Wir haben in einer Preisklasse gebucht, in der wir sonst nicht buchen. Dafür hatten wir ein Haus der gehobenen Mittelklasse. Man hätte sofort einziehen können und hätte nichts vermisst. Die Küche mit Eßtisch war groß und hell. Im angrenzenden Vorraum gab es neben der Waschmaschine auch einen Trockner. Das Wohnzimmer, welches auch durch eine Glastür mit dem Esszimmer verbunden war, besaß einen Kamin und einen Fernseher und war gemütlich eingerichtet. Oben gab es drei schöne Schlafzimmer, wobei eines, neben dem normalen Bad, noch ein eigenes Bad hatte. Im kleinen, blickgeschützten und, gut für Hundehalter, eingezäunten Garten gab es noch eine Bank mit Tisch. Frühstücken oder Abendessen draußen wäre auch gut gegangen. Aber wir fanden auch die Lage gut, nahe an Kenmare, vielleicht sogar fußläufig zum Zentrum. Wir sind allerdings gefahren. Es wirkte aber recht nah am Stadtzentrum. Und direkt am Ring of Kerry, an der Nationalstraße, welche die Küstenstraße entlangführt. Also ein guter Ausgangspunkt für sowohl den Killarney Nationalpark, als auch die Küstenstraße Richtung Kerrycliffs und die Fähren zu den Skelliginseln ab Portmagee. Nicht direkt an der lauten Straße (so laut war sie gar nicht) sondern am Ende einer Sackgasse, in der nur solche schönen Doppelhaushälften gebaut waren wie diese. Wie ein kleiner geschützter Bereich. Vor der Haustür war ein Parkplatz. Wir hatten Glück und konnten sehr kurzfristig buchen, da unsere eigentlich gebuchte Unterkunft kurzfristig ausfiel. Dafür waren wir sehr dankbar, das dass alles so schnell und unkompliziert geklappt hatte. Sogar mit Hund! Also, wer ein bisschen Geld übrig hat, sollte sich dieses schöne Haus gönnen.

Plenty of room, loved having the full house. The location was easy to get into town, and there was a lot of good information about the house and tips for places to eat and see.

Parking in the driveway was a bit tricky, but not bad. Wasn't sure if there were other parking spots around the corner. Google maps tried to have us go to a driveway that was closed which would have taken us behind the unit (not the problem of the property owner, but might be worth mentioning to people).

Location was excellent, modern house.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The property is in a great, easily accessible location, and all the amenities listed on the page were in place.

However, there were a couple of service shortcomings: our request for an extra bed was not fulfilled, and the toiletries provided were insufficient for our group.

A fost o destinatie neplanuita pentru ca a trebuit sa plecam fortuit de la o alta cazare din Kenmare, dar a fost exact de ce aveam nevoie in acel moment. O casa mare, curata, aproape noua, dotata cu toate facilitatile. Bucatarie mare, cu masina de spalat, uscator, masina de spalat vase, vesela si tot ce iti poti dori sa te odihnesti in mod civilizat. Dusul cu presiune buna si apa calda, parcarea imediat langa casa, zona linistita nu departe de centru. Gazda eficienta, procesul de cazare si plecare s-a realizat facil si intuitiv. Ne-am simtit bine, ne-ar fi placut sa stam mai mult.

Nimic in mod deosebit. Filtrul de cafea avea o defectiune, cred ca vasul era de la un alt aparat si curgea pe langa, ideal ar fi sa fie inlocuit cu un espressor cu pastile, pentru ca o cafea buna face minuni. Dar asta e un fason, nimic special, ne-am simtit foarte bine la aceasta proprietate. Nu a fost ieftina, dar pretul s-a dovedit corect.

Warm, homely, spacious, well-equipped. Really helpful host. We were travelling with my elderly parents for a family funeral, we needed a home from home and this most definitely was it. We stayed in winter and on opening the door on a freezing day the warmth was so welcome. We forgot dad’s hearing aids and our history very kindly posted them on your us. Highly recommend for families

Lovely house, everything we needed was there

House was cold when we arrived. We had to turn on the radiators in the rooms, no instruction on how to manage the heating. We went away for a few hours to let the house heat up, which was OK for us as visiting family.

The flooring felt heated, which helped make it comfortable on a cold, rainy night.

Not an issue with the location, but Google maps was trying to have us turn onto the next turn, blocked by a gate, instead of the appropriate one. Once again, issue with Google maps, not the actual location.

Location, we could walk to pubs! Quiet and comfortable.

The property was exceptional. No complaints.

Clean comfortable quiet and cheap. Rarely does one get all four in one place.

Unfortunately the email with the check-in details didn’t not arrive until 9:30 pm the day we checked in. We were able to track down the owner, with some difficulty, and get the information directly. All good in the end, but some confusion and concern along the way.

Size of property. Four bedrooms upstairs with two baths. Two lunges below for entertainment

Everything i liked about the Property. The aower coordinated throughtout, most helpful, stay was pleasant. Its like our own house. If u travel with family and are looking for privacy and everything. Go for it.

Bedding was a bit warm for the summer months

We contacted the given number when we had difficulty in finding the key and the person replied us that its not his house. I think the number passed to me was wrong.
