A la mañana no tenia agua para ducharme. Y nunca pude hablar con encargado. Todo por mail.

Location close to the beach and the airport.

Lock box without number, beeper is unresponsive most of the time, TV is not connecting properly, AC is really noisy, stairs from the parking lot are difficult if you have big suitcases, parking is first come first serve and airport noise is loud.

The pool and the proximity to the beach

The water pressure wasn’t up to my standards when taking a shower, and the shower had mold in it. In addition, the pullout bed for my guest was not comfortable, it had springs that was poking through the mattress. Moreover, the keys trying to get into the room should have been easier to access and didn’t want to enter through the garage every time we had to come back to the room. The garage area was not lit up and there was no lights so my safety was in jeopardy and anyone could have walked up on me and did God only knows what. Furthermore, it was brought to my attention that checkout was at 12 but the concierge’s was at my door at 11:30 asking why am still present in the room. I would rate my stay two stars because I enjoyed the pool in the proximity to the beach.

The communication between the owners. They gave us a different key in the lockbox for a different room which I explained that to the girl but she acted confused. Then the girl that was supposed to have a different room, had the same key to ours and it let her in, 2 same room 307 keys. Then the guys finally responded later on and said we needed to switch rooms around 6pm so that was hectic cuz we only stayed till midnight just to catch our flight. Really unorganized, guys was rude.

My tiolet boul kept backing up waist and fluded the floors.we were up half of the night sweaping wait water out the door which had a terrible order. It took for ever toget email as to how to get my Keys. Staffing would not answer my calls.

ENGLISH: I rarely write negative reviews, but in this case I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. My stay at Verdemar Apartments (Isla Verde, Puerto Rico) was so disappointing that I had to leave the very same day and book another hotel, losing the full amount I had already paid, as no refund was offered. From the moment I arrived, everything was problematic. Accessing the keys was almost impossible — I actually had to rely on a neighbor for help because there were no clear instructions or proper assistance. Not a great start. While the apartment itself wasn’t dirty, the overall condition was quite poor. It felt neglected, badly maintained, and generally run-down. To make matters worse, the toilet was clogged. That was the final straw — staying there was simply not an option. It might look like a cheaper alternative to a traditional hotel in Isla Verde, but trust me, it’s not worth it. You’re far better off paying a bit more for a place that meets basic standards of comfort, maintenance, and customer service. I hope this review helps anyone considering booking here. Unfortunately, it was an experience I would not repeat under any circumstances.

The location close to the airport

There was mildew on the shower curtain and dead roach on the floor .

I had a confirmed reservation. I sent in my ID and payment. I Ubered across town to get there. They tell me to update my payment, I update it. After that, NO Reply. No communication. They just stopped messaging me. I wasted 4 hours trying to talk to them. It ruined my Saturday night. I went to another hotel.

No staff for in case of emergency ,the facility is in a need of maintenance ( stove old not working) hallway missing tiles ( dangerous, )Lockbox needs to be more clear identify

Best thing about property is location. Very close to airport. Walkable to restaurants, and many stores, The beach is close by, and property has a nice pool.

I did not like the drop box situation. Very confusing, drop box are not identified accurately. Spent some time identifying drop box. Had to text several times, another guest experienced the same, luckily he was able to help, after calling someone.

No lo recomiendo. Cortina del baño sucia y con moho, la lámpara del cuarto llena de polvo. Cafetera horrible, sólo una hornilla de la estufa servía pero calentaba poco. El microondas horrible. La cama con un hoyo tremendo en el medio, las sábanas apestaban y tenían chinches que picaban. Las toallas viejas y olían raro. Etc etc horrible lugar...

I would like to say it was an amazing place for a great price close to everything cant go wrong staying here.

