The decor is beautiful and all the facilities were excellent. The staff were professional yet warm, making us feel genuinely cared for. The food was absolutely delicious, and the jacuzzi inside our room was a highlight. We truly felt spoiled like royalty throughout our stay.

No complaints — everything exceeded our expectations.

I hate that we had to leave.

A few weeks have passed since my stay at the hotel. The emotions have settled, but the bad memories will stay with me forever. I’ll probably forget in time about the very uncomfortable, hard bed and the non-functioning WiFi (I run a business, so a reliable connection was crucial for me), along with the staff constantly pretending they were doing everything they could to fix it — those things are not that important. The one thing I will never forget, and that will remain a deeply painful memory, is the humiliation of another human being. On the first day after our arrival, I cried for an hour and a half while sitting in the hotel lobby. We arrived as a group of three. We know Sri Lanka and Sri Lankans well because in my country we’ve worked with Sri Lankan colleagues for several years. One of our co-workers, a Sri Lankan man, was visiting his family during the time of our trip. He picked us up from the airport and brought us to the hotel. The three of us had the maximum amount of luggage and many gifts for his family. We arrived at the hotel around 6 PM. WHEN THE HOTEL STAFF AND THE MANAGER SAW THAT A SRI LANKAN MAN BROUGHT US, THEY CATEGORICALLY AND IN A RUDE, AGGRESSIVE WAY FORBADE HIM FROM ENTERING OUR ROOM! I explained that we work together and that he was only picking up the gifts we brought, that he would only be in the room for a few minutes. THE OUTRAGEOUS RESPONSE I RECEIVED WAS THAT THIS MAN HAS NO RIGHT TO ENTER OUR ROOM — THAT IT'S A RULE SET BY THE HOTEL OWNER! I ask: what kind of hotel “rule” stands above basic human dignity and respect, regardless of someone’s skin color? Our friend was denied entry solely because he was Sri Lankan. It is unbelievably sad that a Sri Lankan person is humiliating another Sri Lankan in his own country. I started crying and told them I did not want to stay in a place where people are treated this way. The manager’s only response was: “Your stay is non-refundable and you will not get a single dollar back.”

The staff hides behind “guest safety,” but that’s not true. If a European person — even one not staying at the hotel — wanted to enter the room with us, they would have been allowed in without question. We clearly explained to the staff that our Sri Lankan friend just wanted to come in with us for a few minutes to pick up some gifts — and yet he was denied entry. They hide behind “tourist safety,” but that’s a lie. They don’t listen to what you say. In this hotel, what matters is the color of your skin and how much money you have. I travel a lot around the world, and this was the most humiliating experience — watching our Sri Lankan colleague being discriminated against in his own homeland. To the hotel owner: I wanted to spend a lot of money at your restaurant and spa, but after such behavior, your hotel deserves the worst possible review. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and this is the only review I’ve ever written — carefully considered, composed with calm emotions, and fully deserved by the hotel owner. I respect every human being in life, regardless of whether they are rich or poor, what color their skin is, or where they were born.

We, a group of old school friends, had the most unforgettable stay at Aditya Resort, Sri Lanka. The beach-facing property is stunning, with direct access to the shore, beautifully appointed rooms, and excellent amenities. What truly stood out was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff – from pre-arrival arrangements to excursions and every meal, the team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We felt genuinely pampered and well cared for throughout. A huge thank you to Team Aditya for making our celebration of friendship so special!

Evening dinner and breakfasts were delicious. Large comfortable bedroom well equipped and particularly liked the pillow menu. No cut off times for breakfast which meant you could take brunch whenever you fancied. Whilst there is little around the hotel, it’s so peaceful through the day and Tuktuks are cheap and readily available to take you to nearby towns when you feel a change of scene required. All staff we encountered were brilliant.

Whilst breakfast was delicious, there was no variation throughout our stay. Hotel bar lacked atmosphere and was more like a pool bar ie OK to use for a daytime drink.

The hotel facilities are great. I liked the arrangement of dinning, bar, outdoor pool garden chill out spaces. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Location was splendid, you have private access to a section of the beach. Lifeguards are on duty on the beach and around the pool. The staff across Aditya are so receptive, they go out of their way to make it an incredible stay for you whether you are there one night or more.

It’s not that I didn’t like anything, it would have been nice to possibly have a little more choice from the breakfast set menus. But honestly any fault Aditya, we will be back

From my pre arrival experience with Sushil and Tahrushi to my Warm and welcoming arrival experience thank you once again Sushil , sureka , Pahanami and Sushil who continued maintaining this throughout my stay beautiful and uniquely designed rooms , though I had a look at a couple of rooms (surya is outstanding yet I emphasize my stay at Rudra was very comfortable with a lot of privacy and a good view) Rooms well cleaned and attended thank you Mihera and the team in Housekeeping , Food and beverage selection has a perfect variation to meet basically everyone’s taste , Thanks to the chef and his team the presentation, taste and quality is something to be recognized service was superb very attentive spot on , Indika is a star calm controlled and very attentive he usually took care of me , Chanika , Milindu. And Ushan do an amazing job ensuring service is at it’s best with no compromise on quality Beverages at the Bar overlooking the pool are amazing and good place to hang out Last but in no way the least the simple yet attentive and observant life guards one of them over 10years with Aditya apologize I don’t remember his name (Dilanka) could be Thank you as you always said if the guest is happy we are happy !

Everything about this hotel was outstanding, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good pool, and our room had excellent views over the garden to the sea.

