Nos alojamos mi pareja y yo y nos encanto!! Habitación super amplia y limpia, cama muy cómoda, aire acondicionado, nevera y cocina individual. Además, a menos de 10 min andando de la playa. El dueño es super simpático y agradable, nos dejó hacer el check out mas tarde y nos reservó el taxi para el siguiente destino a un buen precio. Sin duda repetiriamos!!!

Hele vriendelijke eigenaar met mooie grote kamers midden in het centrum maar toch rustig! De eigenaar heeft ons geholpen met een vroege pick up naar de Yala safari.

It’s very close to the beach and not far away from the main area, it’s very silent and there are some good local restaurants around

What an amazing stay !! Everything about this place was 10/10 . The room is super spacious. Absolutely love the shower ! The WIFI is also very very good . 1 min walk to the beach , close to everything by foot . The staff were super friendly ! I’ll definitely be staying here again next April ! Super Lage in Hiriketiya und wirklich sauber. Eine der wenigen Unterkünften mit warm Wasser und gutem Wasserdruck. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und wir konnten sogar später aus checken und unser Gebäck bis zum Abend dort lassen.

A good accommodation in a central yet quiet location. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The garden is very lovely.

The location of this accommodation is absolutely perfect. Located right in the restaurant area in a quiet side street. Only 3 minutes walking to the beautiful beach. Would always come back. The owner is a very friendly and helpful person too. Don’t hesitate to book this, you won’t regret it. The rooms are modern with a well working AC and modern bathroom. They all have a cute little balcony where you can dry your beach towels. It is definitely one of the best accommodations we’ve had in Sri Lanka.

Perfectly in a calm area located and the owner is super friendly. They even helped us with finding a driver for our next destination. The location is very close to the beach and all the good restaurants, shops. It was clean and spacious.

The interior is lacking a bit in aesthetics. It could use a nice big mirror or some paintings or some vases. Anything to create a nice atmosphere in the room would make it a top notch stay.

Perfect for what we needed - ended up extending by 3 days. Great location, nice big room with air conditioning, plus our hosts were so welcoming to us (celebrated the big man’s birthday with them). Would recommend anyone staying in hiriketya.

It’s pretty basic as furnishings go and could do with some more ambient lighting.

Everything was perfect! The place was very clean and well maintained. The hosts were extremely kind and caring – when a friend of ours was sick, they even checked in to see how she was doing, which we really appreciated. We were also able to extend our stay without any problems. They also offer safari tours, which is a great additional experience. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at Hiri Fortress! The room was very spacious and clean, with A/C and fan. Bathroom was big and with hot water. The location is perfect, super easy to access everything but also far enough to have a chill vibe. They were super helpful and kind as well!

Sehr großes neues Zimmer mit schönem Garten und super Lage zum Strand und zu Restaurants. Der Eigentümer ist sehr zuvorkommend. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir auf dem Rückweg erneut hier übernachtet haben.

Neues Guesthouse mit sehr bequemen Bett. Habe auf Wunsch ein flacheres Kissen bekommen und konnte spontan meinen Aufenthalt verlängern. Lage ist super. Es ist ruhig und trotzdem ist man schnell zu Fuß am Strand oder an den beliebten Orten. Man konnte unkompliziert über what’s App kommunizieren oder wenn Surein vor Ort war. Manchmal hat man Glück, dass im Garten Peacocks oder auch Affen zu sehen sind :)

Nur ein Verbesserungsvorschlag… :) Meinen Müll aus Badezimmer und Küche konnte ich problemlos abgeben auf Nachfrage, wäre aber empfehlenswert, wenn das automatisch täglich passiert :)

Nous avons passé 4 jours parfaits à Hiri fortress ! La chambre est spacieuse avec un espace cuisine. On peut choisir la température de la douche. La terrasse est super agréable pour les petits déjeuners. La clim et le grand lit nous ont permis de bien dormir. À 2 min à pied, vous avez restaurants, épicerie, laverie, café. C'est à moins de 10 min de la plage et de la rue principale avec des éclairages tout le long. C'est vraiment l'endroit idéal pour séjourner à Hiri !

Vriendelijke en oprechte gastheer met goede aanbevelingen. Accommodatie ligt op een goede locatie, dichtbij goede horeca en paar minuten lopen van het strand, en is netjes & prettig.

De las mejores estancias de Sri Lanka. El personal es muy amable y pendiente de las necesidades. Te ayidan con el alquiler de moto. Habitación super grande y nueva, con cocina, mesa, estantería. Cama muy comoda y buen aire acondicionado. A un paso de la playa y con restaurantes muy buenos cerca.

La ducha no tenía agua caliente ya que lo tienen regulado con el sol.

Lovely stay! Rooms were big, with nice airco and a great kitchen with a big refrigerator. The place has a beautiful garden and has a great location as it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach, there are several nice restaurants nearby and there was no noice from the street/restaurants at all! But what made our stay even better was the very sweet owner who even brought us fresh local fruit! Overall this place was perfect for us and we would definitely recommend it if you visit Hiriketiya ❤️

As the apartments are brand new, part of the building is still in construction and to be finished (no construction noise / works during our stay).

