Delightful Boutique Homestay. Staff went out of their way to please. Very helpful with organising trips. Mrs Okawati was delightful & full of local knowledge. Beds comfortable. Hot showers & delicious breakfast & coffee. A wee old world haven away from the busy streets.

Gorgeous property!! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. It was my partners birthday & they decorated the room before we got there, free of charge. The pool was incredible. Breakfast was available for a reasonable price.

Es una edificación antigua con muchísima humedad en las habitaciones inferiores, las superiores están mucho mejor, los lavabos eran muy basicos. La reserva de dos habitaciones para 5 personas incluía desayuno pero solo nos dieron para 3 porque así dejerom que era su norma, imposible de entender cuando reservas para 5, no discutimos porque igualmente no es un gran desayuno como para generar un altercado.

Beautiful Balinese style property and rooms. Spacious and clean. Right in the middle of the centre, though tucked away so really quiet. Pool is lovely, breakfast simple but good and the staff super friendly and helpful!!

Perfect location Brilliant pool and breakfast . The rooms are art galleries . Close to everything but quiet ! Mrs Okawati is a legend as are Putu the manager and other staff . Just book here ! I've been coming back for over a decade !

We spent 2 nights at the hotel, but we were away during the day, so we didn't use it much. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was large, the room for 3 people had enough space. The air conditioning and wifi worked without any problems. Beautiful garden, excellent breakfast to choose from, which can be combined from several options. Very pleasant owner.

Great property located between the Sacred Monkey Forest and the center of Ubud. It’s tucked away in a side street, so despite being so close to downtown, you don't hear any traffic noise. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, and a private pool available for guests. Mrs. Okawati is absolute sweetness!We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!

Ligger centralt men avskilt, liten oas. Vägarna som var fyllda med bilar och mopeder hördes inte alls. Personalen var fantastiskt. Man kände sig som hemma. Poolen fräsch.

Dåligt tryck i duschen, man får ha tålamod :). Rummen behöver en lite uppdatering, tex toaletten satt inte riktigt fast, myror på rummet.

L'emplacement est exceptionnel, même la petite allée qui amène à l'entrée de l'hôtel est très charmante. Il y a plusieurs autres hébergements de grande classe dans la même allée qui ajoutent au charme de l'endroit. Il y a aussi un bar avec de la bonne musique le soir juste avant cette petite allée. Et malgré la proximité immédiate du centre un peu chaotique d'Ubud, les chambres sont au calme absolu. L'emplacement près de la piscine pour le petit déjeuner est très mignon et agréable, chaque chambre dispose devant d'une petite terrasse avec une chaise longue et une table. Le jardin autour de la piscine est extra!

Globalement c'est un établissement ancien qui pourrait bénéficier d'une rénovation des salles de bains et de la piscine.

The owner was extremely friendly. Basic but nice breaksfast. Good pool. Room was a good size. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

The location was very central A bit hard for drivers to find . Was pleasant , used as a place to leave out gear while we went exploring over to sideman.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Besitzerin ist sehr liebevoll und kümmert aich um die Gäste und den Garten hervorragend. Das Personal ebenso. Ein sehr schöner, ruhiger Ort mitten im turbulenten Ubud.

It was very quiet considering it was right in the centre of Ubud as it was a short walk down a Lane way. The pool was great. The place was fully booked but we had the pool to ourselves most of the time.

The shower head in our room needs replacing

The people were awesome, so helpful and friendly and nothing was ever a problem. Location is super handy. Perfect for what we needed as a base for our adventuring. Rooms were more authentic than modern but had everything we needed.

Liked everything. Recommend you bring an adapter and perhaps a multiplug if you have multiple devices. Slow charging so enjoy being unplugged for a bit!

The property was perfect. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and well laid out. The best things about the property was the location and the staff. Okawati was so friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be more central to the Ubud main area. The pool was also very nice and clean.

The staff was great (owner and her son being one of the main staff) Quiet at night. The location is excellent. Staff was always present and very communicative. The rooms were clean including the bedding and towels. They cleaned the room everyday. We checked in 3am next day - the instructions to enter our room was given in advance. Mattress were good and one pillow each per person.

The water pressure was too low not enough for a good shower. Hot water and cold water mixing was not good. One night we had to go to other room for shower(assisted by staff) as there was no water. Car won’t come to property - you need to walk 150 mt through a scooter alleyway. Limited and cheap breakfast - same everyday - no much items or change of menu. We took breakfast only 2/4 of stay. Door were squeaky (bathroom) so if you open in the night it will wake other people in the room. Step down from the room level to bathroom/toilet. Did not have mosquito cover for the single bed- the main double bed had mosquito net.

