Tout était parfait, chambre très agréable et grand espace commun. Petite cuisine à disposition, super pratique ;) Logement super bien situé, en plein centre, on recommande !

Best value for the location. Cleaner than places nearby that have AC. Had 2 fans in our room and they kept us cool. Would have loved to stay longer but hiriketiya was a bit too hectic for me.

Great location, very clean

Nah an beiden Stränden (gut gelegen), haben auch super Empfehlungen bekommen, wo wir außerhalb der Strände hingehen können. Großes Bett, schöner Außenbereich! Außerdem gibt es einen super süßen Hund! Unbedingt anschauen: Blue Beach Island, Turtle Point!

Ist aufgrund der Lage schon etwas lauter, unser Zimmer war in Richtung eines anderen Hotels ausgerichtet, das nachts Techno spielt. Außerdem gibt es einen Affen, der einen morgens manchmal durch lautes Rütteln am Dach eher unsanft weckt. Nichts, wofür die Familie was kann, aber gut zu wissen, falls man einen leichten Schlaf hat. Oropax sind sinnvoll mitzunehmen!

I wish all of my accommodations were this clean and beautiful, I didn’t want to leave. I booked 2 more nights later in the week so I could come back. Best value in hiriketiya.

I liked the location. It was a quick walk to the centre. I loved the shared kitchen where you could make food.

I lived in this beautiful place for 19 days 🥹 I was traveling solo, and honestly, I think it was the perfect place to stay. The room has everything you need, it’s super clean, and you can hear birds singing outside the window 🥰 It’s really close to the surf beach and the main beach. And the hosts are such kind, genuine people. They helped me when I seriously injured my leg while walking around town - they took me to the doctor and surrounded me with so much care that my mom would’ve been so happy to see it. Thank you 🤍🫂 I highly recommend Hiriketiya Ladina Homestay — for me, it’s 100 out of 10 🫶

the location is amazing, peaceful and quiet, yet within walking distance to the center of Hiriketiya and the main beach. the room was very clean and felt really comfortable.

the only thing missing was hot water, but I guess that’s a common issue in Sri Lanka.

This homestay in Hiriketiya was hands down the best and cleanest room I had during my solo travels in southern Sri Lanka. The location is amazing, just a short walk to everything you need—beach, food, shops. The room was simple but spotless, with a great view and a peaceful vibe. It’s not fancy, but it’s excellent value for money. Booking was super easy, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for solo travelers or anyone looking for a quiet, well-kept place in a top location.

My room at Ladina Homestay was small, but clean and comfortable. I liked the bathroom, it was spacious and had good water pressure. On a warmer night the fan was totally enough. The WiFi was a bit on and off, but it didn’t bother me much. The location is nice, both beaches are easy to walk to, and are great eateries close by for a reasonable price. It is a quiet area, a bit further from the busy part of Hiriketiya road. There’s a communal are in front of the rooms, but it is not a very social place. I barely had any contact with the hosts, but they were kind and respectful when I checked in.

It would be great to have a sign on the house (there’s a sign on the main road though), but they responded to my call quickly.

Nice cute homestay not far from the central area. Lovely family running it and nice rooms as well!

The staff were very lovely and very accommodating. Great value for money as you get your own private facilities for a very good rate. Room had a fan so kept nice and cool at night.

Ladina is a cozy and relaxed Homestay. All rooms on the second floor and the hosts live in the ground floor, which gives perfect privacy while they are always available if you need anything. The hosts were kind to help us with washing and scooters when we requested. The room was spacious and very comfy. The room gets really hot in the evening as it is west facing. But we never had any problem to sleep with the fan on, mosquito net, and window open. Fantastic location.

The fan was quite loud if played at maximum speed. The price is a little high for not having air-conditioning, but it balances with exceptional comfort and cleanliness. The bathroom would sometimes have a sewage smell at night. But that is rather common in tropical countries and as long as you keep the door closed there is no problem at all.

Ladina home stay was an absolute pleasure. The host was very accommodating, they even went as far as helping us with all our washing. The location was so perfect, just 5 mins aways from the beach front. We stayed for 4 nights and would happily stay again! Thank you:)

Clean, good location. Hooked me up with a scooter when I asked to, and did my laundry for free.

The hosts were nice but I felt a weird vibe. They knocked at my door a few times while I tried to rest. Very noisy - from the constructions around and the family living downstairs. I think it’s a bit pricey for what you get. I gave them my laundry when I checked in, and when o checked out, 2 days later, I found my clothes hanged and had to take them wet. I’ve rented a scooter and they wanted me to give it back before the 24h is over. After debating with them, they agreed that I will return it in a timely manner.

The rooms are clean and spotless, big enough for a short stay. The outdoor seating area was useful as we traveled as a family and had two rooms. The Homestay is not far from Hiriketiya Beach. The family is super friendly and our son enjoyed playing with their little boy. Would absolutely recommend!

Absolutely great place! Lovely family, great location, room is clean and bed is so comfy! The place is new and doesn’t have lots of reviews but it’s really top notch and perfect place to stay in Hiriketiya!
