De hotelkamers zijn uniek en qua locatie liggen sommige kamers heel mooi en sommige verscholen. Het maakt erg uit welk huisje je hebt voor het uitzicht. Wij kregen het ‘slechtste’ huisje met uitzicht en besloten deze te upgraden naar een huisje met prachtig uitzicht. Dit hadden ze bij het inchecken ook wel aan mogen geven dat dit tot de mogelijkheden behoorde. Ik besloot een half uur voor zonsondergang een fles wijn te bestellen om met mijn partner in het huisje van het uitzicht te genieten. De eerste fles die ik koos was na een kwartier zoeken niet beschikbaar. De tweede ook niet, waarna ik maar een willekeurige fles genomen heb. Dit proces verliep enorm traag en de service van het restaurant viel hierbij enorm tegen. Tegen de tijd dat ik de fles wijn had, was de zon al onder. Dit was een domper. Een uur later besloten we bij het restaurant te gaan eten. Tot onze verbazing sloot deze al om 20:00, maar we konden om 19:10 nog eten bestellen. De volgende verbazing trof ons toen om 19:40 de grote lampen aangingen in het restaurant en we naar buiten werden gestuurd om daar het eten geserveerd te krijgen. De rekening werd ons al gepresenteerd voordat we een hap gegeten hadden. Deze service verwacht ik niet bij een hotel dat zo’n goede beoordeling heeft op diverse websites. Om positief te eindigen: de kwaliteit van het eten, zowel diner als ontbijt, is voortreffelijk! Er is echter wel begeleiding nodig bij het onervaren horeca-personeel.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Die einzelnen Appartements liegen auf dem Berg und haben alle wunderschöne Blick, vielleicht aber nicht alle Appartements. Sehr moderne Konstruktion und wunderschöne Balkone. Das Personal ist super freundlich und immer bemüht ein gutes Service anzubieten. Die Lage ist ruhig, und es wird immer ein Lagerfeuer angeboten, welches man mit einer Uhrzeit reservieren muss. Die jakuzi wir empfohlen trotz kaltes Wetters, denn mit dem Ausblick auf dem Tall und dem guten Service (bar) lässt sich einen sehr schönen Abend verbringen.
Um zum Hotel zu gelangen braucht man eigenes Auto

La cabaña que nos dieron daba a la parte de atrás de otra cabaña, y se suponía que el plus del lugar era las vistas; también se escuchaba todo el ruido de la cabaña cercana.

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025El personal fue súper amable, especialmente Gloria, Felippe y Lucy, quienes siempre estuvieron atentos y con una sonrisa. El diseño de las cabañas es muy bonito, con un estilo natural y acogedor. El desayuno estaba delicioso con muy buena calidad .
La música estaba demasiado fuerte y a veces resultaba incómodo descansar. Además, por el frío durante la noche, no pudimos dormir bien — las cabañas tienen mallas antimosquitos sobre la puerta y la gran puerta corrediza hacia el balcón, lo que deja pasar mucho aire. El diseño es lindo, pero no está del todo bien pensado para el clima.

Sugiero que polaricen el vidrio principal del baño porque, aunque es agradable ducharse con la impresionante vista de las montañas, al parecer el vidrio no está polarizado y uno siente que falta un poco de privacidad.

No mantienen la tranquilidad del lugar, otros huéspedes ponen música y hacen escándalo hasta la madrugada y el hotel no hace mucho por controlar la situación. Los cócteles son costosos y de mala calidad, y las comidas, aunque son buenas, son muy costosas y caen en la monotonía, pues la mayoría contiene cerdo.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2024Mountain View, the Chicanocha rooms have a floor to ceiling glass view from the room to the mountains as well as from the shower, which was pretty amazing. The room and bathroom had everything we needed, bed was very comfortable and the black out shades were great! We left the sliding door in the window slightly opened at night and did not need a fan, temperature was perfect. The jacuzzi water temperature was perfect as well, and loved the bar tender pool service. The food and drinks at the bar and restaurant was delicious as well.
That they didn’t make me stay longer!!! Maybe one thing I would have liked is for the infinity pool to be heated, since the water gets cold since it’s up in the mountains.

e booked an upgraded room specifically for the mountain view, but our experience started off disappointing. Despite arriving early and waiting, we were given a room with no view at all—just a tree. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the canyon view, so we requested a room change. We were told we could switch to a room with the view we originally paid for, but it would cost an additional €10. However, when we went to pay, they unexpectedly charged us another €10 on top of that. Frustrated, we accepted the charges just to get the view we wanted. Thankfully, the new room was incredible, with stunning views that made the stay worthwhile. What surprised us was learning the room had been available for some time—making the extra charges feel unnecessary. Breakfast was included in our stay, but when we asked for some limes, extra eggs, and an additional coffee, we were shocked to see another €15 added to our bill. It felt like we were being charged for every little thing, which put a damper on the experience.

The place is wonderful, perfect for a getaway with your partner to connect with nature, as it offers a spectacular view from the cabins. The restaurant is delicious, 100% recommended. The service and hospitality of all the staff, both from the hotel and the restaurant, are fully guaranteed. We simply fell in love with this place. We hope to return soon.
We have no complaints; we truly enjoyed our stay there.
