Chalet Mirador Chicamocha

La vista es espectacular, todo muy limpio, excelentes anfitriones, un lugar hermoso para descansar.

Het uitzicht van dit verblijf is ongeëvenaard. We verbleven hier één nacht en na enkele dagen ziekte wilde ik hier vooral uitrusten en daarvoor was het meer dan perfect, ontzettend van genoten. Al vanaf de boeking was er een goed contact en fijne communicatie met instructies voor de rit, check-in, het ontbijt dat we wensten enzovoort. We werden hartelijk ontvangen bij aankomst en rondgeleid in het verblijf. Toen de host (sorry, naam ontglipt mij even helemaal!) vernam dat ik nog een beetje ziek was, kreeg ik meteen verse munt aangeboden voor een thee wat ik erg lief vond en het hielp nog eens ook. Ze wilden aanbevelingen doen voor restaurants en toen we aangaven dat we na een reisdag weinig zin hadden om opnieuw te rijden, stelden ze een restaurant voor waar we eten konden bestellen dat ze leverden. Ik nam voor de veiligheid een soep die erg smaakte en mijn man een vleesgerecht, eveneens goedgekeurd! Er zijn waterflessen in de koelkast die bijgevuld kunnen worden, alsook een mandje met gratis snacks zoals noten en gepofte quinoa die we apprecieerden. Verder is het mogelijk drankjes zoals bier, wijn of andere snacks te kopen. We werden verwend met een mooie zonsondergang en nog magischer was het toen de volle maan plotseling van achter de bergen rees. Het was zo prachtig! Dit uitzicht is letterlijk te bewonderen vanuit je bed. Ik vond de muziekbox met 'kaarslicht' een leuk detail. 's ochtends genoten we van de zonsopgang (al vond ik de zonsondergang meer de moeite!), de warme buitendouche met zicht op de camping en het fantastische ontbijt dat we mooi geserveerd kregen in een ontbijttray met schaaltjes, mandjes en versierd met een hibiscusbloem. Het is heerlijk genieten van de ochtendzon in de schommelstoelen. Af en toe kwam Kora, hun rottweiler ons inspecteren, maar vooral om veel knuffels vragen. We werden over haar geïnformeerd en ze was erg tam en lief. Er zijn ook twee teckels, deze zagen we enkel in het begin.

Helemaal niets, alles was perfect.

La vista al cañón es hermosa y la cabaña es muy acogedora, cómoda y linda. Es genial que tiene su cocina. Pedro, Dayana y Kora son unas grandes anfitrionas. Sin duda un gran lugar. Volveremos.

The view is impressive. You can literally watch it all day. The hosts are super friendly and accomodating.

Es un lugar hermoso con una vista increíble. Es un privilegio poder contemplar el cañón del Chicamocha desde un lugar tan apacible.

It is full of charm and wonderful views. It has everything you need for a getaway. You feel like if you were at sky level with the breathtaking landscape of the canyon. The staff were very helpful and kind. If you are planning to visit the Parque Nacional del Chicamocha park, you are only like 12 mins away in a “bike-car” ride that takes you to the cable car station. Very convenient and affordable transportation!

Es un lugar único y encantador de estilo rústico chic ;) La vista es un encanto e incluso se ve un corazón escondido entre las montañas. Además tiene a Kora, una perrita negra que vive cerca, es grande e imponente pero se comporta como una bebé y da la bienvenida para que la experiencia sea aún mejor. La arquitectura del chalet está hecha pensada en cada detalle con muchísimo gusto y cariño, la ducha al aire libre es una joya. El desayuno es delicioso. Solo puedo decir que es un lugar mágico para compartir con alguien muy especial entre la naturaleza, las montañas y una copa de vino. Pedro, su anfitrión, habla español e inglés y es muy amable. Lo recomiendo, repetiría sin duda!

La vista y el diseño del chalet

Die Unterkunft ist richtig toll. Mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Das Frühstück war fantastisch und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist einfach fantastisch, das ist mit einer der schönsten Flecken der Erde. Richtig toll! Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Stunning location

Unfortunately the weather was quite cool and wet when we stayed and this made the accommodation damp and chilly as it is predominantly outdoor space. As long as you have layers, everything is fine.

Este es el mejor hospedaje de la Mesa de los Santos. La habitación, la privacidad, el espacio, todo. Además, la vista es espectacular.

Nada. Todo fue perfecto.

Tiene una vista inmejorable y la cabaña cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar un dia increíble. Los anfitriones son super amables y el desayuno estaba muy rico.

Una experiencia increíble, la tranquilidad, el clima, la comodidad, los anfitriones, la perrita cora, todo es una experiencia 10/10!!!

Fantastic chalet with the most incredible view! Very well equipped and the host was outstanding. One of my favourite places I’ve stayed in South America.

Nothing! Just note that if you’re arriving there via the cable car, you need to have entered the national park by 3pm.

After our 2-weeks trip to Colombia we can say - that was the best accomodation we had. It was phenomenal and we love it! The location is amusing and breathtaking. The chalet has everything you need to drink, eat and enjoy the view. The bedroom is very cosy and also allow you to see a beautiful sunrise without moving from the bed. The host is very nice, helpful, and will give you all necessary information about the attractions and restaurants nearby. He also speaks very good English. Breakfast are tasty, and served in very nice way. We feel in that place very good, and we recommend it to experience the nature and canyon. To feel the Colombia!

Completely nothing!

The Chalet was nicely equipped and very clean. The view (all over the place: balcony, bedroom and even the bathroom!) was amazing (wake up at 6 AM to look at the sunrise!) The couple owning the place were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely served and delicious. There is a nice Chemex to brew your coffee, so bring some nicely grinded beans. Totally worth it. We regret not booking at least one more night to enjoy this place.
