It was very comfortable in a great location with excellent public transport links

Location was good. Staff are polite. Cleanliness maintained.

A small wardrobe to keep clothes would have been appreciated,as it had been a 15 nights stay. Due to space constraints, the refrigerator in the room was unnecessary as the shared kitchen already had a refrigerator.

I was very satisfied to be able to stay there! Kitchen was not so big but it was not problem because we could buy food near the hotel. Swimming pool is also nice to cool down for hot days. It was nice to have terrace 6th floor, I just sit there. It is not easy to travel to Singapore for us but I would like to book there if I can go there again. Thank you so much!

Everything went very well! The staff was so helpful and flexible! I loved the location since it was right next to the MRT and a shopping mall with a market.

They took a 200 SGD security deposit from my credit card and it took a month to release back to me. I don’t know if it was from their side or my bank but just good to know! :)

Close to parkway and Joo Chiat which was what we wanted. Bonus was the new train line.

Was a bit small with two bathrooms in a small space. The sofa bed was not comfortable so my dad had to book another room in Villiage hotel.

Le prix correct pour Singapour, l’emplacement près du bus et du MRT, dans un quartier authentique et tellement charmant près des maisons peranakan, l’amabilité du personnel. Nous avions une suite de deux chambres avec deux salles de bain, et un petit espace cuisine avec frigo, plaques de cuisson et micro-onde ce qui était parfait pour 3 personnes, chacun son lit. Les lits étaient confortables.

Les deux chambres de la suite s’ouvrent avec une carte clé (chaque carte ouvre une seule des deux chambres) qui est aussi nécessaire pour avoir l’électricité dans la chambre, et les chambres se ferment lorsque la porte (très lourde) claque, cela peut poser un problème si vous voyagez seul avec deux enfants. Si un jeune enfant s’enferme volontairement ou pas dans l’une des chambres, vous ne pourrez pas y entrer.

– Location: Love the central location near MRT, shopping malls, two local hawkers that opened late, and the Joo Chiat main streets with lots of eateries from different cultures, cafes, souvenir shops and activities to do. Lots of Peranakan heritage housings in the neighbourhood. Also close to the restaurant that created the original Singapore Chilli Crab. – Amenities: Well-supplied stay with free frozen snacks near reception and coin-op laundry machines, place also has a small swimming pool and a rooftop garden area. – Staff: everyone was friendly and approachable, very satisfied with their customer service.

– Shared kitchenettes/fridge area: not a big deal but I'd prefer to have my own fridge. But this was advertised when I booked so I knew and accepted the shared kitchen amenities.

i was travelling alone so i booked the single room. it was cosy and had everything i needed and so it was a pleasant surprise. Singapore is hot and humid and the air conditioning in the room was very good and kept the temperature at a comfortable level. Eateries and shopping centres were within walking distances from this location. i would most certainly be looking to stay here again if i came by these parts.

even though i had the DO NOT DISTURB sign hung outside my room, the cleaners were noisy in the mornings doing their job, and so my sleep was disturbed. also, during check-in, my passport was photo-copied, and the copy was put in a stack along with the others ( other guests who had checked-in ). in this day and age where scams and identity theft is rampant, i cannot help but worry what would happen if these photocopied documents fell into the wrong hands.

Location was fantastic. Very convenient for shopping. Mall across the road. MRT short walk. Airport less than 15 minutes drive. We booked the Executive Suite for 2 adults and 1 child. Having 2 toilets and 2 showers was handy. The kitchenette was also a plus.

Space is a little tight. However nice area upstairs on the top floor for space and relaxing.

Great location, only 2-3 minutes from the MRT (subway), and very short walk to 2 nearby malls. Plenty of eating options close by. Staff also very helpful and friendly. Free ice creams a nice touch!

Out of the centre of town but very well located in a buzzy local neighbourhood with plenty of shops, restaurants and a quick MRT ride into the centre of the city. Simple accom but very clean and modern with friendly staff. Quiet, and we had great sleeps.

I like the location, it had a lot of food options nearby from breakfast to supper. The service apt had everything you will need, so it is very convenient and easy to stay.

The rooms were a little small, I had a lot of luggages, but the staff were very kind to offer storage for my stay.

