The washroom has a strong moth ball smell especially upstairs washroom. Not suitable for kids with G6PD.

Reviewed Dec 18, 2025My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Qloud Cottage. The place was clean and cozy, and it looked the same as shown in the pictures. The homestay has 4 bedrooms with queen-sized beds and 2 bathrooms with toilets. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. Check-in was easy and the host replied promptly through WhatsApp. Deposit was also refunded through the bank within the same day of checking out when the host found his place was left in proper order without damage.
However, the temperature for hot water in the bathroom was difficult to control, and the stairs to the 3 rooms upstairs were rather steep. Luckily there was one room with a king-sized bed downstairs.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2025Cost and has complete utilities - even plates & utensils were more than enough. They even have toaster, coffee maker, microwave. Couldn’t as for a better place. Check in / out was super smooth and easy. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

Instant hot water heater for shower was inefficient. Could not heat up the cold water fast enough and so showers were challenging when cold with very small flow of hot water. If water flow fr heater is turned up, water is cold . This is my only peeve about the place. All else was very good

There’s only one room on ground floor, and the stairs is quite steeps if elderly can only take the ground room but generally it was okay for us

Reviewed Jan 15, 2024Location was ideal. Walking distance to Mesilou 3Sixty Peak which has a nice view of Mount Kinabalu and a short drive to Desa Dairy Farm. Rooms were clean and comfortable for 5 adults and 2 children. Everything else was perfect!
The water heater for the ground floor bathroom wasn't hot enough. It was working but would be better if could be hotter. Thankfully, there is another bathroom on the second floor!

Reviewed Dec 18, 2023Not enough toilet paper Can't see Mount Kinabalu There was a split level pose at kitchen dangerous cause easily trip step up and down Downstairs room windows should have grill for safety Should have mosquito net at all windows Windows should have blackout curtains cause house beside can see through when changing clothes and sunrise also make us wake early in the morning Kitchen utensils quite lacking Water heater was not working good Rice cooker also not working well.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2023Very clean and surprisingly complete. It got everything that I need for my stay there. There’s even wifi and a smart tv.
Parking can be tricky if there’s 4 cars. But very doable. If there’s netting on the windows, windows can be opened at night without worry of insects. Tissues should be provided for toilets. Should have coffee tables at living area.
