Great hotel by the beach with great facilities and good food, particularly a stunning breakfast.

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Zu beachten ist allerdings, dass nur zwei Zimmer einen schönen Ausblick haben. Die gesamte Anlage und der Strand sind sehr schön, gepflegt und sauber. Der Strand ist wunderschön und direkt nebenan kann man sogar Schildkröten beobachten – ein besonderes Highlight! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Sujith, der uns sehr herzlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthalts wunderbar begleitet hat. Auch der Barista war super und hat sehr guten Kaffee zubereitet – das haben wir besonders genossen. ☕️

Ein paar Minuspunkt war die Dame an der Rezeption beim Empfang – hier hätten wir uns mehr Freundlichkeit gewünscht.

Einer der auussergewöhlichsten und besonderen Aufenthalte, die ich je erlebt habe. Das Personal war jederzeit für alle Wünsche und Bedürfnisse offen und hat den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht. BOHOMA STHUTHI 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❣️❣️❣️

Location at the beach, spacious room & bathroom, lankan breakfast option.

Seems to be more like a beach club than a hotel. Staff doesn't really pay much attention to the guests. Very few guests - much more staff, but still you have to wait till anyone shows up to collect an order. A lot of fancy things and rich branding, are not along with the high professionalism of hotel staff. Food in the restaurant is rather typical for a beach club more than a hotel restaurant. Very soft mattresses.

Angel Beach has a party culture swimmingpool,bar. It's near the sea, so you can access a personal beach. Even Dalawella Beach is at walking distance, and it's a really nice location.

There is one problem: we booked a Deluxe room, which appeared larger on Booking.com, but we received a standard double room. When I complained, they said it was a Deluxe room, but the photo shows a standard room. I felt scammed. I don't know whether Booking.com displayed the wrong information or what, and Booking.com showed a tumble dryer in the room, but there was nothing like that.

Ambience & Vibe: Great overall atmosphere right at the beach, featuring a nice swing and a fancy pool perfect for late-night lounging and poolside dining. Rooms & Staff: The room was nice and tidy, and the staff thoughtfully accommodated your toddler by providing a full-sized single bed instead of a standard cot upon request. Food Quality: The food was enjoyable overall.

AC Inefficiency: The air conditioner was underpowered for the room size, failing to keep the large bathroom, cupboard area, and entire room properly cooled during the summer heat. Dining Disappointment: The buffet breakfast was missing due to low occupancy, which was a downside. Inconvenient Water Policy: The hotel only provided small water bottles that required constant staff requests for refills, backed by the threat of a hefty penalty for misplacing them. luckily in our case we found the missing one behind the bed which my daughter threw just for fun lol

Room was clean, spacious room and bathroom. Had all the amnesties. The staff was friendly and helpful.

More of a club vibe; the music was playing all day. A tad bit softer would have been okay. Meals preferences was limited. Having said that the pizza’s were yummy.

Le personnel etait exceptionnel, ils étaient tous très sympa avec nous, les chambre sont propres et très confortable. Le petit déjeuner et l’un des meilleur petit déjeuner que nous avons eu durant notre séjour au srilanka. Nous avons séjourner 3 nuits en mi juillet donc hors saison et cela était vraiment agréable il n’y avait pas beaucoup de monde dans le beach.

L’hôtel rest un peu loin du centre de Unawatuna à pied mais en tuktuk c’est 5-6 minutes

The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway.

Советую прочитать всем!! Начну с того, что концепция отеля это Beach Club, забудьте про приватность ведь её не будет,если вам хочется тишины ,то ее тоже не будет,целый день играет музыка, а по выходным, вечеринки с очень громкой музыкой ,поэтому если вы хотите лечь спать до полуночи,забудьте!!!! Каждый день ты видишь много незнакомых людей на территории которые приходят просто с улицы заплатив по 1000 рупий за вход, и все правила будто построены вокруг этих гостей , потому что нам запрещали есть свою еду на территории отеля, даже фрукты которые мы купили и хотели съесть на лежаках ,нам запретили, все потому что такое правило, они же не разрешают людям которые приходят на день ,приносить еду с собой, но мы не понимаем как это правило касается гостей которые живут в этом отеле , по моему мнению бы не обязаны все заказывать с их ресторана! А еще в номере находится тяжело ,потому что в них нет окон! Это скорее не отель, а Beach Club с возможностью переночевать! Поэтому судите сами.

