De douches (vol met zwart aan de onderkanten) Geen zorg voor katten..wij hebben daar eten gekocht maar er waren heel wat katten in die straat met oog infecties.

We stayed as a family of four with adult children and had a wonderful stay. The communication and support from Sylvie was excellent from the moment we booked and throughout our stay. The Riad was absolutely beautiful and perfectly located. We were very well looked after by Oussama and Omar. We loved the wonderful people, colours, smells and general vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech, a fantastic sensory overload! Many thanks and hope to return!

- Uitstekende service van Ousama en perfecte communicatie met Sylvie. - Riad heel stijlvol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien inclusief 2 heerlijk frisse dompelbadjes. - Perfecte locatie: zeer makkelijk bereikbaar met auto(slechts 3 minuten lopen vanaf parkeerplaats), en toch in de Medina op slechts 15 minuten lopen naar Jemaa Al Fna plein.

Alles beviel aan deze Riad.

De service van de mensen ter plaatse, de bereikbaarheid van de eigenaar, vlotte info en hulp. Deze mensen gaan all the way om je te helpen en bedienen. Aankomst op de luchthaven, taxi ter plaatse zoals geregeld. Aankomst aan de medina, waar de riad gelegen is, worden we aan de taxi opgewacht door Oussama, met brede lach. Al snel zijn we op ons gemak gestelt en weten we, dit was de juiste keuze. Uitleg in en rond huis, indien nodig een tip links of rechts. 9 nachten rust en ontspanning. Snachts is Omar de man van dienst, maar zo discreet, dat je niet eens weet dat hij er is. Zaira maakt het team compleet en zorgt er voor dat het huis proper is. Deze woning is van alle gemakken voorzien, zonder overdrijven. Ik boek deze riad met de ogen dicht opnieuw. Als je 2 seconden twijfelt of je deze riad wel zou boeken, dan heb je te lang getwijfeld. Zeer graag tot zeer snel 😀

Tegenvallen? Na 9 nachten wou ik zeer graag nog 9 maand extra blijven ! Verander niks!

Situation geographique top ! Vous avez accès à bcp de chose à pied ! Hyper bien pensé et décoré, je me suis sentie très confortable dans ce Riad. Nous étions 6 et c etait suffisamment spacieux pour toute la famille. Oussama, le « concierge » a été adorable et de tres bon conseils. Je recommande cette location à tous ceux qui veulent découvrir Marrakech.

Rien, peut être les travaux à côté qui étaient bruyant durant l’apm.

Ce Riad est un vrai bijou, très propre avec une jolie décoration. Le personnel est formidable et discret à la fois. Les 2 bassins et la terrasse à l’étage sont un vrai plus. Il n’y a rien à redire, tout était parfait.

Le riad est super, la piscine intérieure chauffée un plus lorsque l'on part en basse saison ! Ses 3 grandes chambres avec chacune sa propre salle de bains, Ossama et Omar sont super gentils et là si besoin.

Riad Belhara is stunning — beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The pools and amazing roof terrace with views across Marrakesh made our stay unforgettable. Oussama was so welcoming, taking time to look after us even during Ramadan iftar, and communication was flawless. Charlotte, the concierge, made restaurant bookings effortless via WhatsApp. Perfect location, amazing service — we can’t recommend it enough!

The riad itself was simply immaculate, and very well designed. Maria was always responsive by WhatsApp and made everything run smoothly, from taxis to day trips. Oussamma was attentive, organised, and gave us complete privacy during the day after breakfast, yet when we had an issue he arrived in less than 30 minutes to help. We also organised two dinners with him at the riad, including a beautiful rooftop meal at sunset on our last night. Though note there's a separate kitchen on the rooftop for guest use. Omar, the night guard, was also reliable whenever needed, and together they made the riad feel like our own little palace — a rare find in Marrakech with both a rooftop pool as well as a courtyard pool. Also - look out for the beautiful red dragonfly (we named Rocco) that protects the rooftop from all the mosquitos.

Honestly, very little - the riad quickly became our haven away from the hectic streets. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a modern yet luxurious private Riad experience.

Riad Belharra was just perfect! We are a family of four (with two adult children) and were visiting Marrakesh as part of my big birthday celebrations. The communication with the owner before and during our stay was excellent and the staff at the property could not have done more to make our stay extra special. The riad has everything we needed, was extremely clean and comfortable and its location perfect for exploring the area. Special mention to Ossama who was so polite, generous and helpful and made the most delicious breakfasts! Would definitely recommend Riad Belharra to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

We loved the location,close to everything yet in a peaceful neighborhood. So many restaurants and rooftop cafes nearby. The staff were lovely. Oussama was very helpful and Sylvie was very responsive. The riad was beautiful. Breakfast was very nice. Loved it.

There was construction going on next door so it was quite noisy in the afternoon when we were trying to relax on the rooftop. Good thing that it stopped at 5 pm. Also one of the toilets was smelly, maybe some plumbing issues. Everything else was amazing.

