Die Lage wesentlich weiter vom Zentrum und unawatuna beach entfernt als angegeben. Zu Fuß nur entlang der sehr lauten Haupverkehrstraße möglich, ca 3 km. Über booking angegebener Standort stimmt nicht.

It’s great and friendly staff and their big pool

Sehr familiäres, kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück sehr gut.

Poolanlage könnte schöner gestaltet sein.

Les propriétaires étaient très avenant et agréable, la villa était propre et bien entretenu, bon rapport qualité prix. Bien placé avec une piscine.

Fantastisk vært og Fantastisk beliggenhed! Der er god valuta for pengene. Helt fin morgenmad også. Vi var der off-season.

Excellent place, Excellent owners they were very friendly and helpful always called and checked on us, being very much collaborative even though it was last min booking, the owner offered free pick up and drop to nearest bus or trian station, run by family , best home away home with very supportive n helpful

Nothing as such

Despite making a last minute booking we were welcomed beautifully. Though all their staff were on leave for the festive season. The owners did their best to make it feel our home away from home. From room amenities to the wonderful breakfast. I will definitely recommend it to anyone (already have)

The room we had was off the kitchen. Lack of nearby restaurants.

Breakfast was OK, fruit, toast and eggs.

1. Plug socket on wall by door sparked when I tried to use. 2. Balcony door was a nightmare to open, close and lock. I couldn't fully close and lock the balcony door. 3. One wall light in room that was too dim to read by. 4. Chair on balcony was extremely worn and looked like it would collapse. 5. Ceiling fan was very noisy (I prefer a fan to AC) but couldn't sleep with the fan on. 6. Pool was dirty with insects and leaves in it. 7. The floor in the room needed cleaning. 8. Electrical point and light switch located inside bath room. 9. Couldn't lock the door from the inside. But there was a small sliding lock to use.

We had a great stay! Great room size, super friendly and welcoming hosts too. We were able to come back and shower before a long flight which was a real blessing too.

Expensive and loo is not good

Very helpful service and people who were taking care of us, checking if all is good, preparing breakfast and making sure we feel comfortable.

Aurella villa was a beautifully family run guest house. The owners and staff were more than generous and welcoming. I stayed with them for 1 weeks and the hospitality shown was outstanding. Highly recommended 🙏

This property is quite close to Turtle beach which is quite nice. Imesh was a very attentive host who was very intuitive when there was a misunderstanding during our stay. Imesh went out of his way to get us dinner and make us tea and ultimately was the only redeeming quality about this stay.

Unfortunately there were a number of things I found quite poor about this place. Firstly, the room we booked is falsely advertised - the owner used photos of the superior room for the deluxe double room but when we arrived he put us in a shabby room not at all like the photos. The owner was not at all present at the property so I had to alert him of this over the phone. When I called him out on this mishap he was very rude and interrupted me multiple times, and tried to extort me into paying extra for a room I had already booked online after being tricked by his false advertisement of the room. Additionally, the room was ill prepared for our arrival; we had to ask for a blanket, water and also tea which was meant to be included as detailed in the description. What wasn’t added in the description is that the room has NO HOT WATER. Furthermore the pool was dirty for our entire stay. I definitely would not recommend this stay as the owner is impertinent and the facilities need a lot of work.
