Amazing location , gorgeous beaches , plenty of space , nice yoga spot , very good food , lovely kids club stuff - kids enjoyed staying there even though it was not that big . We loved our vacation a lot . The only question- why the water in all swimming pools were so cold (21 C max ) in the beginning of August with 30+ temperatures during the day - otherwise it was just perfect .

The best thing about Xanadu Island is undoubtedly its exceptional location. The crystal-clear water and breathtaking views make it a truly beautiful and unforgettable place. The staff are excellent—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Ibrahim for handling every request so quickly and efficiently. His professionalism and responsiveness made our stay even more enjoyable.

One aspect that could be improved is the hotel’s policy regarding sunbed reservations. Guests should not be allowed to reserve sunbeds by leaving towels or personal belongings on them for long periods without actually using them. This practice is unfair to other guests and does not contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable holiday experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein aussergewöhnliches Hotel – wir gehen sehr gerne wieder! Unser Aufenthalt im Xanadu Island Bodrum war von Anfang bis Ende einfach hervorragend. Schon beim Check-in wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist wunderschön, gepflegt und bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Sauberkeit – sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Restaurants, Pools und alle öffentlichen Bereiche waren jederzeit makellos. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig, modern eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Das Housekeeping hat ausgezeichnete Arbeit geleistet und alles war täglich in perfektem Zustand. Das Essen war ein echtes Highlight. Die Auswahl war gross, abwechslungsreich und von hoher Qualität. Jeden Tag gab es neue Gerichte, frische Zutaten und eine hervorragende Präsentation. Auch die À-la-carte-Restaurants und Bars haben uns begeistert. Besonders positiv fiel uns auf, wie aufmerksam auf Sauberkeit und Hygiene geachtet wurde. Ein grosses Kompliment gilt dem gesamten Team. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren aussergewöhnlich freundlich, professionell und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft und exzellenten Service gelegt wird. Jeder Wunsch wurde mit einem Lächeln erfüllt. Auch die ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre hat uns sehr gefallen. Trotz der Grösse der Anlage hatten wir nie das Gefühl, dass es überfüllt war. Es gab jederzeit genügend Platz an den Pools und am Strand, sodass wir unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen geniessen konnten. Das Xanadu Island Bodrum überzeugt in jeder Hinsicht und ist aus unserer Sicht eines der besten Hotels, in denen wir bisher unseren Urlaub verbringen durften. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt. Otelin konumu, denizi, manzarası ve fiziksel olanakları çok başarılı

Öncelikle belirtmek isterim ki karşılaştığımız sorunların büyük çoğunlüğü çalışanlardan değil, personel yetersizliğinden kaynaklanıyor. Görev yapan ekip son derece güler yüzlü, nazik ve özveriliydi. Ancak bu yoğunluğu karşılayacak sayıda personel bulunmadığı açıkça hissediliyordu. Özellikle barlarda servis veren personel büyük bir gayret gösterse de sayı olarak yetersiz kaldıkları için hizmetlerde gecikmeler yaşanıyordu. Aynı durum öğle servisinde de kendini gösteriyordu. Masalarda kullanılan tabaklar uzun süre toplanamıyor, personel yetişmekte zorlanıyordu. Sahil bölümünde gün boyunca kullanılmış havluların ve boş bardakların uzun süre şezlonglarda kaldığını gördük. Bu nedenle boş olan birçok şezlong dolu gibi görünüyor ve misafirler gereksiz yere yer aramak zorunda kalıyordu. Ortak alanlardaki tuvaletler özellikle yoğun saatlerde yeterince sık kontrol edilip temizlenmiyordu. Bu kalite ve standarttaki bir otelde ortak alan hijyenine daha fazla özen gösterilmesini beklerdim. Animasyon ekibi ise maalesef beklentimizin altında kaldı. Gün içerisinde misafirlerle iletişim kuran, ortamı canlandıran ve etkinlikleri yönlendiren profesyonel bir ekip yerine daha pasif bir görüntü sergiliyorlardı. Akşamları sahne kenarında bulunmaları dışında misafirlerle yeterince etkileşim kurduklarını göremedik. Tüm bu eleştirilerime rağmen şunu özellikle vurgulamak isterim ki Xanadu Island Bodrum hâlâ çok güzel bir tesis.

