Fijne locatie. Mooi uitzicht op het dal en de heuvelachtige omgeving. Prima ontvangst bij aankomst. Parkeer gelegenheid op de lokatie. Vriendelijk en behulpzame host. Mooie schone kamer en zeer ruime bad kamer. Prima uitgebreid ontbijt naar keuze. Zeer geschikte lokatie om Dingel te bezoeken. Ook een fijne pub met goed eten en drinken op geringe afstand. Deze lokatie krijgt van ons een 10.

Perfect peaceful location. Breakfast was a feast - home made soda bread, the most delicious fruit salad, and I have never had such creamy scrambled egg. Cosy quiet room , fabulous hot shower. Our dog was so well catered for too , an enclosed field for her to play in . Catherine and Ray are excellent hosts, we would love to go back

La struttura si trova in una zona molto tranquilla, non molto lontana dalla città di Dingle. La camera e il bagno sono spaziosi, puliti e attrezzati. La colazione è stata super. Catherine e Ray sono stati molto disponibili e accoglienti. Consigliamo vivamente di soggiornare qui si vuole visitare la peninsula di Dingle.

A very nice and clean place to stay, with very warm and welcoming hosts! The bathroom was huge and beautifully designed, and the breakfast room was right next to the room and equipped with everything you could need. Dear Catherine and Ray, thank you so much for your hospitality and the lovely conversations.

Einfach alles… Das Zimmer war liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bad war groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage war etwas abgelegen, daher aber ruhig mit einer herrlichen Aussicht in die Landschaft. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich, es fehlte an nichts. Die Gastgeber Cathrine und Ray haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen. Wir hatten sehr nette angeregte Gespräche.

A wonderful and peaceful place with exceptionally kind hosts. We were not looking for lively nights in the pubs — just somewhere to relax after hiking all day — and this B&B was perfect. It offers peace and quiet, a very comfortable bed, a spacious apartment, excellent food, and genuinely warm and welcoming hosts. One of the best experiences of our trip around Ireland.

Very spacious bedroom and huge bathroom! Access to a dining room with a small fridge where you also had breakfast overlooking the mountains and watching house martins feed their chicks! Amazing view over valley and mountains. Very comfy bed and wardrobe space. Outdoor chairs to watch the changing light on the mountains. A few minutes drive from Annascaul where we went for a hike by the lake and into a stunning valley. Good base to explore Dingle. Above all Catherine and Ray are delightful people and so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and worth spending time over!!

De locatie was erg mooi. De bedden waren zeer goed. Faciliteiten voortreffelijk ook voor mensen met een beperking. Ontbijt was vers veel te kiezen en van zeer goede kwaliteit. Ray and Catherine waren fantastisch liefdevol en zeer verzorgend. En heeft ons aan niets ontbroken. Zeer nette gezellige b&b wat als thuis voelt en welkom.

Catherine and Ray were the most spectacular hosts and the location provided stunning views and serenity that is hard to come by. We felt completely at home and the attention to detail and hospitality by our hosts was incredible. Amazing breakfast too! We were truly sad to leave.

Our only complaints: the views were too beautiful, the bed was too comfy, and the food was too tasty-all of which made it harder to want to leave so we could explore the area😉

Our favorite stay in Ireland because it was so comfortable and peaceful. Slept so deeply with how quiet it is. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Catherine and Ray clearly love meeting their guests and made it feel like staying with family. The view and surrounding farm are beautiful.

Hosts were like family, most generous The accommodation was very spacious with additional room to have breakfast and relax,which we had not expected and should be included in property description its a real bonus. Bathroom is also very spacious..There is a small smart TV in bedroom above wardrobe so you can set up your films and programmes. Also irish TV Of course breakfast was excellent

We liked everything about this property and its hosts. 10/10 for everything. Comfortable bed, wonderful freshly made breakfast every morning. Mini fridge with fresh water and milk supplied every day. Nothing was too much for our wonderful hosts, Catherine & Ray. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom with facilities for anyone with a disability as well. Car parking right outside and a lovely porch area .

Fantastic breakfast, cereal, fruit salad, yoghurt, then our choice of a cooked breakfast. Catherine’s scrambled eggs were lovely, also her full Irish breakfast. The view from our room was just beautiful, looking out towards hills and farms with sheep and cows. It was so quiet and peaceful staying at Swallows Rest, we loved our stay. Very comfortable bed which was beautifully made up every day. Big bathroom with heater and spotlessly clean.

We liked everything. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. The breakfast was served fresh every day. Catherine and Ray are very friendly people who are always ready to speak with and help us. The view in front of it is amazing, particularly in the morning in the good weather.