Ease of connectivity. The bus stop just outside brings us to Bedok interchange which has a lot of amenities. The opposite bus stop brings us to Kallang, City Hall and Orchard Road within 30 minutes. Dakota Station on the CCL is also 10 minutes along the bus route. Marine Parade Station on the TEL is within 5 minutes walk of the location. Parkway Parade and i12 Katong are within easy walking distance. Several eateries and cafes are also along Marine Parade Road and East Coast Road

Slightly inconvenient that reception was closed after 5.30pm as required more planning than a normal hotel. Room was also very small for a couple for a longish stay.

Sehr moderne Einrichtung, wirklich blitzsauber, kleine Zimmer aber top und hochwertig ausgestattet. Tolle Betten, ruhig. Das tollste ist die Dachterrasse (siehe Foto), die hätten wir gerne mit nach Hause genommen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter! Die Lage ist Mega - nach links 3 Min. entfernt eine MRT Station, in 8 Min zu Fuß am Meer, nach rechts im hippen Katong lauter kleine Läden. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten! Unten gab es jeden Tag kostenloses Eis - eine sehr nette Geste.

ac was a bit difficult to work with, either blasting cold air or off. the fact that you need to take your card to go to the fridge and back, turning the lights off I the process. not much to do about that... the door stopper didn't really work, door pull was quite strong. the near metro line is not yet finished in the direction to expo, which I didn't realize before going, for some reason.

Arrived late and received clear instructions for self check in. Fiendly staff. Thoughtful touches like free popsicles and snacks for guests. Rooftop terrace very pleasant. Convenient location for public transport. Pool was tiny but nice!

Nicely designed, although can be a little tight. Location is good as bus stop to town is right in front and MRT is a 10min walk.

This place is so good, I want to keep it a secret, so it’s available in the future! The location is amazing- all the bus and TEC line within a block. The best food options in Singapore. My room was very quiet- even with the window open it was very serene. I loved the rooftop. This area gets a nice ocean breeze so it was a refreshing, partly shaded place to hangout, and quiet! The staff was so nice, there are so many little things like an ice cream bar at the end of a hot walk, the nice cold filtered water, very good cleaning staff.

It all depends on the person, but the bed was pretty firm- maybe because it’s new.

The location was excellent for the station and shopping mall. The beds had good quality linen on them and were very comfortable.

The place was chosen as it is near to my children's place on the East Coast Road.No restaurants or breakfast in the house, but a kettle in the kitchenette, and free teabags at the reception, and a toaster, plus basic dishes.( 9- 18.00 h) There is a terrace on the 6th flor with BBQ possibility, and a small pool downstairs. Basic accommodation, small, but very clean, a bedroom and a small " living room" with 2 adjoining bathrooms and a kitchenette. air-condition separate for the rooms. Serviced 2x a week, with change of towels, and change of bedlinen once. The double bed is very comfortable I did like the independence, the cleanliness and the 2 separate shower rooms, (showers are excellents,) the ladies downstairs were very helpful (9-18.00) Good possibilities for public transport. 2 very good shopping centres in walking distance ( Parkway Parade and i12 Katong)

I am a coffee drinker, I would have appreciated a coffee machine, but there are places around in close proximity to have breakfast ( i12 shopping center, small cafés on East Coast Road). There are no reading lights at the bed( table is only on one side, so reading in the bedroom is not comfortable) .

Amazing value compared to other solo traveler stays in Singapore, new room. Small but thoughtfully designed. Nice shower, comfortable bed, lots of storage space. Front desk was kind and helpful whenever I interacted with them. Very close to MRT, which also serves as an underground pass to a hawker area and mall with decent food options, as well as a long waterfront jogging/cycling road.

Location is great, restaurants, bars and supermarket nearby! The building is new, the rooms are very clean, the bed is comfortable, the pool is small but nice and the roof top is great especially at night!

The bedrooms are small, the kitchenette is very small with only 1 cooking hob, the fridge is a mini bar one so cannot fit much in there, don't expect to cook anything there..

Washroom window in one of the room has external window, and withe the washroom lighted up. One can see our shadow from outside.

