Kasbah Tiziri

Kasbah Tiziri was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. The property is absolutely beautiful, and it is clear that Michelle and her partner have put tremendous care and passion into restoring this traditional kasbah into a stunning Moroccan-style retreat. Michelle, originally from Canada, is an exceptional host. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. Her hospitality, kindness, and local knowledge greatly enhanced our stay. She even helped us navigate an issue with our rental car company, which wanted to exchange our vehicle despite there was absolutely no problem with it. Her support was invaluable and gave us great peace of mind. Michelle also arranged a wonderful rose-picking experience at a local farm, which turned out to be one of the most memorable activities of our trip. It gave us a unique opportunity to experience local culture and traditions firsthand. The meals were delicious, featuring authentic homemade Moroccan cooking for both dinner and breakfast. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Most importantly, my wife and I felt completely safe, relaxed, and at home during our time (April 27-April 28) at Kasbah Tiziri. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this special place to anyone visiting Morocco. Thank you, Michelle and the entire Kasbah Tiziri team, for an unforgettable experience!

La Kasbah dont la rénovation est impressionnante par sa qualité de finition. La chambre bien que sombre était plus belle que sur le photos. La gentillesse de la propriétaire et du personnel, et les bons conseils pour découvrir la région. Le toit pour admirer le paysage et le lever de soleil (pas de coucher visible depuis la Kasbah) Le principe de boissons fraîches, café et thé mises à disposition avec paiement dans une cagnotte solidaire

Dommage que le bassin n'était pas ouvert, nous avions choisit ce logement car il proposait un point d'eau. Nous avons dîner le premier soir, c'était très bon mais comme partout au Maroc, trop copieux et malheureusement comme souvent menu unique.

Ein wunderbares Haus mit Liebe zum Detail. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die für uns lecker gekocht und uns gute Tipps für die Region gegeben haben. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr gepflegte und mit viel Liebe renovierte Unterkunft. Ein perfekter stop auf dem Weg von Marrakesch nach Merzouga. Es gibt einen schönen Garten mit kleinen Schildkröten und eine Dachterrasse, von der aus man die Aussicht, Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang oder die Sterne beobachten kann. Das Essen war sehr gut sowohl am Abend als auch am Morgen. Die Zimmer waren sehr gepflegt, angenehm kühl und die Betten sehr komfortabel. Die Inhaberin hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen und einiges über das Gebäude und darüberhinaus über Marokko erzählt. Wir waren als Familie sehr zufrieden und können einen Aufenthalt dort wärmstens empfehlen

Es un antiguo y precioso kasbah rehabilitado por su dueña canadiense Michelle. Sólo por conocerla y por su hospitalidad merece la pena visitarlo. Al llegar te ofrecen dátiles y frutos secos en el cuidado jardín que tiene donde hay hasta erizos y tortugas. El atardecer en la terraza es espectacular. Y la cena muy casera y en un salón muy familiar y agradable.

Michelle is very welcoming and has many interesting knowledge of the area and of her own life adventures. The building has been beautifully restored and looks amazing for 260+ years old. We only stayed for one night on our African birdwatching adventure but would have loved to stay longer The staff were responsive, food was delicious and the room was so cool

Magnifique Kasbah

The kasbah has been beautifully renovated, with lovely rooms and garden. Hospitality is excellent. Breakfasts and dinners are good, with a more imaginative approach to Moroccan cuisine than some places. It was very peaceful after the bustle of Marrakech!

Nothing. Just bear in mind that it's high up so cold in winter - bring an extra layer or two if visiting at that time of year!

La Kasbah è meravigliosa, di recente ristrutturazione, camere belle e spaziose, molto pulite. Michelle ci ha accolto con un buon tè, ha preparato una buonissima cena. La colazione top! Ottima posizione per una tappa del viaggio verso il deserto.

Hele luxe smaakvolle gerenoveerde Kasbah met mooie tuin. Goede kamers en heerlijke bedden. Hartelijke ontvangst met thee en lekkernijen door de zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Mooie eetzaal waar een lekker diner geserveerd werd. Kortom een echte aanrader om hier een paar nachtjes door te brengen.

Absolut wundervoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail restaurierte Kasbah! Die Aussicht von der obersten Terrasse ist traumhaft, der Garten mit dem Vogelgezwitscher eine Idylle, das Essen sehr schmackhaft und die Zeit, die einem Michelle und Houcine widmen, Gold wert. Ein kleines Paradies, für das man unbedingt genug Zeit einrechnen sollte!

