Villa Kaiydee

This is our 12th villa in 7 months of this year and we agree that this property has more ticks than boxes. Tasteful, quality building and contents and good value. For us, it is perfect in every way. The best and fully equipped kitchen for cooking anything you want. Beyond the front gate are all the many and varied facilities of Ambalangoda. To the rear of the property there is silence, except for the jungle sounds. The pools are excellent, bounded by tropical planting and the lighting of this in the evening is another valuable asset. Delightful wildlife. The owner, Dharshan and his manager, Medushan are discretely attentive, caring, helpful and, generous people. Ten people can stay here.Two of us stayed for 10 nights but several of our Sri Lankan friends were welcomed which increased our lasting memories. Of all the reviews we have written, we can genuinely state this property, for us, is the overall better holiday stay. We were fortunate to be able to book 10 days here. We have now booked a 14 night stay later in the year. If you are fortunate to be able to book this popular property you will not need this review to be any longer.

Absolutely one of the best villas we’ve ever stayed at! 🌴✨ The place was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, creating the perfect relaxing atmosphere. What truly made our stay special was the incredible support from the staff — they were extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality went above and beyond, making us feel comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch service. Very spacious and comfortable house, great pool with kids pool as well. Highlight is the hospitality, treated us like a family with an onsite staff. We had issues with our vehicle during our stay and they were really helpful sorting it out for us. Beautiful braches nearby, local market nearby. Would highly recommend and we would come again.

We recently stayed at Kaiydee Villa and it was everything we could have hoped for – and more. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views, immaculate presentation, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The villa itself is beautifully designed – spacious, modern, and tastefully decorated with a perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The bedrooms were cozy with high-quality linens, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed (and then some). The private pool area were highlight of our trip . The location is ideal – only a short drive to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. We loved exploring the area during the day and retreating to our little oasis in the evenings. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring everything was perfect during our stay. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests' experience. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return visit. Highly recommend Kaiydee Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway!

It was the most amazing experience we had a nice get-together. The vila was amazing and the staff were super friendly I recomend this property to anyone who wish to have a nice time.

Great location close to railway and bus station right in the middle of bustling town. Only 5 -8 min walk to the beach. Beautifully renovated colonial style villa with all you need to have a comfotable and private stay 10/10 for cleanliness and hygiene. Caretaker Madhushan has wealth of knowledge of the area and he was great support throughout our stay. Will book this place again!

We had the most wonderful vacation in our lives in this beautiful villa. Affordable price, availability of a housekeeper and a cook who will prepare wonderful local dishes at a very low price, and also cooks to order whatever you wish. Wonderful spacious rooms with bathrooms, hot water, air conditioners and fans in each bedroom, internet. The owner is a very kind and pleasant person who directs the employees to help the guests in everything. They helped us with everything, even if we didn't ask. They advised us on where and what to buy, or bought for us themselves, helped us rent a car, tuk tuk, plan excursions (which was very convenient and cheaper than we would have done it ourselves). A very beautiful and large area with a large pool complemented the wonderful impression, great location, excellent infrastructure nearby, 5 minutes to the beach. The owner is constantly in touch and ready to help with any question. There is a doctor's office and a pharmacy nearby. There is also a washing machine in the villa, which is very convenient. Every 3 days the rooms are cleaned, linen and towels are changed. Both adults and children really liked everything, we are sincerely grateful for the excellent service and attitude. All the best!!!

Perfect location with easy access to markets and the beach. House was in a quiet peaceful place. Clean and large bed rooms, dinning area which made our stay comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool facility very much.

Big mansion with a housekeeper and guard dog. Big pool. Clean and spacious rooms. Each room with own toilet. Great host. Brought us to buy fruits and going to the moonstone mine. Fantastic stay and near lots of shop, salon, fast food and market. Great location. Very homely. There's washing machine to wash all our clothing. Housekeeper makes great tea. Highly recommend to stay here.

Colonial style villa is located on a quiet street, has a garden, a private pool, a separate kitchen where you can cook your own food, or ask an house keeper to cook whatever you want. It is very convenient to take a bike and move to different locations or you can use the services of Tuk-Tuk. The pool area is a great place to chill out. The rooms are large, with air conditioning and large beds.
