Reviewed Aug 30, 2026We vonden het een heel aangenaam verblijf en vonden het vooral een vrij ruim appartement met alles erop en eraan! Fabio was heel behulpzaam en we aten zelfs één avond in zijn restaurant Nanna Mica, erg lekker! Hij raadde ons zelfs een gratis parking aan die enkel bij de locals gekend is.
Het appartement ligt in oud Palermo waar het heel vuil is en er soms raar volk rondloopt. Vanuit onze kamer hoorden we lawaai van op de straat (café gasten van in de buurt én toeterende vespa's), zelfs wanneer het raam dicht was.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Everything was great, for the price you pay you get very good accommodation. The location is also awesome and close to tourist attractions (10 minutes walk or bus). Both host and staff were lovely people. Breakfast was served in an area in accommodation(good range of food, if you’re not picky you will find something definitely). I read some reviews that mentioned noise from the street, but we didn’t have any issues :) thank you!

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Soggiorno breve ma perfetto a Palermo! Abbiamo trascorso solo un giorno presso Mercede Rooms, ma è bastato per renderci conto di quanto sia una struttura eccezionale. La posizione è fantastica e strategica: si trova a pochissimi minuti a piedi dalle attrazioni principali e dal centro storico, il che ci ha permesso di ottimizzare al massimo il poco tempo a disposizione per visitare la città. Le camere sono moderne, estremamente pulite, accoglienti e dotate di ogni comfort. Un plauso speciale all'accoglienza: lo staff (un grazie in particolare a Fabio per la sua straordinaria disponibilità e simpatia) ci ha fornito consigli preziosissimi per muoverci e per gustare il miglior cibo locale. Un'esperienza fantastica, anche se breve. Torneremo sicuramente per un soggiorno più lungo! Consigliatissimo!

The location is excellent, with the market and all the main attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious, and everything was very clean and organized. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Mercedes Rooms! ❤️

Selection of breakfast was poor, yoghurts and cartons of juice were sitting out warm. Only other options were croissants, some cheese and deli meats , which didn’t look very fresh and two choices of cereal. The first day we checked in, we were told air conditioning wasn’t working , we then had to sit in for our first day there to wait on the man fixing it. Air conditioning then stopped working on the second day and instead of blowing out cool air , it was blowing out warm air. The management were clearly aware of this problem and decided to put us in this room anyway. We had to split the rest of our stay between another two rooms , which were both much smaller than the first room we originally paid for . Wouldn’t say it’s quality for money here at all. The other staff weren’t the friendliest at times and when asked for extra towels and toilet rolls , they acted as if they had to go out their way to get this for us .

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Wir hatten einen äußerst zuvorkommenden Gastgeber. Bereits weit im Voraus erhielten wir Infos, wo wir unseren Mietwagen parken können. Auch die Angst die ZTL bei der Anreise zu befahren konnte er nehmen. Es hat vom Check-in, über das Frühstück bis zur Abreise alles bestens funktioniert. Die Lage in der Nähe der Kathedrale, direkt um die Ecke der Innenstadt ist unschlagbar.

Das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig gewesen. Jedes Mal, wenn die Eingangstür unten aufging, hatte man das Gefühl, dass jemand in den Raum steht. Der Wasserboiler im Badezimmer hat alle paar Minuten gepiept, und die Dusche war nicht fest montiert. Da sind so ein paar negative Sachen, ansonsten für paar Tage reicht es aus.

Estuvimos en la tercera planta que tenía una terraza amplia, aunque con las hamacas un poco descuidadas. Aire acondicionado y baños aceptables. El chico nos puso muchas facilidades. Hay parking gratuito enfrente del hotel.
La cama pequeña que había a la entrada se movía mucho y era incómoda.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026La struttura è in una ottima posizione strategica per girare Palermo a piedi (dietro al mercato del Capo) e cosa da non sottovalutare c'è un parcheggio nelle vicinanze. Colazione buona. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Stanza ampia per 3 persone.
La stanza in linea di massima è ben tenuta, anche se l'interno della doccia non era pulitissima. Se posso dare un consiglio alla struttura, più attenzione ai dettagli non guasterebbe. Altro dettaglio, a volte fastidioso, sono i residenti che urlano alla mattina presto (cominciano intorno alle 6 a.m.)

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026La chambre était grande et très propre et la communication avec le propriétaire était excellente: il y a eu un souci avec le chauffe-eau et il est rapidement intervenu. La situation à proximité du marché est sympa, même si les rues sont du coup assez sales.
La seule chose qui nous a dérangés, c'est que la chambre est bruyante. En plus du problème avec le chauffe-eau (qui sera vite résolu, je n'en doute pas), la porte principale claque très fort et toute la journée (plus une bonne partie de la nuit), et l'installation du marché commence tôt. De plus, il n'y a pas de volets ou de rideaux occultants aux fenêtres, et les nuits sont donc très lumineuses... Ce sont des petites choses à fixer (porte, rideaux occultants), mais cela ferait la différence :)

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Es hat uns super gut gefallen. Der Host war super sympathisch und hilfsbereit und hat beim check-in viele Tipps gegeben. Die Location war ein Traum, direkt ums Eck gab es einen authentischen Markt (hat ca. von 9 - 14 Uhr offen). Es ist auch sonst alles super schnell zu erreichen. Das Highlight ist natürlich die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf die Stadt von Palermo. Würde ich auf jeden Fall nocheinmal buchen! :)

The shower was not very clean and the amenities were quite old. There was no place to put shampoo, etc. in the shower and the water didn’t go away quick. The breakfast was alright, coffee and drinks very nice but not many healthy options.