Das Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, aber ich persönlich hätte noch eine Lampe zusätzlich benötigt für mehr Licht.

Kasbah Tiziri is a stunning palace, immaculately restored and full of beautiful detail in every corner. Michele and Houine are the most gracious hosts who care a lot about the place and ensure their guests are treated like royalty. I loved every part of it!

I wish I had stayed longer!

Magnífico alojamiento y estupenda atención por parte de Michelle y su equipo. Todo muy bien, estancia, cena, desayuno, etc. Excelentes vistas durante la puesta y salida del Sol. Absolutamente recomendable.

Quel endroit magnifique C'est un véritable Havre de paix Un écrin dans cette région On est loin de penser, avant d'y arriver, que nous allons penetrer dans une maison aussi bien restaurée, avec beaucoup de goût. Michelle nous accueille avec son accent canadien si chaleureux On se sent chez soi L intérieur du riad est un véritable bijoux avec des objets deniches par la maîtresse des lieux, qui nous fait nous arrêter devant chacun d eux. La chambre triple est très grande Très joliment décorée et équipée. La salle de bain au style ancien est belle également. Que dire des espaces verts si rafraîchissant sous la chaleur accablante. S y poser après le dîner avec un thé est un véritable bonheur. Le repas concocté par Michelle est délicieux. Le petit déjeuner est exquis et très copieux. Le clou du spectacle se passe sur la terrasse, au lever du soleil. La vue sur la vallée est fantastique. Pour finir ce riad est à découvrir sur la route entre Ouarzazate et le Sahara Proche de Kelaa m Gouna, on ne regrette pas cette étape.

Nous regrettons 2 choses Premièrement arriver au riad plus tôt dans l après midi pour profiter du lieu et de son bassin rafraîchissant Et ne pas y être resté 2 nuits

Beautifully restored original kasbah with stunning views over the valley. Michelle the co-owner of the place is so kind, welcoming and gracious, and a pleasure to conversate with. She even packed us muffins for the road :)

A couple of more comfortable chairs on the roof top would be great to enjoy the sweeping views :)

Everything was perfect. The place is breathtaking. 250-year-old restored Kasbah that can meet expectations of the most demanding guests. And the owner is very kind and friendly.

Staying at Kazbah Tiziri is nothing short of amazing. I don't think the pictures do it justice, it's just so strikingly beautiful. Besides the impressive architecture and details, the room were luxurious and large, the breakfast was amazing and we ended up having dinner at the Kazbah multiple times during our stay as well since it was wonderful. Also, the beautiful garden made for a nice escape from the heat. Would definitely book again if we return to Morocco.

De gastvrijheid, vriendelijkheid en de wondermooie kasbah maakten ons verblijf tot een onvergetelijke ervaring. Alle luxe is aanwezig. Gezellig was ook dat er bij aankomst thee geserveerd wordt en er ruimte is voor een aangename babbel. Het ontbijt en diner waren ook zeer lekker.

Persoonlijk zou ik wat meer aandacht besteden aan het diner. Het eten zelf is zeer lekker maar de verschillende gangen worden in zo'n snel tempo geserveerd dat de ervaring ervan een beetje verloren gaat.

The breakfast and dinner were very special. Multiple amazing courses of local Moroccan dishes. The rooms were absolutely spectacular. The view from the top might be the most amazing part though especially during the sunrise.

Kasbah Tiziri is a true labor of love. An amazing place where the owners treat you like good old friends. The attention to detail and unique taste were evident in every corner. We can't wait to return.

Our family has been traveling for 5 months and staying here felt like a real treat! Wish we had booked longer. Hosts are friendly and kind, meals were delicious and very generous. There are a lot of options in the area to stay, but we felt like we really lucked out staying here!

Kasbah Tiziri is a wonderful place to stay- the hosts are incredibly welcoming, the kasbah is beautiful and has an extraordinary view from the roof, and if you happen to love geology there is even an excellent rock collection!

The host was super friendly. Also the kasbah is quite beautiful! Breakfast and dinner were nice too!

We were traveling in the offseason and the room was a bit cold when we arrived. However they have warm blankets so it’s not a problem. Also the amount of warm water you have to take a shower is quite limited. While my buddy could take a hot one, when it was my turn there was only cold water left.