The location was excellent, right on the beach with a lovely pool. The staff were very accommodating and provided excellent service. The food was very tasty. The bed was extremely comfortable.

We couldn't figure out how to warm up the shower so had cold showers every day, but this was a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things!

This boutique hotel was fabulous the rooms were super cool and very spacious. The beach club location meant that there was a great vibe with pool and beach and great food and drinks. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The hotel is right on the beach and a 10 minute walk along the beach to the left were sea turtles. It is a 15 minute walk in to unawatuna town or a short Tuk Tuk ride. The breakfast was exceptional. So much food and delicious. Would absolutely stay here again. The housekeeper Sahan made awesome towel animals that the children loved. The rooms are super clean, have all the amenities you need and dressing gowns etc.

Amazing staff very cooperative. Location and property itself was really nice We went for our wedding anniversary, they surprised us with the small cake (such a great gesture) and we had candle light dinner at the beach, all arranged by the staff. But we had AC problem in our room, had to change our room thrice. Otherwise, everything went well

Staff is very helpful, hotel and the rooms are clean and the location is just next to the ocean 10 minutes away from Galle City.

It was off season which meant it was calm vacation and we needed that, but due to heavy storms we couldn’t enjoy swimming like planned. There is nothing negative about the hotel and staff, we are super happy

Это не отель, это пляжный клуб. И это самое главное, что необходимо доносить до клиента. Там постоянно играет диджей, очень шумно. Территория крошечная, спрятаться от этого шума вообще негде. Есть только в номере. И да, самое ужасное. Все номера без окон!!)

Убрать дикую музыку, сделать тихий лаунж, придумать компенсацию за отсутствие окон. И везде написать, что это не отель. Это комнаты при пляжном клубе!

Когда отель был новым, думаю было круто. Отличную музыку включает диджей. Вкусные напитки. Стиль отеля. Красивый океан, но в нем действительно нельзя купаться, очень опасные волны, но смотреть одно удовольствие.

У меня украли кольцо, оно не было в сейфе и лежало в шкафу в коробочке от очков. Надеюсь оно принесет много счастья тому, кто это сделал, он сможет накормить свою семью, иначе не понимаю зачем так делать. Но люди должны знать, что такая ситуация возможна в этом отеле, при этом там работает куча охраны и обслуживающего персонала. Которые постоянно смотрят и обсуждают что-то. Неприятно…. Есть очень добрые сотрудники, но это пара человек. Ситуацию с кольцом никак не решили, ну это и очевидно. Не будут же они компенсировать мою потерю. Полотенца все дырявые и замученные.

Zimmer und das Hotel selbst sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Sehr stylisch und modern. Lediglich das Badezimmer könnte mal ein Makeover vertragen. Vom Beach Club hört man im Zimmer nichts. Der Strandabschnitt ist schön und mit dem Tuktuk ist man schnell in Unawatuna.

Einen grossen Schwachpunkt fanden wir das Personal. Obwohl nichts los war, kam 3 Stunden lang niemand an unserer Liege vorbei um zu fragen ob wir etwas möchten. Im Vergleich zu den Hotels in denen wir auf unserer Sri Lanka Reise waren, waren wir hier etwas enttäuscht. Die Beach Towels waren teils zerrissen und hatten Flecken. Wir fanden insgesamt das Hotel ok, würden es aber nicht mehr buchen

Prachtige locatie direct aan het strand met een ontspannen sfeer. De kamers waren schoon, comfortabel en sfeervol ingericht. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en het ontbijt was heerlijk met genoeg keuze. Ideale plek om tot rust te komen en te genieten van de omgeving.