L’expérience était agréable, même si elle était légèrement en dessous de MercedeS-BENZ 😄 Fabio vous donnera, dès votre arrivée, toutes les informations nécessaires concernant les restaurants, les visites…etc. Le petit-déjeuner proposé est excellent, et le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux.
Ce serait parfait si la douche était un peu plus grande.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Un établissement très propre, le gérant a été très gentil et accueillant. Il nous a donné tous les conseils nécessaires et était tout le temps joignable. Le petit déjeuner le matin très bon aussi ! Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement !

Zu wenig Geschirr, z.B. keine Teekanne Zusatzbett nicht bequem für Erwachsene

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Odlična lokacija, sve bitne znamenitosti su u blizini. Doručak je dobar. Domaćin Fabio je vrlo pristupačan, spreman pomoći što god ga pitate. Preporučio nam je gdje jesti, gdje je najbolji gelato, i sve bi dalje preporučili.

He provided all the necessary information and details upfront, making everything smooth from the moment of booking. Their attention and helpfulness truly exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay here again.
Nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect for us.

Sehr kleines Bad vorallem die Dusche ist nicht so gut, da diese sehr klein ist.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026w samym centrum miasta, apartament z tarasem ma dwie twarze: super widok na góry i katedrę oraz drugą, na sąsiednie budynki, których stan techniczny i wizualny pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Ale z drugiej strony to jest historyczne centrum miasta więc nie można spodziewać się odrestaurowanych prywatnych posesji. Bliskość targu to ogromna zaleta bo wszystko pod ręką. Z drugiej strony jeśli ktoś niekoniecznie jest koneserem ryb to ich zapach dość długo unosi się w powietrzu:) Przemiła i kontaktowa obsługa. Śniadania skromne (nie ubogie), w stylu włoskim ale bardzo smaczne, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Cena 3EUR jest symboliczna i naprawdę warto bo o tej porze na mieście niczego nie znajdziecie. pomijam fakt, że za 3EUR to nawet kawy nie kupicie a tu jest pełnowartościowe pyszne śniadanko

I would HIGHLY recommend to change matress as we got infested with bedbugs. Hope they wont come home with us :)

Reviewed May 30, 2026La cosa che io e la mia amica abbiamo gradito di più in assoluto è stata la grande disponibilità di Fabio, super gentile e accogliente, sempre pronto a dispensare consigli sulla città anche via whatsapp. Molto gentile anche il resto dello staff.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Fabio hat bereits mit mir im Vorfeld kommuniziert und wichtige Informationen gegeben! Er hat u.a. Ein günstiges Taxi organisiert! Früher Checkin war bereits kostenfrei um 11:00 Uhr möglich! Fabio gab uns wertvolle Tipps über die Stadt! Frühstück war günstig und sehr gut! Wir hatten 2 Apartements, beide hatten sehr große Balkone! V.a. die Aussicht auf die Kathedrale war herrlich! Im Apartement gab es sehr große Kühlschränke! Die Lage ist sehr zentral, alles fußläufig erreichbar! Es war sehr ruhig in der Nacht, wir hatten super geschlafen! Gerne wieder!

Reviewed May 25, 2026Bezpośredni i szybki kontakt z managerem na WhatsUp praktycznie non stop. Fajna lokalizacja w kilka minut można dojść do większości atrakcji. Pyszna kawa, smaczne acz podstawowe śniadania.
Mało miejsca na odłożenie rzeczy (pułki, szafki) szczególnie w łazienkach. Na śniadanie brakowało odrobiny warzyw (pomidor, ogórek, sałata).

Reviewed May 16, 2026Excellent location in terms of close to areas we wanted to explore yet off the main tourist streets so feels more like a neighbourhood. Lovely streets to wander down nearby and fantastic views from the room balcony. Breakfast was fine. Quite a good selection including fresh fruit. Felt very safe and secure.
There is a noisy bar opposite and quite a lot of noise when sleeping however this is not the fault of the owner who went out of his way to communicate with us and be helpful throughout our stay.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Die Lage ist perfekt,wir konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen.Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Fabio hat uns per Videocall mit dem Auto zu einem freien Parkplatz nahe der Wohnung manövriert.Das war nicht so einfach.Aber Alle sehr hilfsbereit.
Es war in der Nacht oft laut und wie in Palermo leider üblich sehr unsauber auf der Straße.

Reviewed May 14, 2026La ubicación estrategica, cerca de.la catedral, la amabilidad del gerente el cual nos guió por telefono hasta el hotel, nos recibió y nos ofreció bastante información, muy atento y disponible. El desayuno bien, con productos del Mulino Bianco, yoghurt, frutas y embutidos. El cuarto muy limpio, esencial, la cama comoda.
El espacio de la regadera es minusculo.
