Reviewed Sep 3, 2026No pensé que la ubicación fuese tan buena, a solo media cuadra de la calle turística El Conde, a unas cuantas de la plaza Colón y a un par más del malecón, muy buena ubicación. Además me sorprendió el tamaño de la habitación con una cama cómoda. Con respecto a la atención debo decir que fueron muy amables, con una sonrisa y disponibilidad para cualquier pregunta y/o pedido. Agradezco la cordialidad y el hospedaje, que les vaya muy bien en sus proyectos y espero volverlos a ver pronto.

1: Nos dejaron afuera sin abrir la puerta del hostal un buen rato 2: Al entrar, me dicen que la reserva fue cedida a otro huésped..! Es decir me tocó caminar a buscar otro hostal 3: Si tienes una reserva, pienso que estás en el derecho de hacer check-in cuando desees siempre y cuando esté en el rango establecido por el hostal 4: Escribí a decir la hora a la que llegaba con intención de evitar lo sucedido pero no fueron capaces de leer ni responder, simplemente cedieron la habitación a otra persona

lediglich die Kommunikation mit dem Hotel war manchmal etwas verbessrungswürdig. sonst alles in ordnung.

Pratique pour ceux qui souhaite bouger facilement. Clim dans le chambre et le gérant ainsi que sa famille sont super gentils. Le prix est tres intéressant

De douche werd niet echt warm en de hond van de buren kon in de nacht nog wel eens gaan blaffen. Oordopjes is handig om mee te nemen!

The small kitchen was great to have tea etc in the evening. It is only about 40 steps to the main pedestrian street El Conde. The owner was friendly and helpful even though with my broken Spanish we communicated with google. The tv worked and had movies and Netflix. For the price I think this accommodation is unbeatable in Santo Domingo.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Everything was very simple and efficient. It’s a family-run place. When I arrived I was still recovering from food poisoning and the owner bought me some bananas and gave me some crackers.
It’s a little noisy because of barking dogs out back and the open air flow into the hallway, but at least it wasn’t on a main street in the Zona Colonial. Plus, it’s pretty hard to find anywhere quiet in the DR, and that’s partly what makes it exciting.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Per una notte può andare bene, almeno la stanza che avevo io. Piccola per due, nessun possibilità di stendere una maglietta o biancheria per farla asciugare.
Purtroppo la pulizia inesistente ed è talmente superficiale che la doccia era stata "lavata" con lo straccio dei pavimenti e asciugando erano rimaste le striature nere. L'acqua calda ancora un mistero. Ho anche il dubbio che la signora non cambi tutte le lenzuola, ma solo quello di sopra. Peccato perché è in un a buona zona e con piccole accortezze, si potrebbe migliorare il soggiorno di molto.

The lady owner doesn't speak english so Google Translate may be needed. I had a taxi booked for 6.30am pickup. The front door was double locked. I had to get the taxi driver to phone the owner to let me out.

Já sabíamos que não havia café da manhã, mas isso não foi problema porque há um excelente supermercado próximo e uma cozinha no local onde preparamos nosso café. D. Esmeralda foi maravilhosa, inclusive comapartilhou itens e alimentos pessoais conosco. Durante 4 dias, nos sentimos parte da família. A localização é excelente para visitar o centro histórico. David, filho de d. Esmeralda, foi muito atencioso respondendo muitas perguntas antes de chegarmos. Super indico.
Gostei de tudo.

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026A family run place tucked behind the busy and noisy main stretches in Las Terrenas. You'll be staying in a bungalow with everything you need. The bathroom is really sleek and the coffee they provide is fantastic! (I would like to ask brand is it?) We especially loved hanging out at the beautiful pool with their three dogs, each with their own unique personalities) For its location, the pool, and even just for the dogs - highly recommend this place! Merci!

Room needs MAJOR cleaning (there was pubic hair all over the bathroom). It also had a very strong and unpleasant smell. It was hard to sleep because of the noise that came from the reception and corridor.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Superb location right next to the main pedestrian area of the old city. Convenient to reach the main square, supermarkets, restaurants, and historic landmarks. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and the showers have hot water. A real bargain for the quality and highly recommended if you are in Santo Domingo.
The bed was not so supportive but it was ok!