Very special place . Boutique , laid-back feel with excellent and attentive service and high levels of comfort . Rooms amazing , excellent clean infinity . Private beach area . Food top-notch . Can ask to have on beach and that was excellent . We booked an extra night after first three as didn’t want to leave and easy 2 hr drive to Colombo airport .

It’s a lovely hotel. Everyone was very attentive to make us feel comfortable. Beach is secluded and beautiful. Our room - Surya Suite - was very spacious and had a big terrace with jacuzzi and a separate balcony, both with ocean view. Sofa in the living room is extremely comfortable. Spa is good, food is delicious. Overall we liked our stay.

The bathroom had an open area to the outside. While it may sound like a tropic theme, toilet and wash basin got very hot and humid and there were insects due to open area. Also, ventilation to toilet was opening to staff rest area and we could hear their talking while using bathroom.

Nice little boutique hotel tucked away out of the hustle and bustle of Galle. Room was massive

We had Indra room which had jacuzzi bath in our room but there was no window to the outside just a blind to close, which felt a bit odd. This meant you had to climb into the jacuzzi to open the blind. The room had many different levels throughout

This hotel was absolutely perfect. It is located right on the beach (a few kilometres away from Galle, which is a must see in this area) and is beautifully designed. Every detail is carefully thought out, creating an elegant atmosphere. The rooms are massive, very clean, and comfortable. Also, the food at the restaurant was outstanding. However, the biggest praise goes to the staff. Out of all the hotels we stayed at in Sri Lanka, this was where we felt the most special. They went above and beyond to fulfill our every wish, making our stay truly unforgettable.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it felt like a hidden paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a fruit platter, chocolates, and delicious Sri Lankan sweets in our room. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious, especially the continental and American dishes. Everything was perfect. The hotel boasts a big swimming pool and a beautifully scenic beach atmosphere. My room had a jacuzzi on the balcony directly facing the sea, creating an amazing ambiance with the ocean and pool outside. The rooms were spacious with lovely décor, and the beds were really comfortable. Overall, I had an amazing stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The service was on a very high level - the staff paid attention even to small details. The room and bathroom were big and comfortable with nice balcony and view. The common areas (restaurant, pool, beach) were large so that it didn’t feel crowded at any time. I recommend the spa service - the massages and other treatments we did were really good.

Very nice and elegant hotel right on the beach. We really enjoyed our room, the Suryia Suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the concept of eating when and where you want, so we enjoyed dinner on our balcony and breakfast in the restaurant, whose staff is fantastic. The food is excellent. We had a back massage in the spa, which was great and really relaxing after a long flight. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the hotel, it almost felt like we were the only guests. We recommend the Aditya especially to couples looking for a relaxing and quiet stay in an upscale Sri Lankan-Balinese style boutique hotel with only 14 rooms away from the crowds. The beach in front of the hotel is perfect for a stroll surrounded by lush vegetation.

Food and serve was great.

WiFi was horrible and didn’t work 90% of our stay. We also elected to have a couples massage. The person attending to my husband walked out of the room as I was changing. Completely inappropriate.

Our stay was perfect. We stayed in ocean view room with plunge pool and it was worth amazing views! Staff were lovely and attentive

There was nothing not too like

We had the privilege of spending 5 nights at Aditya Resort. The resort is situated at the beach where you can have a private moment of rest in the morning. A la carte breakfast is excellent. The staff is very attentive and remembers which dishes you like. The rooms are spacious and housekeeping cleans and organizes it for you several times a day. Also consider their restaurant for dinner. The menu is diverse and ranges from western and oriental cuisine to locally caught fish. Prices are fair and comparable to good local restaurants. Reception can help you out if you have any out of the ordinary requests or just want a recommendation for a nice trip. On our last evening at checkout the restaurant staff gathered to wish us goodbye.

Great location on the beach front - all be it the sea was rough due to the time of year. Staff were great and food very good.

Beachside property, even though the sea was a little rough we were able to swim as there was a hotel lifeguard which was great. Breakfast included was fantastic, great service, staff were really helpful with organising transport. Hotel was lovely and clean.

Absolutely fantastic boutique hotel. We stayed with 3 kids in the villa and had a great time for 5 days. One of the best hotels we have stayed at.

Please note that the villa rooms are connected via a stair outside the main door.

Rooms are very elegantly designed. The suite came with a beautiful verandah that had a Jacuzzi and a koi pond. The customer service is very good and polite. The entire resort has a relaxed vibe perfect for a vacation. The food served is delicious with large portions. Cocktails were very good too. The restaurant dining area is next to a garden overlooking the beach. Overall a very enjoyable stay

We really liked the view on the fish pond with the water basin. Also the staff was on an outstanding level. They nearly read our wishes from our eyes will keep our privacy. We also had one of the best breakfast and definitely the best dinner at Aditya Resort. This all is in my eyes feasible because of the pleasant size of the Resort, no mass tourism, no all-inclusive attitude. Thumbs up 👍🏼

The Aditya Resort was one of our greatest accommodation within our 20 days trip through Sri Lanka. We moved to another room (suite with sea view) and really liked the view on the sea sitting in the water basin. Although the room was smaller and more expensive than the suite with garden view we extremely loved the room with sea view. As already mentioned, the staff was on an outstanding level. They nearly read our wishes from our eyes will keep our privacy. We also had one of the best breakfast and definitely the best dinner at Aditya Resort. This all is in my eyes feasible because of the pleasant size of the Resort, no mass tourism, no all-inclusive attitude. Thumbs up 👍🏼