I don't know how to describe this experience. It was a comfortable stay for us. We had an electric kettle, plates, cups, sugar to make tea, even tea leaves.The room had a hair dryer, cupboard, cloth rack, and a large mirror. The comfortable bed gave me a good night's sleep. There was also fast and good air conditioning. There were restaurants, clothing shops, and surf board rental shops nearby. There was the best wifi I had in Sri Lanka. The wifi was very fast. And the garden full of greenery makes the mind relax.Peacocks come to the peaceful environment every morning. There is nothing more relaxing than watching them. The teak trees throughout the garden provide shade. The fresh breeze is refreshing and we cannot forget the friendly staff. They provided us with everything we needed.

It is a new hotel room which contained all the facilities that l expected. l am highly recommended.

This is an almost brand new property. It is immaculately clean, with a comfortable room and bed. I had the best sleep in months here. The well appointed kitchen area has a fridge and kettle, and tea is generously provided. Each room has a terrace overlooking the garden where you can see peacocks and monkeys. It has a quiet and peaceful feel to it while being close to the beach, cafes etc. Surein and his staff were kind and helpful, and were also very interesting to talk to. Overall it is excellent value for money and I highly recommend this property for your stay in Hiriketiya.

Not a single thing!

Brand new accommodation in a great location, with everything within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, the AC works well, and the internet is very fast. The host is super kind. We were able to check in early, and he also helped us find a driver to Tissamaharama at a good and reasonable price. Highly recommended! I would stay here again when visiting Hiriketiya next time.

Everything. It is a brand-new pleasant hotel with a few large rooms. The room has everything you need inside, it is modern and super clean. The AC works very well and the wifi is excellent, the fastest internet I had in all Sri Lanka. The most important thing is the kindness of the people who run the place. They helped me with my trip, they even went to the train station to check the train schedule for me, and negotiated the price of the tuk tuk to get to the station. The hotel is also very well located, I did everything on foot, and there are plenty of nice restaurants and yoga places around. I recommend ++++ this hotel to anyone. I felt very well and safe there.

A highly recommended new and excellent hotel. The rooms have good bathrooms and showers, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The hosts speak good English—Surein is incredibly kind and helped us with many questions about the area and recommendations in Sri Lanka. His staff member, Sakith, is a hardworking, smart, and friendly guy. Everything we asked for was provided immediately. We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely return!

We spent 3 nights at the Hiri Fortress and loved every single moment there. The rooms are private, spacious , and immaculately clean. It was an incredibly comfortable stay and our highlight so far in Sri Lanka. The best part of it was the hospitality extended by Sakith and his father, who took wonderful care of us and stayed in touch throughout via WhatsApp. Highly recommend!

The place is super close to Hiriketiya Beach ( around 8 minute walk) and all the cool spots around, yet it’s very quiet and offers plenty of privacy. The room was spacious, with a comfy big bed, AC, and a kitchenette with a fridge. Nice spacious bathroom. Very clean place with an amazing and welcoming staff. They welcomed me with a fresh coconut, helped with laundry, and were very helpful throughout my stay. Also the internet was great!

It is a new property, that looks very nice and it is really clean. The guys were really nice and made us enjoy our stay.

The room was spotless, with a spacious and comfortable bed. The linens and towels were refreshed regularly, and the air conditioning kept everything cool and pleasant. The bathroom was well-equipped with a mirror. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fridge, kettle, utensils, and a stove, which made cooking easy. We’ve truly never met sweeter hosts, and this place felt like a home away from home!

I had the best stay at Hiri Fortress. Suren couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating and his family made me feel very at home. The rooms are very spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable and private. The location is perfect, surrounded by nature and so close to the beach and cafes/restaurants. I highly recommend staying here, it’s a quiet peaceful haven, I’ll definitely be back again.

This is a new building where everything is new and clean. This apartment is nice for longer stays since it has a usable kitchen. For me it was very important that the bathroom was clean, the AC and fan were working and that there was enough sunlight coming inside the room. Plus the owner was at our complete disposal, he and his son were very kind and provided us a motorbike and a laundry service. We came here to surf and Hiriketiya has very nice waves and a lot of surf rentals where you can get your surf boards! I would recommend this place, enjoy!

We really enjoyed our time in Surein's hotel room. It is a super modern, cozy and bright room with everything you need. Large garden and close to the beach thanks to the shortcut. In addition, Surein and his family are very helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back any time.

The location is perfect as walking distance from the beach and a lot of restaurants and cafes. The room was spacious and comfortable and air-con kept the room cool. Suren was also very helpful and always available if I needed anything during the stay.

The property is brand new and offers a very comfortable bed and a large garden with parking, a kitchen with all the equipments and a nice sitting area. A/C was great!!. You can walk every where and can observe nature. The owner is super helpful and friendly. Definitely worth staying here and l will again.

They had not disclosed in advance that payment was cash only, nor mentioned it at the day of check-in. There was no reception as it was a building site with the one room only ready, meaning there was nowhere to leave luggage on the check-out day before moving onto the next destination. There were no furniture other than the bed or wardrobe etc. to hang clothes, just a bed so we had to keep our things on the floor.

We were lucky to be their very first customers! 😍 They are friendly and caring people. We had booked for 2 weeks and extended our stay because we felt really comfortable in the room. The bed is large and comfortable, and the sheets and towels are changed regularly. It is very clean. There is air-conditioning , and there are two turnstiles (one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen). In the bathroom, there is a light above the mirror, as well as hot water and plenty of space to put things down. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a kettle, utensils and a stove. The wi-fi works very well. They also helped me find data for when I went out. They also brought us fruits. We also asked them if it was possible to rent scooters and they found us two scooters with two helmets for a quite reasonable price. Thank you again!
