Everything you could need for a comfortable stay
The setting was gorgeous, surrounded by trees and grass. The house was very comfortable for our family stay with two bathrooms and a kitchen that opened out onto a shared garden. It would be a great place to come with the whole extended family and rent all 3 cottages, as there’s a ping pong table and bbq area. The host Andrea communicated well with us, and was very accommodating to the fact that I’m in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy so helped with a few requests. She came and had a chat with us before we left and we got to meet her two lovely dogs. There is a really nice atmosphere around the Mount Brandon Cottages.
Very comfortable cottage. We are backpacking and really appreciate the washer and dryer. We enjoyed the scones and bread left for us.

Very comfortable great location
Nothing not too like
Comfort in every way.
I have nothing to say.
The cottage was not only cute and cosy, it was warm when we arrived. Andrea cooked some typical German Christmas biscuits which were delicious for us, such a lovely touch. She also had decorated the house and it felt welcoming and christmasy. Andrea lives next door and welcomed us personally to show us around. Every detail had been thought about, side lamps, enough hooks in bedroom and everything you need in kitchen including sponges and towels.
We had to bring our own towels, didn’t bothered us much as we came from Dublin. Maybe it was only because it was close to Christmas - mattresses were a bit soft
We had a fabulous stay at Mount Brandon Cottages. The accommodation is amazing. So comfortable and clean and excellent facilities. The location is peaceful and serene, surrounded by nature. Andrea is a warm and welcoming host. We will definitely return. 😀
Clean and cozy, plus it's in a perfect location.
Nothing. No complaints at all.
The location and gardens are superb
The interiors are spotlessly clean but require updating
The host Andrea was very welcoming and helpful and we loved the resident sheep dogs Boomer and Dusty. The cottages are set within beautiful gardens and only a short walk from from the Villlage and River.
Excellent emplacement qui permet de rayonner dans toute la région. Le gîte est propre, spacieux et très confortable, situé dans un très joli jardin.
The house was ina good location - beautiful gardens
Main room a little dark
very nice place. I will recommend my friend book this place
Location, host was very friendly, lots of facilities nearby for a relatively remote location.
Place could've been a bit warmer. Temperatures were a bit low originally for me as an asthmatic and with little children, but once warm it was great..
We spent Christmas at Mount Brandon Cottages, mother(me!) three adult children and my daughter's partner. Within minutes of arriving on Christmas Eve, Andrea came to welcome us and give us a tour of the house and tell us how everything worked. We had already seen the Christmas wreaths on the doors which was a lovely touch..we went into the house and Andrea had left a Christmas card, a plate of delicious home made cookies, there were lovely Christmas bits and bobs everywhere and in the sitting room..a decorated, lit up Christmas tree! We were really blown away by the thoughtfulness and effort, it was so homely and cosy, it just made our Christmas. We got settled in and few hours later, Andrea texted to check that everything was good...which it was! The house was spotless, very well equipped, so comfortable with sustainability to the forefront. The location was beautiful, gorgeous views and a short walk into the town and the river and forest walks. Andrea came back to see us as we were packing up to go and we had a great chat with her. The personal attention as well as the house itself was just such a positive experience. Thank you Andrea and I hope we get to go back to Mount Brandon in the future.
Nothing to say here!
Beautiful location, walking distance from the town. Amazing views, lovely garden. Received a delicious home-baked treat from our friendly hosts.
Nicely located, great space
Inside the cottage it was colder than outside the cottage, garden items and garden itself was quite used up
The third bedroom was small but nicely fit the pack and play! The host was incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was excellent. The property was overall extremely cozy.
No towels was tricky as we were traveling.
Very Quiet space a short walk from town

Gardens were lovely. Cottage had everything we could need and was very clean, warm and comfortable. Very close to the village. Just wish we had more time to enjoy being there.
Lovely quiet, clean, spacious cottage. Wonderful night's sleep. Excellent host. We loved the home baked treat!!
Large. Close to village. Nice and private. Quiet.
Lovely quiet location on a rural property but just 1 km back to the village. The property was well equipped and fully functional. The hostess was lovely with great instructions on where to find the keys and there was plenty of information on house etiquette. All three beds were very comfortable and cosy. An excellent place for a three day holiday. We loved that the house was sign posted.

Well-equipped cottage and just a short walk away from the town of Graignamanagh. Andrea was an excellent host and kept in touch with us. Dusty and Boomer, the two collies checked us out each day. A very relaxing stay.
Could not find anything wrong.
The house was spotless

Beautiful, well equipped cottages in an idylic and peaceful location and just a short stroll away from the sleepy town of Graignamanagh. Andrea is by far the perfect host and kept in touch with us when our ferry was delayed meaning we arrived quite late in the evening. She had prepared our cottage so it was lovely and warm and so welcoming. Each morning Dusty and Boomer the resident dogs would come to say hello :) and Andrea was always to hand if needed. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay in a place i would not hesitate to stay again. We will definitely be back soon.
Superb
nothing
The location was superb with Graiguenamanagh and the River Barrow close by.
It would have been good if we could have got access to RTÉ as well as BBC.
Easy check-in, good communication, comfortable beds, detailed instructions on using everything. The house is in a lovely quiet setting.
The property is quite close to the village but there is a dangerous bend with no footpath just as you leave the property, we felt it wasn’t safe to walk this but luckily had a non drinker who could drive us in at night!
