Super schönes und modernes Zimmer mit hohen Decken und viel Platz. Das Zimmer war mit Kühlschrank und Handtüchern ausgestattet und die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Die beiden Hunde der Besitzer waren unglaublich lieb. Ein besonderes Highlight: Auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite konnten wir sogar Affen beobachten. Sehr preiswert!

Sehr schönes Zimmer, abgelegen dafür ruhig.

Habitación grande y bien equipada con nevera, A/C y ventilador. Cama grande aunque no muy cómoda. La ducha tiene mampara y hay buena presión de agua y agua caliente. El alojamiento está a unos 10min aprox andando a la playa y calle principal.

Cama algo incómoda y habitación con fuerte olor a humedad. No hay jabón de ducha.

Our stay here was extremely delightful. It was a cozy and spacious room. It was very close to all the necessary attractions! The hosts were also extremely kind to us. They also have very cute dogs as pets who guard the house while you are there

Tolle, saubere und vor allem moderne Unterkunft nur wenige Gehminuten bis zum Mirissa Beach , coconut tree hill und zur belebten Straße. Im Zimmer war ein Wasserkocher und Tee vorhanden, darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut ! Der Host war sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar! Dankeschön, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt :)

Das Bett könnte bequemer aber das hängt auch vom jeweiligen Rücken & jeweiligen Präferenzen ab :)

Amazing stay at LaRoy. The room was exceptionally clean and also very spacious. The bed and pillows were also very comfy (although the bed did make a lot of noise). The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, sorting out transfers, a bike, and laundry forms. The property is a little further out from the main town (around a 10/15 min walk or 2 min drive) but this was fine for us and worth it for such a nice room. Would 100% recommend.

I had a great stay at LaRoy Mirissa. The service was very helpful and welcoming throughout. Everything was well managed, and I felt comfortable the entire time. The host was kind, responsive, and always ready to assist with anything needed, which made the experience even better.

Beautiful room, bright, clean and spacious. Huge bed and comfortable chair to chill out on. Nice outdoor area too.

It’s a little bit out of town but we don’t mind walking so it wasn’t much of a problem for us.

Hosten var veldig hyggelig og hjalp oss med alt vi trengte, fra laundry service til transport videre. Rommet var rent og beliggenheten var akkurat passe avstand fra hovedgaten. Området var veldig stille og fredelig.

Firstly the location really suited us for our 4 night stay. We are 60 year old regular travellers. The accommodation is down a lane off the main road, opposite Turtle Beach, which is a 300 metre easy walk. The accommodation was quiet at night and the room (ground floor) was very clean and spacious, also has an Alexa connected to lights in the room and a phone if you choose to. The host was fabulous Nothing was too much trouble!! He even rode out to get me some extra coat hangers. The accommodation has its own generator so can deal with any power outage. The shower was nice and hot and the bed was comfy and has mosquito nets. There is a small terrace with lights and a fan and a good view of the monkeys across the road (they do not intrude). Can’t comment on the breakfast as we never ate here. A bread van passes every morning which is ideal for breakfast, a kettle etc.. is provided. A really great value stay in Mirissa. We would definitely stay here again. Oh, and you can get your laundry done- a real bonus

Very new! Clean and really comfortable stay! Very nice host! Our car broke down and he borrowed us his tools. Place good located! 5 mins by walk to get to the main road and to the turtle beach!

The room is clean, spacious and new. WiFi is stable and good for remote working Staff are helpful and reliable. They help me to arrange pick up service between Colombo airport and Mirissa. Sometimes the power is gone but the staff will fix it within 5 mins so not a big deal The Main Street is walking distance, just 5mins but a bit dark at night.

It was an amazing stay! The room is spacious, and all the furniture and equipment are brand new, as well as bathroom. Air conditioner is silent and fresh. The hotel is located in a quiet area; however, the beach is just a 5-min walk away. The host paid a lot of attention to details: all stuff are clean and perfect. I traveled throughout the island, and this hotel was the best, especially for price/quality ratio.

The room was well equipped and spacious! The bathroom was also pleasantly large and modern! The host was very friendly and accommodating! We can recommend this accommodation!

The bed was unfortunately noisy when turned over and the cushions were rather uncomfortable.

The room and bathroom are brand new, spacious, nicely furnished and spotless. A nice touch is the big bar of soap in the bathroom.

I was disappointed with the breakfast. It was supposed to be an English breakfast, but only had one spoonful of baked beans, two tiny sausages and a dried up fried egg. One teabag and a large pot of hot water. The fruitbowl was nicely presented. The staff was friendly but I hardly saw them during my two days stay. I had to yell out for them when we had a power failure. One of the boys did come out straight away and fixed the problem in 30 minutes.

A friendly and helpful host who assisted whenever questions or issues came up. I liked the room itself – everything is new, with high ceilings and an interesting setup where all the lights and the air conditioning are controlled via Google Nest by voice commands.

The breakfasts were not great – something that definitely needs improvement. They were completely monotonous and almost always tasteless. Either they should be removed with a price reduction or made more varied and flavorful. Some kind of noisy construction works on backyard. I would have preferred a more comfortable chair instead of a simple stool at the desk. I couldn’t fully master the voice control since each light fixture has its own name, making it hard to fine-tune the lighting the way I wanted with voice commands. As a result, I often had to rely on the wall switches to get the lighting just right. The location of the guesthouse, though, is more a reflection of the apartment’s price – I chose something not too expensive, so the location isn’t ideal. The apartment building is still under construction, so looking at where you’re staying doesn’t bring much joy. But I think once the construction is complete, they’ll start decorating the building, and it will look much more appealing.

we loved how quiet it was - only 5 minutes down the lane to turtle beach . the host was lovely. the room is new, clean, spacious and quiet . there’s is kettle and bar fridge and towels supplied. the breakfast was delicious - fruit every day- hoppas one day and roti egg the next serve with tea. there were monkeys and fireflies as a bonus!

Very large clean rooms and bathrooms, simply decorated extremely calm being away from the busy road of Mirissa beach . The best hoppas with eggs ever !

Very stylish and clean modern hotel homestay in Mirissa. 5 mins walk to beach. Great hot shower, immaculately clean room, fabulous smart lighting, comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Hosts were really lovely and it has a terrace outside room to have a coffee, it has tea and coffee facilities in room too. Best homestay in Mirissa and best value hotel.

What a place, a hidden gem this was the first place I stayed with high ceilings and it felt more like a place in Mexico than Sri Lanka. Everything was new, beautiful furniture and a MASSIVE bed. Everything was amazing

We loved our stay at LaRoy. Greeted warmly from the start by our host family and very friendly resident dogs! Convenient location, 5min walk to Main Street and beach. Super quiet and peaceful, did not feel like we were so close to the Main Street. Very fast wifi. Beautiful brand new room, very clean!!

Occasionally the hot water was more lukewarm. Was definitely bearable given the heat though.

Laroy is amazing! It is located in a quiet peaceful area (3 minutes away from the main road), so it is super calm there which is good for sleeping. The room is beautiful, large, modern, clean and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. It looks exactly the same as in the pictures. If you need to work while staying there, you can do it both inside and outside on a terrace. The people who own the place were welcoming and helped me with all the queries which I had. I am really happy that I chose Laroy for my stay in Mirissa (10+ days) because everything was wonderful! I do definitely recommend this place for everybody who values comfort and needs good value for money!
