Idilio Escape

É maravilhoso ter o rio passando no quintal. Esse foi o ponto alto pra nos! A casa é antiga e portanto muito charmosa e a Hillary foi muito amigável conosco. Nos sentimos em casa.

The kitchen was nice and the view from the outer area (not the bedroom) was lovely. The home was lovely. The owner was lovely, friendly and helpful. We would have stayed if the larger room was available.

We didn’t get the room that we thought we were getting. We thought we had booked the large room with a river view. Instead we got a very small room with no view, the bed was too small for us and the room was tiny so we left after one night. We couldn’t see the view from the bedroom.

Honestly this stay definitely exceeded my expectations 💯. The host was just a warm, welcoming and awesome lady, she made sure we were ok with everything, the place was so clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend 💯 not to mention that they have a river by the back that we have access to and tubing at an extra cost that we definitely enjoyed... the stay overall was absolutely amazing I will definitely be going back in the future ❤

Friendly staff, clean facility and comfortable home

Bed is small for an adult couple

Everything was perfect for my stay. I loved it!

Room equipped with everything and huge bathroom.

There was a huge party at the house, without informing us in advance. In general we felt a little bit observed.

Very peaceful and comfortable, nobody disrupt my safe and I got the relaxation I wanted. Drive to the town was close also

Didn’t find any problem with it

The cleaness

The parking

The beautiful river, architecture and people.

There was nothing I did not like.

The host was very friendly. Would definitely return to fully enjoy the river on the property

The fan should be a ac instead

I like everything about this place I love it

There is nothing I didn't like the make me so welcome

Everything

The property was clean, well organized, welcoming, and the owners were resourceful, friendly, warm, I felt right at home.

I liked everything about the property and would recommend it to others.

I loved that Hilary, Corey and P.J were so warm, welcoming and made me feel right at home as a solo traveller. My room was modern and exceptionally clean, the cooking facilities were great and there were also staff on site like Nick who took me on tours and Ryan (the designated driver) who was my chaperone into town - Ochi. The hidden gem for me was the almost exclusive access to the White river running around the back of the house where I had a limestone massage or would sit and meditate in the mornings. They even offer Tubing tours along the river which I thought was absolutely fantastic! Idilio escape was a calm, comfortable and memorable experience. I would definitely book and go back.

If I had to pick one thing I would say the amount of steps down to the gazebo. I could manage however some might be expecting a ramp as an alternative or steps that are closer together?

The location of the property is great. I loved that it was right on the river. We got a great room with a large balcony with amazing views. I love that the property is also Jamaican owned - support local!

Location Owner pleasant Access to the river and view from balcony

I spent several hours with trying to find a clean and comfortable place to stay and I am really pleased with what I found. I absolutely loved the fact that the home was located right next to the "White River" also it was in town. The home was nice and spotless!!! I'm all about cleanliness. The entire family was so friendly and polite. We did not have transportation. The son (Patrick) took us where we needed to go on several occasions. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only thing I didn't like about the room is that it did not have air conditioning although I was shown another room with air conditioning, it was more money than the one without air conditioning, so we decided to stay in the room that I initially reserved.

beautiful hosts Hilary made our stay. super accommodating and helpful. you could not wish for more 10/10
