Su ubicación y el personal muy amable
Instalaciones viejas y no estaba limpio
Nice and cozy. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as accommodating as possible. They went way beyond what was expected of them. It made them feel more like family than staff.
While I didn't mind the dogs they had, my friend found them rather scary 😂
The host was really lovely, showed us around the neighborhood, there were wild peacocks in the fields nearby. The location is pretty close to Dambulla cave temple, 20 min walking distance.
Very natural environment, will see ants and mosquitoes in the room. Don't bother them and they will leave you on your own.
Owner is verry friendly and House is verry clean and comfortable.Facilities are verry good, location is verry beautiful and I gave it 10/10 marks. Verry Good 😍💖
The host was very nice and welcoming. We got some tea. The breakfast was very nice. Quiet location.
The room smelled like mold a lot and the pillows were moldy and the room was also not the cleanest. The location was close to the Golden temple but far from everything else. Only cold water in the shower which was fine by me
Staff is friendly and foods are delicious
Lovely hosts! Couldn't have asked for a nicer time. We stayed four nights in the end partly because we enjoyed their company so much. Humble accommodation. Big breakfasts as well. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed, such a kind family.
The fan was a little dusty.
Gastvrije mensen. Prijs is laag.

Lovely homestay with an exceptionally friendly family. I was able to arrange tours to all the major sights with them and they also took me to some lesser known spots. The cooking class was excellent as were all the meals.
The family behind the business is super sweet and helpful. The fact that we were so close to Cave Temple was amazing!
The manager is more friedly
No soap like important basic things to be kept in the wash room
I feel like true member of the family not as a guest. Loved the couple running the homestay and their daughter. They are very honest people. I happened to "stuck" in Dambulla for the New Years day without the public transportation, but I was offered by Taraka lift to Sigyria for a more than fair price. He also took me to his wife's family close to Pidarangula and I had lovely meal in their restaurant. Than we went for a bath in a nearby lake. And we finished the night with him and his friend with bottle of whiskey on upper floor balcony. If you want to support honest lovely people and have true experience of Sri Lankan household, go to their place!
A wonderful family owned accomodation in walking distance to the Dambulla Cave Temple. The owners, a young couple, where very helpful and kind. They also took us to Kandy for a reasonable price.
It's a really good family. I had a great time this family. Their food is delicious and reasonably priced. They also have facilities for those who want to join the cooking class. Tharaka and Lakmali are very kind. I had a lot of new experiences. They have a car so they can arrange transportation at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place for your vacation.👍👍👍
The hosts --incl their 4 yr old daughter-- are sooo sweet. We played, we explored, we ate well. We loved our time so much that we stayed an extra day. Our host offered his services as driver at a reasonable rate (5000rupees) to go to Pidurangala Rock, stopping to see other sites on the way (incl spice garden) and introducing us to a hot vegetable tea-- yum! He helped us to organize a private safari with a very sweet driver who helped us to spot maaany elephants (22,000rupees for 2). They offered us tea multiple times and even offered us a fresh picked soursop from the garden. The room was also very comfortable (incl a comfortable bed long enough for us!) and a private bathroom. Dinner was 1000rupees per person and had 5 varieties of really delicious curries, incl young jackfruit curry from their garden. Sooo good. Tip: if you need to cool off in the afternoon, go to Sundaras Poolbar (9 min walk) and check out the sunset from Dahaiya kanda (18 min walk). Definitely stay here and I will again for sure if I'm back in the area.
Nice and friendly owner, offers tour to Lion rock and Pidurangala rock, helps with advices.
This is an honest home providing a simple room and bathroom -with a sweet garden and gorgeous dog Blackie .It is owned and run by the loveliest couple -kind generous helpful who could not have done more .a delicious meal was cooked for us -and they were sweet and deserve to do well .if the budget allows indulge in a ayuravedic massage with the place round the corner -it was fantastic !you and also do cookery lessons at the house
Nothing! It is very basic -no frills and simple -but honest hospitality and lovely people
The host was so kind. He tooks us to the temple with his tuk tuk. The whole family was amazing and took good care of us even we just booked it for couple ours till visiting Dambulla.
.
Very kind family. Delicious rice & curry.
Really friendly family who looked after me well. The husband arranged for transporting me to Pidrungala for sunrise and Golden Temple on the way back in his tuktuk. Got a welcome coffee at check-in the previous night and breakfast after traveling to Pidrungala the next morning. Adorable dog owned by the family (Brownie) and an eager dog belonging to the neighbor (Toffee) also showed up. Great value for money.
Good location. Walking distance to the temple and the caves. Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Owner even offered me a tuk ride to the town.many fruit trees in the garden. Quite and calm environment.
Very nice, happy and friendly family. The house is located in a quiet countryside place but near to a Cave Temple, Golden Budda and Dambulla city if you want. We took a cooking class and it was an amazing experience and a tasty dinner :) The owner has a tuktuk, and it is very comfortable to get rides with him.
Place is beautiful and outside the city inside the nature. The family is very lovely and helpful and the food is very taste!
Hospitality
Hot water was not available
The owners of this property are so helpful and lovable
The family was super kind and places was clean
The familiar atmosphere. They are ready to help for any need, so kind and caring. We also had a cooking class and the food was delicious!
I will recommend this homestay because the most important is how they are! It’s running by a charming and lovely family: a young couple with a little daughter. They help you with everything, they are so kind and helpful. He drives a TukTuk so you will have transport for a very good price and he can be your guide too! The room is very big and they provide you towels, and hot water. You have a nice and small terrace there and if you need you can keep some food in their fridge. It’s a nice and quiet place to stay out of the noises of the city and close (1km far) to Dambulla temple. Don’t hesitate and book a room here, live with a local nice family!
Lack of cleaning You can find cockroaches, mosquitoes and plenty of ants
It's was great experience taste srilankan food and sunrise