A great place that combines marrocan tradition and modern elements. Elegantly furnished, great breakfast service and convenially situated at the entrance of the Souk; still completely quiet during the night (except for the muezzin call). The two terraces (one with a view over the medina) and the two bassins add to the luxuary experiences. It is especially great, if you have the place to yourself (we were a party of 6, perfect, as the riad has 3 rooms - each one with an individual bathroom. All arrangements (information, transfers etc.) worked perfectly and the host was always online to help.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le riad Belharra. Un vrai havre de paix très bien situé au cœur de la médina. Très bonne literie et très belle décoration. Petite touche positive, Oussama a été aux petits soins avec différentes attentions à l’occasion de mon anniversaire.

Cependant, la piscine intérieure indiquée « chauffée » ne l’était pas, grosse déception à l’arrivée… De plus, les produits du petit déjeuner n’étaient pas assez variés et nous avons eu chaque jour la même chose. A la fin du séjour il nous a été demandé de régler les bouteilles d’eau que nous avions consommées, ce qui n’est pas le cas dans tous les riads et rien ne nous avait été annoncé au départ.

Een oase van rust in een mooie comfortabele Riad - prachtige chill locatie met rooftop waar je s’morgens een heerlijke nespresso kan drinken 💜 en na een drukke dag in de medina kan je even chillen aan het zwembadje - echte aanrader!

De Riad is prachtig en heel mooi ingericht tot in de kleinste details. We werden heel goed onthaald door Ossama. De communicatie met Sylvie verloopt heel vlot. De ligging is schitterend om Marrakech te voet te bezoeken.

Le riad est magnifique, spacieux et impeccablement propre. Nous avons été très bien accueillies, avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de disponibilité. L’espace est agréable et décoré avec goût, idéal pour un séjour en groupe.

Nous avons été un peu gênées par certains points : – L’agent de sécurité entre et sort librement dans le riad, ce qui nous a donné une impression de manque d’intimité, surtout en tant que groupe de 6 filles. – La propriétaire a été très présente par messages, parfois de manière un peu insistante, ce qui peut nuire à la tranquillité du séjour. – Enfin, le riad est situé dans une ruelle de la médina qui peut sembler peu engageante, notamment en soirée.

The Riad was exactly like the photos and even better in real life. Luxurious and clean. Sylvie (the host) was excellent with regards to pre arrival information and any questions. Ousama, the concierge, was a fabulous cook (we pre-ordered an in-house meal), and an all round really helpful guy. He helped us book taxis / contact our Hamman when we were running late.

That we had to go home!

This is a really special Riad and decorated very classily with wonderful design and furniture. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding and Oussama was a perfect host. The communication from the hosts (Sylvie) throughout was first class and the concierge (Charlotte) went out of her way to try to help us with bookings. The 2 pools were amazing and a rare find. Overall perfection.

The pictures don’t do it justice as this place is gorgeous!! It had every facility you could look for. The location is also convenient.

It’s in the souks, so you have to go through an alley way to get there which can be smelly and a tad scary especially at night time, but for the most part it’s fine! The staff are lovely, although we found they do tend to stay in the riad most of the day doing their own thing - we were out for most of the trip so it wasn’t a problem, but there was a day where we decided to stay in the riad and having staff there did feel abit like baby sitting.

The riad is simply beautiful - well appointed, spacious, superb interior design with fabulous bedrooms, immaculate bathrooms and two wonderful terraces. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The housekeeper was charming and ready to help whenever we wanted. All in all, truly fantastic.

We were unaware that the staff would wander in and out of the riad at any time of the day. It was a little disconcerting at times and it may have been better if we had been made aware of this.

Everything! The riad was mix of traditional and modern furniture in the heart of the Medina. Close to everything, you can get lost in the souk before going back to chilling in the two amazing swimming pools (one on the rooftop and one heated indoor). I stayed here with 4 friends and the riad was all for us in total privacy and comfort. And Maria was the new host!

The apartament were really nice. A lot of place, everything looks pretty new.

In 1 room bathroom there is no air flow, so you have to keep doors from bathroom to bedroom as well as to main hall open. If not - there is some kind of smell.

We came for a family trip over the Christmas break (for us) and it was amazing. The riad is so beautiful, spacious, and immaculately clean. The breakfast cooked by Maria was lovely, and she was also extremely helpful. Sylvie was extremely responsive before and during our stay. The riad is in an excellent location, and we felt safe. We aren’t one to go to a place more than once but Riad Belharra is most definitely going to be an exception for this!

