Edificio antiguo totalmente restaurado de una manera excepcional, respetando todo el encanto de aquellas casas de finales del siglo XIX principio del XX en Santiago. La limpieza de 10, no hay por donde ponerles ni una sola pega. El personal de recepción espectacular, trato encantador, da gusto encontrarte con personas así cuando llegas de caminar más de 20 km. El desayuno muy variado y con un servicio atento a todo lo que necesites.

The staff is very friendly, the price is reasonable for Santiago, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The shower has good water pressure. This is my second stay here and it did not disappoint. We had the 3rd floor room which is very spacious with good ventilation. Thank you Hotel Atalaia! We will be back!

The hotel was easy to find, and access was very convenient using the key card system. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. La cama incomodisima. Era una habitación individual y estaba preparada para poder tener una litera encima. No sé si ésa es la razón por la que dolía la espalda o era por el colchón. De verdad, consideren cambiar colchón o somier o ambos.

There is a nearby bus stop a few minutes walk away in Rua San Roque and the location is ideal for the Cathedral which is an easy walk, less than 10 minutes. It’s not worth going out for breakfast as nothing opens until 10 am. As a solo traveller I felt safe at this hotel. The receptionist, Cris, was lovely and friendly. She speaks good English which is helpful. I had arranged for a small suitcase to be transported by Correos and they didn’t collect so she helped me to sort this out. I am very grateful for her help.

All spoke English which was great .loved the breakfast with yoghurts, fresh bread, cereals, fruit ,sweet treats and a selection of coffee/tea. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. Wonderful. Loved the huge bathroom. Room cleaned everyday.
Only one very small thing.My bed didn't have a headboard which was awkward as I like to read in bed.