Ana restoranda servis edilen yemeklerde genel olarak lezzet eksikligi vardi. Ayrica otelde bir karasinek sorunu var. Plajda sineklerden dogru duzgun dinlenemiyorsunuz ve yemek yerken cok rahatsiz ediyorlar. Otelden bu konuda destek isteyincede aldigim cevap cok musteri odakli ve misafir perver degildi. Beni direk supermarketten sinek kovucu almaya yonlendirdiler ve otelin en buyuk sorunlarindan bir tanesinin cozumunu bana delege ettiler

Excellent hôtel

This hotel has a fantastic location. The view of the islands and open sea are magnificent. All gardens are kept in impeccable shape. There are 4 beaches for every taste , as we were at the beginning of the season and it was windy , we were staying only on one beach. It was protected from the wind. The water is pristine clean ! There are a lot of fish in the sea. The food in the Turkish restaurant was exceptionally good. We gained 2 kg during 10 days mainly on meatballs and grilled fish. Someone from the kitchen has a very good sense of humour naming the dishes. The chicken of Monaco was the winner ! :) Service of ironing clothes free of charge was a nice option. This hotel has so much space, that everybody can find the right spot for themselves. Several swimming pools, bowling , ping pong, spa are the attraction. As we were there when the hotel was celebrating the 16th anniversary, we enjoyed the live music , played by a trio of beautiful musicians. The WiFi works everywhere . We wish all the best to the owners and all staff ! Can't wait to come again! All the best .

This was our third stay at Xanadu, and we stayed for 9 days. We love the sea—it is the resort's greatest asset. Unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing this time, and we even got sick one day. It seemed that the focus was on quantity and presentation rather than quality. Check-in took nearly two hours and was unpleasant. Sadly, the facilities appear to be deteriorating. There are also too many smoking areas throughout the resort. It would be nice to have more smoke-free spaces for guests. We truly appreciate the staff—they were very helpful. In particular, Mucait, Alparen, Fatma, and Eda went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

I got injured in the hotel almost died and they didn't take any responsibility We also found a piece of plastic in ice cream what almost hurt our kids mouth The superiors doesn't care about their guests life. They basically sent me to hell and told me that all what happened it's mistake and they don't agree to compensate me at any way

A couple of our requests were not fulfilled timely or at all (laundry, AC malfunction). Also, laundry services are unreasonably priced (2 or more euros per garment).

Amazing nature around and that’s only 5star. Young guys driving us with buggy’s ware very kind and helpful.

Service 2-3star We was invited to spa with 25% discount which we never got. Even do we had the paper where it was clearly written. Also when we ordered taxi to the airport we asked for taxi with card machine but we got one whiteout card machine.

3rd time in Xanadu island, Their food is just as great as before. the resort cleanness and landscaping is also on point. The welcoming was even better this time. Reception staff are very helpful and helped us with late checkout. Barber is great. New Photographers are great. I took a nice album. Kids club and kids playground are nice as well.

House keeping staff forgets to refill consumables, takes long when you request for something. And you can see dirty shoes marks on the floor even after the staff cleans. Room shower is very nice in terms of space, in our room unfortunately the water temperature keeps flipping between cold and hot. The TVs in the rooms are old and limited. They definitely must be upgraded with castable TVs for a resort at this price point. The gym needs expansion and more free weights. More water/pool slides for kids would be nice.

