Solid 10/10 recommendation! The owner, Mr. Deepak Ji, is extremely humble and a wonderful person to talk to—you can learn so much about Banaras and its rich traditions just by speaking with him. The support staff, Munna Bhaiya, truly go above and beyond and exceed all expectations. I was traveling with my 60-year-old bua, and she had reached a point where she couldn’t have Banarasi chaat anymore. The owner’s wife thoughtfully took the effort to prepare a special breakfast for her, which meant a lot to us. I genuinely felt at home here—the vibe is warm, welcoming, and comforting. Without any doubt, I would highly recommend this place to all kinds of travelers.

No paper towels or towels in rest rooms although owner was responsive to requests.

Ideal location for visiting the Vishwanath Temple and historic Ganga ghat. The room is a bit small, but that’s understandable given the prime location in Varanasi. The owner provides useful information. Overall, a good stay!

Since we stayed for three nights, we have a suggestion. The bed is too soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep and causing back pain. Please consider installing a standard bed set for better comfort.

walking distance from Kashi Vishwanath temple and Ghat. Food not provided, but lot of food joints near by. Dipak ji was very helpful for guiding and arranging the transport when needed for us.

breakfast facility could be added, as we visited during the maha kumbh, there were a lot of vehicle restrictions, had to walk sometimes or get a toto if we are lucky. otherwise it may be accessible by vehicle although lanes are very narrow

I booked this for a friend and he mentioned the Vrinda Garden had a very good owner. Staff were friendly and the guesthouse had a home-like atmosphere. Everything was clean and very good, he said.

The room was clean, the shower was warm and had good pressure. The room had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, good shower and an electric kettle. Deepak and his family were so lovely and helpful. They helped us with everything we needed like getting a tuk tuk to our bus for Delhi and we drank the best chai with them. We hope to go back and stay longer!

The property and room itself was fine, as in pictures. The owners and staff were kind and did their best.

The location, behind a mall on a very busy street, was difficult to get to; extremely congested, and equally noisy at all hours. Tuk Tuk driver refused to take me there, I had to walk with all my luggage the last 3 blocks due to congestion. Much better to stay closer to River if you can.

Behavior of the owner was excellent. Excellent hospitality. No hastle was faced during check-in and check-out. The breakfast was tasty and hygienic. Received food(BF) and tea whenever requested. Distance from Dasaswamedh ghat and Viswanath temple was within 1 KM. Since it is located little away from main road, there was no noise. Rooms and toilets were neat and clean. Ideal homely stay for a couple and family. Opportunity for improvement: Facility of dinner. More staff (1/2).

5/5 I had the pleasure of staying at Vrinda Garden Stay recently, and I must say it was a wonderful experience! This charming property is nestled in a beautiful garden, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of Varanasi chaos.. The room was decent, clean, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities. The garden - lush, green, and meticulously maintained. I spent some slow morning breakfast hours relaxing in the garden, reading, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The food served at Vrinda Garden Stay was homely and delicious.Rukmin aunty prepared us some food with love and care, and the flavors were authentic and mouthwatering. I felt like I was eating at my own home! The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive to my needs. They made sure I had a comfortable stay and were always available to help. Overall, I highly recommend Vrinda Garden Stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, homely, and relaxing getaway. We had booked our room for 6 nights and had communicated in advance that our check-in would be next day in the morning, which was confirmed by the property management. As we arrived, we found that some other guest was occupying our room and we had to stay at another room on the property for few hours, till our room was vacated. The management refused to accept their fault, telling us that at least they were providing us a room and they didn't allow late check-ins (which they had earlier confirmed over a message on booking.com that it was not going to be an issue). Everything else was fine, especially the food, which was exceptional. We were later charged for 5.5 days rather than 6 days, so they kind of accepted their fault but this shady behaviour of overbooking left a bitter taste in the mouth.

1. I found a foul smell in the room, i could not bear it. 2. I booked it for one day but left in few hours, it might be just my experience but i feel i wasted my money

The cleanest and prettiest room I’ve stayed in India in many months. It looks exactly like in the photos. And the owners are lovely.

The only thing was that getting to the ghats from the property we had to cross a very busy area, which was tiring. Other than that, all was great.

Lovely hotel located in a quiet area. The room was big and very clean and the owners so welcoming and generous. They even wait for us when we had to check in very late at 1.30 am and they let us stay at their home after we checked out. We can only recommend this place for a few days in Varanasi.

Behaviour of owner and his family was great.

Pros: Well mannered and humble property owner. Mr & Mrs Jaiswal were courteous during our stay and kids enjoyed their home made Shikanjee. It was like a home away from home. This is in the vicinity of the Temple area which is at 15 minutes walkable distance.It was a sweet and memorable experience in Varanasi.

We enjoyed our stay at Vrinda Garden. It is set in a back street away from the traffic, and a short tuk tuk ride to the Ghats. This property is very clean and freshly painted with new air conditioner, a very comfortable bed, and one of the best showers we have had on our travels in India. There is no restaurant here, but there are choices within walking distance. The owners were very nice and offered us chai each morning.

The main attraction of the place is closeness to Viswanath Temple and Dashaswamed Ghat. The famous Varanasi eateries, saree, souvenir shops all within walking distances - ideal for someone planning a short Varanasi visit.

Noisy, in a congested location. Except the front room others lack daylight. However this may be a common problem to houses in such location.

A newly constructed room, neat and clean bed. Well behaved owner couple. Will not forget the Masala tea prepared and served by the owner lady. Must visit. Near the temple area so location is also ok and free from noise.

Rooms is about to completion phase, hence no comments on this issue.

It's a pretty homestay with a little garden in the property. It is near to main Godwalia chowk and market and one can easily reach main Kashi Vishwanath temple on foot from here. The host were sweet and helpful. Both uncle and aunty were generous and humble. Overall it was a good stay, just felt like home!

Regardig this property, I liked the garden and proximity to all tourist places. Its very rare to find property with garden in such congested city. It was a wonderful stay and host (Deepak) was very helpful and guided us with boat ride and famous eateries. Such short trip isn't enough for city like varanasi. We certainly will be coming back with our group. Thanks for making our trip memorable thanks for home cooked food.
