Reviewed Sep 11, 2026The working farm is a beautiful oasis in the dry Karoo. The 'stable' accommodation is charming and makes for friendly interaction between the guests. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and the owners went out of their way to make everyone feel at home.

WE WOULD SUGGEST REPLACING PILLOWS OFTEN AS PILLOWS NEED TO BE CHANGED. WE WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND CHANGING THE MATRESS OFTEN AS THE CURRENT ONE IN OUR ROOM NEEDED TO BE CHANGED SAND ROAD TO PLACE OF STAY - BUILD A BRIDGE OVER WATER PLEASE - YOU KNOW WHY

It has all you need after driving for hours - warmth, delicious food (fresh from the farm but with a twist), nice people, exquisite decoration, friendly pets and a great vibe altogether ! It is a beautiful place with tradition, where the owners give attention to every detail to make you feel relaxed and enjoy the break.

Everything was great, we just had a bad drain smell in our room! Easily fixed and not a big deal. Our wifi didn't work over the course of the stay, but this could be due to the remoteness of the area!