Niet bij het centrum maar met de Tuktuk vlakbij

The rooms are great and the entire club is very clean. Sunbeds are reserved especially for hotel guests, so you don’t have to worry about not getting one because of day visitors. The music is cool and played at a pleasant volume, and sometimes there’s even a saxophonist, which is a real highlight. The rooms are located towards the back, so you barely hear the music. We only noticed a bit of bass one evening while falling asleep. The hotel is very child-friendly – the staff plays with the kids, and at breakfast they even made extra pancakes for the little ones. The pool is warm, which is great. The food overall was a 10/10 – sushi platters, pizza, everything was amazing. For our day trip, everything was perfectly organized, even including a breakfast to go. You can’t really swim in the sea, but you can watch turtles, which is a nice experience. We would love to come back – thank you for a wonderful stay!

The communication beforehand was a bit strange. There was contact via WhatsApp and Booking, and then we received a WhatsApp message saying we had to complete something via a link – according to Booking, we were not obligated to do so, so we didn’t. There were also some misunderstandings or forgotten arrangements. The reception staff is very polite and sweet, but unfortunately quite inexperienced in their job.

Lage direkt am Strand. Am Pool viele Betten zum Entspannen. Das Hotelpersonal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und entgegenkommend. Die Betten im Zimmer sind sehr bequem. Unser Zimmer (Nr. 03) war darüber hinaus sehr sauber. Hervorzuheben ist das Bad mit einer großen, begehbaren Dusche. Beim Frühstück kann aus drei Menüs gewählt werden (Full, Vegetarian u. Local). Auf Extrawünsche wird gerne eingegangen. Das Essen war durchgehend sehr gut. Es war für jeden etwas dabei - besonders empfehlenswert ist die Meeresfrüchteplatte. Unser Kind hat die Pancakes und den Pool geliebt. Wer zwischendurch arbeiten oder so im Internet surfen möchte, findet ein sehr gutes WLAN (Wifi). Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Für unser Zimmer hätten wir uns noch einen Ständer für nasse Badebekleidung und Handtücher gewünscht. Diese Anregung wurde vom Hotelpersonal gerne entgegengenommen. Der Safe im Zimmerschrank war leider nicht fest verbaut, diesen hätte man daher einfach so mitnehmen können.

Tolles Hotel mit Clubatmosphäre; das Hotel hat nur wenige Zimmern, es gibt aber viele Tagesgäste, die Liegen mieten; es gibt auch tagsüber einen DJ, der Musik abspielt; wir fanden das toll, ist aber sicherlich nicht jedermanns Sache; das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Strandabschnitt mit Liegen und Auflagen; der Pool ist ebenfalls toll; es gab 3 verschiedene Frühstücke zur Auswahl, alle waren sehr lecker; das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hat uns bei der Weiterreise sehr unterstützt

Seltsam fanden wir, dass wir eine Nacht über einen Link im Voraus bezahlen mussten; die Abbuchung von der Kreditkarte war nicht möglich; wir haben das dann auch mit Unbehagen gemacht, war aber alles in Ordnung; bei den Standardzimmern gibt es wohl sehr große Unterschiede bei der Zimmergröße; bei Booking.com waren 30 m² angegeben, das 1. Zimmer, das wir bekommen haben, hatte sicherlich max. 20 m²; ein Zimmerwechsel war dann aber mit Hilfe der sehr freundlichen Dame an der Rezeption kein Problem

Mega Location und Frühstück - sehr tolles Zimmer und Raumpflege - Sahin hat jeden Tag ein anderes Tier mit den Handtüchern gezaubert. Absolut geniales Frühstücken- jederzeit zu 100% empfehlenswert

Местоположението на хотела е добро. На първа линия си, но е доста бурно. Закуската е добра, но въпреки това предпочитам опцията шведска маса, защото половината от нещата не се изяждат и се изхвърлят. Персонала е много любезен и отзивчив. Препоръчвам!