No breakfast is available on this property however there is plenty of eateries in the area location is great it’s located at the beginning of the tourist area the room we rented was very dated but clean the bathroom sink and shower knobs didn’t work (couldn’t adjust hot or cold water stayed lukewarm) it’s a safe location no security issues ( although we had problems with the lobby key it didn’t work) alright for a short stay wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay

Communication is a big problem here we had difficulty contacting the owner there is no staff on the property to assist you check in needs major improvements many of the apartments are individually owned and rented so there’s no one there to help (check in at night would be a major concern)

Ubicacion

The beach is walking distance and the neighborhood is pretty active for food and social life.

It doesnt feel like a clean place also humidity of the room; when we arrived the floor was all wet and there was a mop we use to dry it. The roof is made of a very bad material that make us allergic because it retains a lot of humidity, we still have both scratchy eyes and allergy, we had to leave the place first time of the day. The room is right on top of a bar or something pretty active so it was noisy all night. The Host communication was very poor and he didnt want to talk on the phone.

I could not stay at this place. When I arrived the host told me (without opening the door) that there was "a little problem". When I asked, he said the ceiling had collapsed.

I did not find out there was a problem until I arrived. No one notified me in advanced to avoid getting there for nothing.

Communication re checking in was poor. Going back 2 weeks I sent pictures of ID & credit card. On day of arrival there were no details re check in . After hours,of texting I got details. There were 2 box #3, and thanks to another guest there, I finally got keys. It was very frustrating. Because of a bar next to the apt, there was a noisy nightvlife all night until about 2 a.m. and I was up at 3 a.m. for an early flight. (I know the noise is not the fault of the apt manager)

This review is completely useless. It's Puerto Rico. Nothing will ever change. Par for the course.

The community body wash / shampoo / conditioner is definitely pretty disgusting. Stop being cheap and buy the small individual bottles of shampoo and conditioner and the small bars of soap. I highly doubt that expense is going to sink your business but hey, get every penny you can, right?

Location was good for us, close to SJU

My debit card was declined 2 times and owner was hard to reach to resolve. We were left standing in the street, then the same card worked through PayPal. Lock box was ancient, hard to open. A/C barely worked, very loud, and right over our heads. No WiFi password PO rovided and owner wouldn't provide it via text. Ceiling falling down. Tiny. Old. Very disappointed.

Could not get into location called multiple times no answer had to sleep in my car !!

No TV No router No internet Poor communication. Poor instructions as to retrieving and location of the key. No instruction as to returning and securing the key in the lock box. Lock box was malfunctioning. Texted owner. Received instructions while we were at the airport.

After I showed at check in time of 300pm the proprietor never answered my phone calls, emails, texts. I had to book another hotel for the nite. When I awoke I noticed the proprietorship sent the info. At 9pm.

Perfect location, access to all areas, highways, malls, restaurant, beaches, etc. Pool on site.

If you are traveling for some peace, quiet and relaxation, this is not the place for you. The studio is located above a 24/7 bar, with no doors, and no windows. activity is non-stop up till 0600 hrs. of the morning on most occasions, 0400 hrs. on some weekdays. Additionally, the room is not soundproof, you rater sleep with the tv on to go to sleep. Now, if you like that kind of environment, you can go downs stairs and join them.

I loved the location.

The futon was worse than sleeping on rocks. There was only one roll of toilet paper. The wifi couldn’t be connected to. The communication with the management was non-existent.

Manager or who ever handles check in did not answer my calls or texts about how to check in. Didn’t get to stay. Left me stranded for the night.

I liked that I was pretty close to alot of restaurants and stores. I wasn't far from the airport and old San Juan. The Best part was that I could walk to the beach.

I didn't like that if you used the towels there was a $10 fee for each one and the air conditioning could have been better.

The Apt needs a complete overhaul bathroom is very tiny you well barely fit. The Apt is right above a bar that stays open until 4am.

A flimsy, old, soft mattress, difficult to sleep on it. There was water on the floor in the bathroom, looks like it was coming out from the commode.
