign says “no mail.”
Kitchenette needed a few extras- potholders, dish towel, paring knife. Bed dipped in middle, was soft. Lots of stairs to bedroom and bathroom. Beware as traffic goes by very fast.
Great communication from Graham, I knew where to park and how to collect the keys before I arrived. He also checked in with me during the stay to make sure I had everything I needed. The bedroom was large and beautifully bright and sunny in the afternoons, a lovely space to spend time in. Would definitely stay again.
Everything
The bed was a little uncomfortable, sorry
An excellent location and interesting property, very nicely decorated. Very easy check in. Everything I needed. Especially appreciated the milk and tea in plentiful supply!
Nothing
Good
Super
Our host provided cereal, milk, bottled water, tea & coffee which was much appreciated. As we were only staying one night this saved us a trip to the shop.
The bathroom toilet flush wasn't working properly.
It's a beautifully refurbished home. The kitchen facility is fine, there are items for your breakfast and the bathroom was spotless. I have to say, it was good to find that it was such a lovely property, and not just some kind of Heritage place as a shrine to the Clancy Brothers (much as I loved them!).
Nothing, really! The bed wasn't quite to my taste, in terms of springing, firmness etc., but that's a very personal thing. Also, just to be aware, there's no outdoor space available.
The bed was small for 2 people and the mattress was very soft. Not good for anyone with back issues.
Really cute apartment. Warm & cosy. Spotless. Interesting history to see within the apartment. The owner was very helpful.
No complaints!
Graham and his family were great hosts and was willing to help with anything we needed. It was really convenient that the family lived next door so they was available for any of our queries about the stay. Even ended up having a drink and a good chat with the family in the local pub which was really nice! Could t recommend enough and will definitely stay again!
The owners were lovely ,and the place was.spotless .great location for what we were renting the property.for .we didnt like the fact it was one
No problems we had a lovely stay . & graham the owner was a fabulous landlord
Lovely clean apartment that had everything you'd need. Little extras were great..ie milk and water in the fridge and then also muffins, tea, coffee etc.
It was just a little bit noisy if you had the windows open but we were going out for the evening so it didn't really matter. All in all everything was lovely and we'd definitely stay here again.
Excellent accommodation very clean very comfortable
Nothing
Lovely apartment, in the middle of town. Close to all amenities. A short hop to the Blue Way, a bike from Tracey’s, breakfast in Marty’s Pantry, and a pint in the Whistlers. All with in 10minutes of the Apartment. The bonus for us as folk music fans, was to stay in the Home of the Clancy Brothers, lovely memorabilia, set in an interior design which has a lot of thought gone into it.
All Good.
Everything. Nice and clean. Well located.
Shower drain did not run freely. Would have liked a longer shower
