Fabulous location, very cute campsite. Felt very cozy and relaxing, also fabulous spa area on site. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Wish I stayed longer, will definitely be back!

Super charming set up! We stayed in one of the hobbit holes and loved it! The hot tub and sauna are such a nice bonus. We didn't get a chance to use the pizza oven, but it seems amazing. We'd love to come back and rent the whole place out for a family party!

I wish the inside of the hobbit home felt more hobbity.

The theme was awesome and then being able to purchase Pizza and drinks later in the day when me and my girlfriend were a bit tired was amazing. The boatele was an awesome experience. I'm a bit taller but my girl, she fit right in haha

The staff was super friendly and gave us an upgrade to their new boat house which was an exceptional experience! It was well designed, comfortable, and a super fun experience. The pizza ovens and communal areas were also so fun!

The road in can be a little difficult. Google and Apple Maps takes you the difficult way in to the site, but the drive out was much easier after getting better directions from the staff. To be fair he did tell us not to follow the online instructions so that was a little on us.

Un lieu magnifique.

The hobbit hole was dark and soundproofed - we could have slept forever. Staff were welcoming. Shared milk, tea, coffee and cereal is great. There are communal spaces for chats, sharing music, pizza ovens or you can sit outside your own accommodation and relax. The toilets and showers are large, private and clean. Everyone should stay in a place like this.

Que no hubiera baño dentro y que es demasiado caro, tambien faltaban estanterias para apoyar cosas y percheros para colgar ropa. Lo tenias que poner todo en el suelo practicamente

The listing didn't tell us which amazing cabin we would get as we were really hoping for a hobit house, nonetheless all of them are super amazing and we loved our A-frame!

Everything, amazing spot, the room was really comfortable and clean, with tv, wifi. You can buy things at the shop if you forgot, like wine, pizza, beer, soda, etc. Is very cozy, and the owners are very friendly and helpful, trying to make your experience exceptional. Sauna and hotube is an experience I never going to forget. Kitchen super equipped. And the best… silence everywhere to relax !

Has a lovely friendly vibe with very friendly owner and staff and quaint glamping. A real peaceful destination. Will definitely be back.

Nothing was an issue for Stephen and Michaela, very friendly and supportive hosts, the place was clean and spacious with lot of activities. Highly recommended!

This was such a cool experience. The room was cozy and clean, the bathrooms were also very clean and everything you need! The hot tub area was super cool, and of course the pizza oven was awesome to make fresh, quick and easy meal. The owner puts a lot of care and work into the place and it definitely shows. We brought our own ingredients and the oven was hot and ready to go. Loved our stay here, would definitely recommend.

It was excellent, the hobbit hole was very warm and cosy, and the kitchen facilities were very good along with the pizza oven. The showers and bathrooms were also very well kept and the hot tub was a lovely addition. The sauna door didn’t close properly unfortunately when we tried to use it but other than that everything was amazing.

The place was amazing, so incredibly designed and laid out, couldn't fault it at all, we where there for a Hen Party and Stephen was so helpful and kind, we where able to do a hen party themed treasure hunt around the whole place which was amazing

Richtig liebevolle selbstgebaute Unterkünfte. Eine Nacht in der Hobbit Höhle ist etwas besonderes. Bett war bequem. Außerdem gibt es einen Whirlpool.

The Glamping area exceeded my expectations, with a lot of thought going into the facilities and layout. Location is just far enough out for peace and quiet but a short journey into Castlebar.

Best stay so far! Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Mayo Glamping. The facilities are incredible, everything was super clean and it was such an enjoyable experience. We drove there, packed a lot of snacks, dropped our bags and headed into Castlebar for some food, we got a taxi back and enjoyed the hot tub and the warm bedroom. Great alternative to a normal night away!

Very nice was hopping for a hobbit one but ended up in the Harry Potter one It was very nice

The hot tub was the best experience there is and the hut was also warm, cozy and comfortable to sleep in.

I feel like the sauna wasn't hot or steamy enough, I know there was some issues with it but it definitely doesn't take away the experience at the stay.