Our overall stay was excellent. Firstly, despite it being a weekend evening, the hotel provided us with in-person check-in service, which made our check-in process very smooth. The parking service offered by the hotel was also very convenient. The room was not very large but well-designed, which was particularly beneficial for our family with a baby, as it allowed for a separate sleeping area for the baby. The amenities and supplies provided were very comprehensive. Items such as towels were available through self-service and could be replenished promptly. The hotel is located in Katong. As we have lived in Singapore for five years and this is not our first visit, we are quite familiar with the area, making it very convenient to travel anywhere. It was a very pleasant stay, and we will definitely book again.

The staff were lovely and helped me before and during the stay whenever I had questions about anything. The property is fairly new so everything was clean, and very well maintained. It was very convenient as there were a lot of bus stops nearby that could take you to central areas, but there were plenty of local supermarkets and good hawker places nearby. Rooftop area is a nice quiet place to chill out, the washing machine, drying area and the small kitchenette was helpful as I stayed for a certain amount of time. This place is a gem and I would stay here again if I visit Singapore again!

The property is amazing, the best location near i12 shopping centre, countless food places, short walk to a large hawker centre. The pool is amazing and the property is very nice, quiet, clean and aesthetically nice. Two lifts that service the property never waited more than 5secs for one. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooftop is a must, very nice place to relax and have a tea. Use of the washing machine was a life saver and great to have ($8 to use, liquid soap included) they have a dryer for the same cost, but the property provides hanging racks in certain locations which is very helpful. Rooms very clean, bed comfortable, smart tv, lots of PowerPoints even with a usb port. Bathroom is very comfortable and clean. A huge plus is if you find yourself short on towels, toilet paper or soap they have some available for self collection outside of hours.

The only issue, was the size of the room with twin beds was a slight squeeze, but not entirely uncomfortable.

Excellent location , good clean room , excellent bathroom , more than enough toiletries and towels provided. But more importantly the staff is exceptional and we’re so helpful. They made my stay memorable and really appreciated their help in resolving issue even out of hour.the laundry machine works well as does the dryer. There is a good iron in laundry room. Room is compact (as as many spaces in Singapore)and I was upgraded to a standard room which was much appreciated as I ended up with double the bags I came with and the standard room was about right size to hold my stuff . The standard room would work well for a couple also. The kitchenette is all right for heating up food in microwave, making tea/coffee and I made instant noodles on the hot plate and it worked fine. The mini fridge also decent size to hold essentialsfor breakfast.lovely terrace with bbq that I didn’t get to use due to lack of time. Same with pool, it’s small but would be good to lounge about

Our stay did not include breakfast. As we had no neighbour in the next apartment, it was great that we did not have to share the kitchen. Located next to bus stop that goes all the way to Bedok Interchange. Location was great , opposite I12 Katong and 10 mins walk to Parkway Parade & Hawker.

Mini fridge was really small. Only weekly room service was done. There were not much walking space in room, though on internet, it looked much more spacious. Not much storage cupboard and bedside table really confined.

The room is small and packed as expected from most places in SG. I stayed in a single room with a shared kitchenette next to a double room in the apart. The shared kitchenette has a sink (+ you can drink tap water in SG), kettle, a small fridge, and a microwave. The single room has a private toilet&bathroom, a small table with a study lamp (if you like to use a computer or read a book) hair dryer, a big screen TV, and a low-noise air-con. The bathroom has all these small amenities such as a toothbrush, showering gel shampoos, etc. Plus, there is free wifi in the room. -The reception staff were so nice and friendly. -The place is newly renovated, so everything is new in the room. -Everything was so clean. -There is a daily disposal of garbage service available. Apart from this, weekly room cleaning is part of the service provided. -The location was great. (Katong-Joo Chiat is famous for its historical Peranakan culture. I would recommend taking advantage of your location to discover more.) -The place is <=1hr away from all other popular places. -You can find many shopping malls, cafes, and supermarkets like FairPrice/NTUC or ColdStorage nearby. -You can also find many places to eat your meals around (If you are Muslim and looking for Halal, there are plenty of them as well). -The East Coast Park and Beach are 10 minutes away by walking. (This is one of the best places in SG whether you prefer a picnic, a short walk, just sitting and watching the sea, running, or cycling.)