Okawati Bungalows exudes a much appreciated sense of peace & calm in the bedlam of Ubud. Far enough back from Jalan Monkey Forest that you hear no traffic noise at all as you enjoy the lovely pool and beautifully tended gardens. The staff are all friendly & helpful, not least Mrs Okawati herself who can be found sweeping the grounds each day, talking to her guests or doing an early morning shop for, in my case, the fruit I'd ordered for breakfast! My bungalow 2B was great, very roomy, imposing four poster bed with mosquito nets, quality Balinese style dark wood furniture both in the room and on the large balcony overlooking gardens & pool. The large bathroom had a shower and bath. The room has bedside tables, lamps, a fridge, wardrobe, coffee & bottled water and a handy clothes drying frame on the balcony. Aircon worked very well. Never felt happier or more relaxed anywhere.

Beautiful decor in rooms and amazing balinese garden and surroundings. Very friendly and kind staff happy to help with any queries. Also was a highlight starting everyday with the delicious cooked breakfast and the view of the garden. Perfect location away from the main road but still walking distance to shops, bars, palaces and monkey forest.

Facilities a little outdated and no hot water in the shower which is fine for a short stay.

The owner was lovely and so friendly, she made our stay so enjoyable. The pool was nice. The location was good and about 2 minutes walk from the high street.

It's a little old fashioned but the price reflected this.

The accommodation is located close to the tourist area of Monkey Street in Ubud, where you can find local markets and the Ubud Palace. It is tucked away in the narrow, historic streets near the Monkey Forest, and despite being close to the center, it remains quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful. They assisted us with arranging our itinerary and helped us rent a scooter.

Stillheten, personalen lugna och vänliga. Att ha Mrs Okawati är bara det ett nöje, så mjuk och vänlig.

Een heerlijke rustige omgeving op niet meer dan 10 lopen van het centrum van Ubud. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en een lekker zwembad hebben ons de Nyepi tijd fantastisch gemaakt. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug komen.

Als ik al een minpuntje moet maken is dat hoogstens het feit dat je er niet met de auto kan komen. Maar dat geeft juist weer het rust effect en het is niet ver lopen.

No restaurant as advertised and long walk to shop when your diabetic and need to eat. You have o walk suitcases through alley way to get to hotel Towels not changed and more for someone who wants to just do nothing

2nd time I have been here. It is still fantastic. Such a sweet family who runs the hotel. Miss Okawati and her family takes good care of you.

Die große Freundlichkeit und gute Kommunikation mit dem Team vor der Anreise und während des Aufenthalts. Vielfältige Beratung und liebe Gastfreundschaft. Perfekte Lage in Mitten von Ubud und trotzdem eine Oase der Natur und Ruhe. Klasse und günstiger Wäscheservice.

Leider hat das Restaurant in Covid geschlossen und wurde nicht mehr geöffnet, was derart nicht klar war. Frühstück gut, jedoch einfach.

Personeel was eigenlijk wel vriendelijk. De ligging is voortreffelijk.

Bij aankomst was de handzeep leeg en niet aangevuld. De kamer rook muf en was niet erg fris. De waterkoker had een snoer van slechts 50cm. en waar hij stond was bovendien geen stopcontact, ik moest hem op het nachtkastje zetten om hem te kunnen gebruiken. Koffie en melk werden niet aangevuld, heb zelf koffie en melk gekocht. Tassen werden soms wel en dan weer niet afgewassen of ververst. De safe was "broken" en onbruikbaar. Bij onze medereizigers stond de safe gewoon los in de kamer, kon je zo meenemen. Handdoeken zijn van het hele verblijf (5 dagen) niet ververst geweest. Bij het karige ontbijt was er per persoon 1 tas koffie en 1 zakje creamer voorhanden. Er werd niet aangevuld. De jacuzi was ook "broken" en het zwembad was niet erg netjes.

The room was so beautifully decorated with traditional carvings and four-poster Balinese bed. The bathroom was spacious with good shower facilities. The balcony was a delightful place to sit, overlooking the lush garden.

Simply - there was nothing to dislike! Only leaving this beautiful place!

Excellent emplacement, au calme, à proximité du Palais d'Ubud. Nombreux commerces et restaurants aux alentours. Okawati, la maîtresse des lieux est un amour.

La struttura ha tanto potenziale ma andrebbe ristrutturata, sistemata e pulita. Il bagno aveva la tavoletta del wc macchiata dal tempo e la doccia perdeva ovunque. Le tende erano strappate in più punti ... insomma qualche piccola accortezza e pulizia in generale.