Riad Belharra was an absolutely gorgeous riad with exceptional decor, Moroccan character, and attention to detail. As you walk in, you pass through a hallway that opens up to a bright tiled-courtyard, lavished in greens and the quaintest of seating areas. You feel relaxed immediately — somehow the noise of the city completely disappears and it is ever so peaceful. The main floor features a cathedral ceiling with retractable glass that allows an open air concept if you prefer. The crowning glory is the two roof terraces, with panoramic views over the Marrakech cityscape. The owner Sylvie was exceptional from the beginning to the end. I asked her many questions prior to my arrival, and she was friendly and patient. She personally went to the riad prior to our arrival to check and see about any damages from the historic earthquake and sent pics. She also checked in on us during our stay. The manager Maria was truly a gem. Each morning she came to prepare breakfast. She doesn't ask for tips and refused, but we tipped her generously. We had a tour early one morning and she came earlier than she was supposed to so she could fix us breakfast! She washed my clothes and did so many other things. Maria also has many connections and is a huge resource during your stay, so utilize her. If you need a private driver, let Maria know. She will get you in touch with Ibraheim. He is another gem. He was our personal driver the entire week . It was a bonus, because we did not have to worry about infamous taxi driver scams. He is legit, professional and always on time or early. His fee is about 20 Euros or 200 Dirham round trip. It may be a few more depending on where you are going or how many stops you are making. Make arrangements with him for departure to the airport as well. We tipped him very well. Tell him Mrs. Cobb sent you and said Hello, please!

(Continued from above) TIPS: 1. Bring a travel adaptor that's specific to Morocco so you can charge your electronics 2. If you do not speak French/Arabic use Google Translator app on your phone. You will need it when speaking with Maria and Ibraheim (the driver). Download WhatsApp on your phone. We used it frequently to communicate with Maria and our driver. **On day of arrival, have driver drop you off here: PHARMACIE POPULAIRE. Address: J2M5+HJF, Trik Jazouli, Marrakesh 40000, Morocco. Maria will meet you and have men with wagons to transport your luggage to the riad. Be kind and tip! Remember the route to the riad: From the Pharmacy starting point, walk through the market , after passing the hanging raw meat counter on the right, make the first right at the corner, make another sharp right, keep straight, another right, keep straight (walk through the tunnel), make a left and straight. The riad will be at the end. Thank me later! =============================================== 🙁 As another commenter expressed, the riad is deeply hidden in a maze of alleyways that contain many stray cats (cats are sacred in Morocco), raw meat on the ground, and very, very unpleasant smells. It reminds me of New York City alleys, except in a far worse way. Dressing up to go out for dinner you almost feel contaminated stepping on the cobblestones, holding your clothing and hoping your material doesn't hit the ground. Although the area looks "sketchy" it is safe. You will pass multiple other riads in the alleyways. This particular location has a lot of tourists, so the locals are aware and no one bothers you. There are also many cameras. Sylvie also has a camera directly outside of the front door and on the deck. You can view the cameras on the TV in the riad.

We had stayed in Riad Belharra for my dad’s 50th birthday and the stay was exceptionally good. This was our first time visiting Marrakesh and we will definitely be returning to the same riad. The layout of the riad is amazing with two pools and all the decor is modern. Maria, the housekeeper, was amazing and so helpful. She provided us everything we needed and even helped arrange a cake we needed for the birthday. The rooms are very clean and all 3 rooms have an en-suite with AC’s in every room. Sylvie, the owner, was so lovely. She checked up on us and made sure our stay was pleasant. It is a lovely riad to go with your friends or family and I will definitely be visiting again. It is really a hidden treasure! 😍

The riad is quite hidden in alleyways with stray cats and it does smell unpleasant, so it doesn’t seem like the place would be nice when we first were walking towards it. However, I was completely wrong. The riad is beautiful and close by to local markets where everyone is so friendly. There are many small markets selling different things and we spent our evenings here making friends. There is local markets selling food and water too which is perfect when you’re too tired to travel to the main square. Location is perfect as you can walk about 15 mins to main attractions.

The riad is absolutely stunning, with an interior pool in the living/dining area with a retractable glass roof overhead, an excellent roof deck with pools and views of Marrakech- on a clear day you can see the Atlas Mountains in the distance. The beds were very comfortable and large, and each room had recently updated bathrooms with handheld and waterfall options I. The showers. The location is right in the heart of the Medina. Maria prepared us delicious breakfasts and was very welcoming and kind, and took us to an amazing spot to get lunch. Overall one of the best rental properties I have stayed at- 10/10.

I liked every thing, but the property should leave guests the exact gps coordinates to get back to the Riad, it did not come up correctly on Google or Apple Maps. We had tagged ourselves at the local restaurant so we’re able to get back after a bit of wandering around the Medina trying to find our way, but for us that was part of the experience. Also as European and Snerican travelers we did not know that staff would be in the Riad working during the day, but Maria snd the other workers were extremely helpful, good people. Also recommend downloading French and Arabic dictionaries to Google translate to facilitate communication.

This is my 3rd Riad I have stayed in and by far the best. The host is super communicative and available when you need her. The Riad is definitely 5 stars! When my son and I arrived, we could not believe how amazing it was. The pictures, even though great, does not show the significance of the place. Centrally located, about a 10–12-minute walk to the Medina. Maria took care of us, and she is top notch! The food is fantastic as well. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for hosting us in your fabulous Riad.
