Beautiful location
Comfy room and clean. Pat the host was top class, very welcoming and and a great laugh. Will be back.
Nothing..was a great stay
Staff were amazing 😁
Everything was great. When I told Pat I was on the early ferry he said he would do a small breakfast and drive me down to the terminal. Breakfast is normally too late. The room was good with kettle for tea/coffee and biscuits.
Nothing. No faults.
We had a great stay at the Dolphin hotel. We really felt welcome there. We will be bsck

We liked everything, pat was a great host, collected us from ferry and was so friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous couple of days
Nothing to dislike. Wish we had stayed longer
A very clean hotel - excellent views from the bar - very quiet location - lovely loop walks beside the hotel. Pat was very helpful with collecting us from the boat and dropping our luggage to the boat..

Dolphin Hotel is an example of Irish hospiltality at its' very best. The proprietor, Pat, is both a gentleman and a rogue in equal measure, whose magnificent personality encapsulates the warmth and humour of this wonderful little island.Anneka was an absolute lady, who ran an extremely tight ship and was super efficent and friendly. She gave us a great insight into life on the island and local produce and enterprises. The rooms are super cosy, beautiful hot shower and the bar is great overlooking incredible scenery. Breakfast was delicious and the bar offered a great array of choice. We can't wait to go back! Well done to all at the Dolphin and we will be recommending your great selves to all our fellow Corkonians and anyone we know heading to Inishbofin! Thanks a million.
Everything was super!
Lovely location. Owner very friendly and helpful. Lady serving breakfast was lovely and very efficient. Bedroom was clean and comfortable.
The place needs a wee bit of money spent on it. Is a bit shabby. When I seen it was a hotel I assumed there would be food available, there wasn't which was very disappointing. There is a bar but its in the dining room. Not a particularly comfortable place to hang out. When I read there was a bar I envisaged a nice comfortable place to hangout and have a few glasses of wine. For these reasons it's basically just a room to stay in,if it was what I think of when I see hotel I'd spend more time there relaxing and eating. This definitely affects the atmosphere in the place. Which is a shame because it could be so much more
Thevwelcome from Pat is second to none. The location and view are exceptional.

Location and staff
Rooms could be updated. Carpet old and worn.
In a great location with a lovely garden area outside the room. The room was spacious and the shower had good pressure. We had a lovely breakfast and staff were very friendly. It was also great to get picked up and dropped off at the ferry port.
Staff were excellent.
Location. Very quiet but just 10 minutes walk to Pier and s. Our host Pat was very friendly
Rooms were very basic and poorly furnished. Shower looked dingy. Towels were faded and scratchy. Bed was not comfortable. Bar was very quiet and had no atmosphere
Firstly Pat was a pure gentleman , all the staff were fabulous. It was spotless and the breakfast was yummy. Highly recommend
Everything it was perfect
Great location, clean and quiet

Nice location big room
Pricy and no more restaurant at location
This wonderfully located hotel is on a very small Island called Inishbofin, only accessible by boat from Clifden, as walk on passengers. The 2 blue flag beaches on the east of the island were amazing, the Atlantic ocean is the nicest sea to swim in especially at this time of year. We were collected from the ferry by Pat who owns and runs the Dolphin Hotel, we had a great craic in the Beach bar at supper time, listening to live Irish folk music and drinking guinness with good tradition food. We had supper the next evening on top of an old red London bus. Our luggage was dropped at the ferry for us, so we didn't have to carry it down the road, and could enjoy a farewell pint in the beach bar before leaving. It was so nice we extended our stay.
Nothing.
Friendly and helpful staff
Our stay was the best part of our trip in Ireland. The host Pat and his staff were fantastic!
Pat, host was terrific - collected & dropped us to ferry, gave us some slabs maps & all the advice needed for a great stay
Pity we were off peak as bar at Pat’s was closed!
Pat was an amazing host...a pure honest gent.
We should of stayed longer.

Friendly staff
Taxi from boat with Pat . Breakfast was good, efficient service and pleasant waiter.
The crossing on the ferry and the weather 🌦️
Excellent stay with Dolphin, Pat and the rest of the staff are excellent hosts. Free lift to and from the ferry, luggage handled for us, good breakfast and Pat even dropped us off at the pub one evening. Service really goes above and beyond here. The room was also very comfortable, exactly as described

It's a family run hotel, well located and comfortable. The owner and all the staff were really friendly. The owner met us at the pier and drove us back to the hotel. The breakfast room is lovely and spacious, the breakfast itself is very good. The views from the bedroom are beautiful. We booked a double room but were actually looking for a twin room. The owner was very kind to give us a family room with a double and a single bed.

breakfast was perfect; staff were very friendly and helpful. went out of their way to give us food after we missed dinner and kitchen was closed. Owner was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the area . would recommend The Dolphin
the room was lovely and clean but there was a slight smell like damp. But there was no sign of dampness ; the bed was perfect; sheets , towels etc clean and fresh.
Pat collected us from the ferry as arranged and brought us to the hotel, telling us about the places to eat and to visit along the way. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked by Pat and served by the wonderful Annika. The bed was so comfortable, it made for perfect sleep. The bar is open in the evening, for a leisurely drink. The Beach Bar, Murray's Bar served food in the evening and the Galley restaurant and Inishwallah (the bus) serve delicious food during the day. Hubby & I will gladly return to enjoy the charm of Inishbofin
there is nothing to dislike in the Dolphin Hotel
Location, everything was fresh & clean and the rooms were generous in size with comfortable beds. They served a fabulous breakfast, Plus it has a proper bar serving draft beer.
I would've loved to experience dinner when it had been served at one time.
Very friendly staff, great service. Like a home away from home.
It was all good.
Very friendly and helpful staff, large comfortable room
Limited breakfast choices
Great friendly staff. Spacious room. Beautiful surroundings.
Everything, The second you get off the boat , there he is , the main man Pat , anything you need , he's there to help whether it be for food , directions or craic , the man's got it , this trip is only the beginning, I will be back very soon
Everything!
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely location and facilities

The Dolphin was great. Pat made us feel really welcome, he convinced us to go for a swim in the East Beach which was a highlight of the trip. Great breakfast and picked up / dropped off our bags. Will be back again for their half marathon.
I love this place. Coming back every year we always experience magical time. Pat is absolutely great, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very welcoming and clean, the view is amazing, and the staff is very nice and professional. I appreciate, that they use natural detergent and cosmetics for guests showing care for the environment. Ps. Thanks to the comfy beds and sounds of the island we had the best quality sleep:D
Loved Pat and all the staff. Breakfast was great and Pat helped us with anything we needed. Bofin is such a special place.
We had an amazing stay at the Dolphin Hotel. The room was impeccably clean & provided beautiful views. Both Pat & Anneka were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay unforgettable. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast & service provided by Anneka. The owner Pat went above & beyond to ensure our stay was perfection. The hotel's location is also perfect, within easy walking distance of many attractions. I highly recommend the Dolphin Hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
Everything was perfection.

Dolphin Hotel is a great spot to stay on Inisbofin. We had a lovely time here and would highly recommend. It's a short walk from the pier and a shuttle bus is available too. The rooms are very spacious, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was nice. Pat is such a welcoming host!
An upgraded shower would give this a 10/10