Ray and Catherine are the warmest and most helpful hosts(people) I have encountered in all of my travels. I had a rough day on the Camino Kerry trail from Tralee to Camp so when I finally reached Annascaul around 10pm at night I was exhausted and a bit embaraased I was arriving so late. They were so welcoming and kind and that meant the world to me. The room and bathroom are large and equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more...think usb ports, hairdryer, tea/coffee(fresh milk) and the bed was the most comfortable of all my stays in Ireland. You will have a beautiful view from your room and back porch of the mountains and green valley. The private breafast room looks out on the gorgeous scenery as well. You will be served The BEST breakfast I had during my 2 week trip around Ireland!!! Amazing full Irish breakfast and many other options provided. I had 2 wonderful days of recovery and exploring the beautiful town and Inch Beach. Ray and Catherine were so knowledgeable about the area and helped me gain my confidence back as I got ready to leave and go onto my next adventures in Ireland. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. This would be a perfect place to stay as a home base to travel the Dingle Pennisula. Where to start, Catherine and Ray are the most welcoming and lovely hosts! It felt like staying with family. The room is beautiful, lovely and warm, everything from the decor to the bed linen and towels are just perfect. Every little extra touch is thought of! Catherine makes a beautiful breakfast - the scrambled eggs were AMAZING! Sandy, my dog has never been as relaxed in her life either - and was treated to a biscuit each morning from Ray! The view is amazing, it is so peaceful and quiet yet only a few minutes drive from Annascaul. We really enjoyed every second of our stay and were so sad to leave - thank you so much Catherine and Ray, we hope to stay again soon!

We especially loved Catherine’s scrambled eggs! Yum! It is close to a cute village… Annascaul where everyone is friendly! The Swallows Nest is a must for us on our next trip to Ireland!

Swallows Rest is set in the lovely, lush countryside of Co Kerry, about 4km by car from the village of Annascaul. Not only is the room is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, but it also has a small outdoor terrace perfect for sitting outside on summer evenings! The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly and take care to offer a breakfast based on locally-sourced ingredients. Pets are also welcome - highly recommended!

Beautiful room with a very comfortable bed and spectacular views. Catherine and Ray were exceptional hosts with lots of local knowledge. The breakfast was delicious and kept us full until our evening meal. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend Swallows Rest to anyone. Our dog loved the large field where she could have a good run around.

Accommodation was really good and very comfortable. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Exceptional hosts. Home cooked breakfast was so nice with lots to variety. Lots of parking here too. Exceptional scenery for good measure. Would love to come back.

This stay was absolutely exceptional. The hosts were amazing from the very first meet and greet to the last goodbyes. They went out of their way and beyond to make us feel comfortable, happy, cozy, welcomed, like at home, with friends. :-) We even got a fire lit on our last day! What a lovely surprise to go along with our full Irish breakfast! The accommodation itself was fabulous, very comfy bed, great bathroom, a TV, kettle and coffee and tea, with biscuits in the room :-) it provided everything we needed. Plenty of parking, too! The views were out of this world! Stunning. I would 100% return recommend (and I have already) to anyone planning on visiting Dingle.

If this was a property in Spain, I'd love a shuttle bus to Dingle town :-D Other than that, there was nothing I didn't like.

Beautiful location, though I visited in the middle of a winter break - I'll bet the views are even more stunning in Summertime. Very close - 5 min drive - to a long and peaceful beach, Inch strand, to walk on. I had my little dog with me and he absolutely loved it. Also easy access to other places to visit in the area. Breakfast was delicious food, and lots of options re continental, fresh fruit, as well as full Irish - complete with the fresh soda bread! The hosts were lovely people, and very keen to do what they could to make you feel as comfortable as possible, helping with travel and info on the local area. Dog friendly - my little dog loved them too, and he's a pretty good judge of character :) Thank you for a lovely stay.

Can't think of anything negative.

There is plenty of choice from cerials, toast and jam/marmalade to very nicely cooked full Irish breakfast with great coffee. The room was very comfortable, a comfortable bed, plenty of space to store your clothing etc, and a spacious shower room. To top it off the location is very peaceful with a stunning view.

The property is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable every detail designed to perfection. The landscape is very inspiring as you are viewing the mountains amid the soft sweet fields. I loved the beautiful patio out front and the wheelchair accessible spacious and beautiful bathroom. The property is wheelchair accessible and even has a drive that delivers one to the front door. Swallows Rest has everything one might desire. The breakfasts were so delicious, with fresh fruit, delicious jams and breads, cereals and an amazing mains menu including the full Irish with farm fresh eggs, gluten free (by order) pancakes and more by Katherine. I felt very pampered and welcomed, I will return and can’t wait. As a solo traveler I loved the accessible walk to nearby Annascual where I was able to take in the beautiful scenery and also enjoy Hanafin’s pub and the South Pole pub. Go early or make a reservation because the restaurants get very busy. The main road has waking/biking trails all the way to town and the road to Swallows Rest is quiet and felt safe.