This is an all inclusive resort with high class touch. It was a family reunion for us that brought my Canadian and Turkish families together (25 people in total). The hotel had everything we needed. All the rooms had a sea view and were very clean and really beautiful. The food at open buffet and à la carte restaurants were very high quality. They were all like real expensive restaurant dishes. The variety was so much that we did not get bored of. The main bar upstairs had amazing cocktails (again high end restaurant quality). The entertainment was something else. They bring bands from all over the world. Finally, the hotel is secluded, as it is located on a peninsula. Infinite pool and the view was amazing. My Canadian family loved it. We will definitely come back.

Xanadu Island Bodrum Akyarlar Oteli’nden son derece memnun kaldık. Otele giriş yaptığımız andan itibaren resepsiyon ekibinin karşılaması ve ilgisi bizi çok mutlu etti. Tüm personelin güler yüzlü, ilgili ve samimi yaklaşımı tatilimizin en güzel yanlarından biriydi. Tesisin temizliği, odaların konforu ve genel hizmet kalitesi mükemmeldi. Özellikle restaurant hizmetleri son derece iyiydi; yemeklerin lezzeti, sunumlar ve servis personelinin ilgisi gerçekten takdire şayandı. Otelden ayrılırken dahi ilgi ve alakaları eksilmedi. Bizi Türk usulü uğurladılar, arkamızdan su döktüler, “Yolunuz su gibi açık olsun” diyerek güzel dileklerle yolcu ettiler. Huzurlu, keyifli ve kaliteli bir tatil için kesinlikle doğru adres. Bodrum’da konaklamak isteyen herkese gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim. Tüm Xanadu Island Bodrum Akyarlar ekibine bu güzel tatil için teşekkür ederiz.

À éviter surtout ! personnel mal honnête, on nous a facturé une chambre pour 5 personnes alors que nous étions que 4. Ils ont préféré le silence pour éviter de nous rembourser nos 500 € facturé sans aucun justificatif. Booking n'a absolument pas été coopératif puisque malgré les justificatifs envoyés, a préféré couvrir l'hôtel. C'est une honte. Si ne voulait pas perdre ni votre temps ni votre argent fuyez cet hôtel et réservez en dehors de booking, chose que je ferais désormais!

staff are very good. They may not speak very good English and everyone tried their best to help us. We had an incident during our stay and the staff there have supported us well.

The food choice can be richer. For example, you can provide food from other regions (such as Asian) to attract Asian Travellers

The quality of everything, the location, the snorkelling is amazing, the beaches are really good. Everything is exceptional. Also, we are lovers of cats, the cats in Turkey are amazing and so beautiful and friendly.

Nothing, we like everything. The spa was a little bit smelly that was the only thing. So we didn’t go in it more than once.

Real island feel. Lovely views and sunsets. Peaceful. Great facilities - and no one there! Literally had run of resort to ourselves.

Access to the à la carte restaurants a little limited.

Прекрасны персонал, в целом очень дружественный. Красивые виды, очень. Номера простоваты, но вполне удобны. Каких то сломанных или сильно изношенных вещей я не увидел. Шведский стол вроде бы небольшой, но всегда было что то вкусное. Отель определённо про уединение. На самом деле территория отеля не очень большая, но очень много зон с лежаками по периметру полуострова.

Анимации можно сказать нет, но это не столько минус, сколько видимо концепция отеля. Не понравилась идея самому каждый раз просить обновить минибар. С одной стороны он включён в стоимость, с другой делать вы будете это на сайте на турецком языке. О, и 3 канала на русском языке, в основном с рекламой и какими то странными сериалами. Если возмодно, хотелось бы конечно расширить список.

Being on an “island” provides a peaceful environment with beautiful views. Food is excellent. Facilities are excellent. Exceptional place to relax and enjoy

The location is stunning ! The views are amazing! It’s slightly older hotel , but the rooms are big and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The All inclusive is very convenient . Also the water pressure in the bathrooms was great. Really good cocktails.

The food was the only let down , the buffet is the same every night and the quality of the food is low. There are a few hits but the rest is not good . The A la cart restaurants are always full and it hard to get a booking.