Das Frühstück war hervorragend und abwechslungsreich. Die Anlage und die Innenräume sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Grosser Pool und die Nähe zum Strand haben uns gefallen. Das Personal und Management ist sehr aufmerksam.

We met with some Spiders, and littlle creatures during our stay in the bathroom, that was the minus, becouse kids get scared over that.

I spent four nights at this hotel in a beautiful sea-view room, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay truly comfortable. Although the location is a bit far from town, getting around by tuktuk is affordable and convenient. The beach is stunning, and the hotel is perfect if you’re looking for a great sea-view stay with a lively weekend party atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Доброго времени суток! Отель, конечно, для молодежи, так как играет классный ди-джей и это очень здорово, весело! Прекрасные завтраки, чисто и вкусно. В номере было очень чисто.

Есть нюансы, но они не значительные. На шри-Ланке мы проделали огромное путешествие с замечательным гидом, и после окончания тура решили переехать в этот отель из другого (который находился в 500 метров) и провести еще два дня. За сутки я договорилась с Ангел Бич, что нас перевезут из отеля в отель, это рядом и не составляет труда, в итоге мы прождали 45 минут на ресепшен и сами на 4-х тук туках добирались до отеля, это было не очень удобно (мне отвечали ждите, ждите). В номере не было окон, мне так не нравится, не понимаешь что происходит на улице темно или светло. В номере было очень чисто, но! Очень сильно пахло канализацией, я не знаю, может это нормально в этом городе, но говорю, как есть. И еще один момент, отель молодежный, почему разрешают приходить в бассейн из других отелей с маленькими детьми? Может это сейчас, так как на Шри-Ланке кризис и народу очень мало из-за обстановки в мире.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück absolut fantastisch, das Essen und die Getränke wunderbar. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit einiger Mitarbeiter ist vorbildlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr stylisch eingerichtet, die Matratze weich und kuschelig. Wir hatte zwei ruhige und angenehme Nächte in unserem Zimmer.

Achtung! Das Angel Beach Unawatuna ist ein Beachclub mit 11 Hotelzimmern! Wer ab Mittags mit lauter Housemusic durch einen DJ beschallt werden möchte und ein bisschen auf Party steht, ist hier genau richtig. Wer seine Ruhe sucht, sollte auf eine andere Unterkunft ausweichen. Zahlreiche Tagesgäste kommen um zu feiern. Auch Familienfeste oder Geburtstage sind möglich. Aufgrund der starken Brandung ist das Schwimmen im Meer unmöglich. Am schlimmsten ist jedoch die Vorauszahlung, egal ob über Booking oder andere Plattformen gebucht wurde, es wird trotzdem eine Vorauszahlung für die erste Nacht verlangt. Dadurch entstehen Kosten und somit passt dann das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht mehr. Die Dame am Empfang hat von Reklamationsbearbeitung keine Ahnung und wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht wieder buchen!

Chille en relaxte vibe. Mooi gelegen aan het strand. Vriendelijk en attent personeel. Ruime en schone kamer. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Dichtbij het fort van Galle gelegen, leuk om te bezoeken evenals Unawatuna.

Het hotel wilde een aanbetaling via een externe link, dus buiten Booking om, ook al had ik via Booking mijn creditcard als garantie afgegeven. Hier wordt echter altijd door Booking tegen gewaarschuwd aangezien dit phising kan zijn. Contact gezocht met Booking, zij reageerden snel en behulpzaam, echter gaf Booking aan na contact te hebben gezocht met de accomodatie dat het hotel wel op deze manier een aanbetaling mocht vragen. Dit was vreemd. Overigens hoefde het uiteindelijk niet eens en heb ik bij aankomst de overnachting betaald. Houdt er rekening mee dat elke dag, tenminste toen wij er waren, er een DJ speelde vanaf 12 uur. De ene dag was het meer dance en de andere dag meer chill, echter het volume staat redelijk hard en soms te hard. Op het strand heb je hier minder last van trouwens. Tevens was het zwembad toen wij er waren een beetje troebel en hou er rekening mee dat er erg hoge golven kunnen zijn in de zee dus zwemmen is lastig en in sommige gevallen gevaarlijk.

Przepiękne miejsce, zachody słońca, pyszne jedzenie , wszystko czyste i pachnące. Osoba która sprząta i przygotowuje pokoje powinna dostać premię bo tak czystego miejsca już dawno nie widziałam. Jedzenie w restauracji coś niesamowitego! Śniadania były królewskie, pyszne ice tea, kawy, kelnerzy byli mili i uśmiechnięci, plaża piękna, na przeciw pływają żółwie, piękne zachody słońca, wszystko cudownie . Dziękuję menadżerowi hotelu za pomoc w rozwiązaniu problemów z pokojem !

Отель на первой линии, правда купаться опасно из-за сильных подводных течений, рядом пляж с черепахами. Номер просторный, но нам достался номер без окон, три ночи переночевать подойдет. Вкусные завтраки по меню, не шведский стол

The fact there were only 11 rooms but still a great pool and atmosphere. Staff were fantastic couldn't do enough for you.

J adore la musique habituellement dans les beach club mais là il n y avait que des basses un peu anxiogènes a notre goût , la suite etait magnifique ( enorme salle de bain et vrai dressing) mais ça mériterait 2 splits pour pouvoir rafraîchir la surface, les enfants avaient 2 chambres moins grandes qui etaient parfaites au niveau fraicheur

Das Hotel war insgesamt sehr schön. Besonders gefallen hat uns die coole Musik am Pool – das hat für eine richtig entspannte Urlaubsstimmung gesorgt. Die Aussicht auf das Meer war traumhaft und die Drinks waren ebenfalls top – ganz klar 10/10! Beim Servicepersonal war alles dabei: Viele waren super freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man hat sich größtenteils sehr willkommen gefühlt. Es gab allerdings auch ein paar Mitarbeiter, bei denen man gemerkt hat, dass die Motivation nicht ganz so hoch war – das war etwas schade. Im Großen und Ganzen war alles super – mit einer kleinen Ausnahme: die Kommunikation vor dem Check-in. Obwohl die Buchung inklusive Kreditkarte ganz normal hinterlegt war, wurden wir ein paar Tage vor Anreise nochmals kontaktiert, da sonst das Zimmer weitergegeben worden wäre. Das fanden wir etwas irritierend, da eigentlich bereits alles geregelt war. Trotzdem hatten wir insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt und eine gute Erfahrung.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per due notti con nostro figlio piccolo e l'esperienza è stata fantastica. La struttura è bellissima, curata nei minimi dettagli e ha un'atmosfera da 'beach club' elegante ma allo stesso tempo super accogliente e rilassata per chi viaggia in famiglia. Il punto forte assoluto è la piscina gigante: il nostro bimbo l'ha adorata e ci ha nuotato tantissimo! La sera, con l'insegna illuminata e la musica lounge di sottofondo, è un angolo di paradiso per i genitori che vogliono rilassarsi con un drink. La posizione poi è strategica, a un passo da Wijaya Beach. Consigliatissimo!

È stato tutto impeccabile! L'unico piccolo consiglio pratico: l'aria condizionata nelle camere è molto potente, quindi ricordatevi di alzarla o metterla in modalità deumidificatore prima di dormire per non svegliarvi col mal di gola!

De spillede højt musik fra frokost og frem. Med værelse ud mod poolen kunne man ikke få ro. Der kommer dagsgæster udefra så stedet minder mere om en Beach club end et afslappende hotel.
