Villa Keshmere

My favorite part of Marrakech was Villa Keshmere. If you have a car, I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms are beautiful, and the garden is lovely and peaceful. The breakfast was also excellent, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. It is a very comfortable and charming place to stay.

Prachtig gebouw met mooi zwembad, mooie openslaande deuren naar de tuin. Deze moest je helaas dicht houden anders had je een van de katten of honden van de eigenaars binnen in je kamer. Laetitia en Marc zijn vriendelijk, maar spreken helaas geen Engels, om een gesprek te hebben of informatie te verkrijgen. Door de geweldige reviews hadden we hogere verwachtingen.

Helaas waren de kamers en badkamers niet erg schoon. De prachtige kastruimten waren vol stof. In kamer 2 lekte water onder uit de toilet en na gebruik van de douche kwam het water de kamer in, zodat we uiteindelijk moesten verhuizen naar een andere kamer. Er was geen dagelijkse schoonmaak, prullenbak verschoning of handdoekenwissel. Na een heftige regenbui kwam het water vanaf het dak kamer 1 naar binnen. Gelukkig heeft Marc verdere schade voorkomen door het water van het dak te schuiven.

Nous avons passé 3 jours en famille au sein de la villa Keshmerre. L accueil est parfait, Leatitia et Marc sont accueillants, chaleureux et aux petits soins! Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux et copieux. Nous avons mangé deux soirs à la Villa dont un couscous royal complètement dingue, à goûter absolument! L extérieur et la piscine nous ont permis de nous détendre et de nous rafraîchir au calme après l agitation des visites. Un sans fautes pour ces trois jours; Merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil 🤩

Famille avec 3 adolescentes. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Marc et Laetitia. La propriété est très belle, bien arborisée et agréable, identique aux photos. Naza (désolée, je ne suis pas certaine de l'orthographe) nous a régalés par ses talents de cuisinière, mention spéciale à ses pains du petit-déjeuner (notamment le Msemen) et le couscous fabuleux. Nous avons fait appel quelques fois à leur chauffeur Abdel, qui est fort sympathique et qui a toujours été ponctuel. Merci à toute l'équipe, nous avons passé un joli séjour !

Super séjour dans ce petit coin de paradis chez Marc et Laeticia. On s’y sent comme à la maison, avec un cadre tout simplement magnifique. Les petits-déjeuners étaient copieux et délicieux. La chambre ainsi que le service étaient impeccables. Nous recommandons vivement !

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Keshmere. Marc und Laetitia sind außergewöhnlich nette Gastgeber. Die Villa und die Poolanlage sind traumhaft. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker in einem schönen Raum.. Marc hatte abends um 21.30 Uhr noch Omlette für unseren Sohn gezaubert. Laetitia hat uns den Kontakt von einem Fahrer gegeben, damit wir in die Stadt kommen. Ca 25 min. Das Vogelgezwitscher ist einzigartig.

Das Licht Im Bad bemerkt man kaum. Mehr Ablagefächer wären super. Lage etwas außerhalb. Aber Rest super.

Notre séjour était très agréable ,Laetitia et Marc sont très accueillant et sont soucieux du bien être de leurs hôtes, L endroit est magnifié et très paisible. Des repas faits maison excellents . Nous étions 2 couples et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Soraya ,Caroline,Reda et Christophe

Si vous cherchez « Bonheur », c’est ici. Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable à la Villa Keshmere, en couple avec nos deux garçons de 14 ans, et tout était absolument parfait du début à la fin. L’accueil de Laeticia et Marc a été au‑delà de tout ce que nous pouvions espérer : chaleureux, attentionné, authentique. On sent immédiatement qu’ils mettent tout leur cœur à rendre le séjour de leurs hôtes exceptionnel. La villa est d’une propreté irréprochable, entretenue avec un soin remarquable. La literie à mémoire de forme mérite une mention spéciale : un confort rare, qui garantit de vraies nuits réparatrices après les journées bien remplies à Marrakech. Nos hôtes ont également été de précieux conseils pour découvrir les activités et les lieux incontournables des environs, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus fluide et agréable. Le cadre est sublime, le service impeccable, et chaque détail est pensé pour que l’on se sente bien, presque comme à la maison… mais en mieux. Le petit déjeuner est un véritable moment de bonheur : copieux, fait maison, composé de produits frais et de grande qualité. Un régal chaque matin. Et comment ne pas parler de Nahza, la cuisinière, dont les plats rivalisent et surpassent même ceux des meilleurs restaurants marocains que nous avons testés durant notre séjour. Une vraie artiste culinaire. En résumé : un lieu magique, des hôtes exceptionnels, et une expérience que nous recommandons les yeux fermés. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs précieux… et l’envie de revenir

Vila umístěná v krásné zahradě s výhledem na pohoří Atlas. Architektura vily nádherná. To, že v pokoji nebyla TV nevadilo.

Prakticky je ubytování veřejnou dopravou nedostupné. Vila je cca 10 km z centra. Deklarovaný autobus 25 jezdí přeplněný a nepravidelně. Doporučuji s touto skutečností počítat. Doprava do/u centra pouze taxíkem, nebo stopem za úhradu. Smlouvat. Ve společných prostorách přízemí vily signál WIFI OK, na pokoji byl slabý a vypadával.

Tout était parfait, un séjour très agréable, et des hôtes aux petits soins, souriants, toujours prévenants. Nous avons découvert le Maroc et l'expérience à la Villa Keshmere nous a permis d'y séjourner mieux que bien ! Laetitia et Marc sont présents et très accueillants, disponibles et vraiment arrangeants. Les petits plats préparés lors de notre séjour ont été un délice et que dire de la villa elle même, tellement beau ! On a adoré notre séjour, merci encore.

The hosts and all the staff are super friendly, they really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The pool is lovely, well kept and clean. The garden and general outside of the property are beautiful, and a wonderful place to spend time and relax. There is a chef present, and the food she made was spectacular each evening we ate there. Our stay was sadly cut short by health issues, but the next time I go to Marrakech I will definitely revisit.

Only one thing, the wifi reception in our room (upstairs) was rather poor. On the balcony and downstairs was fine.

Fresh bread every morning with jams, eggs, coffee and orange juice. Beautiful big pool and very calm and serene property. The staff was all very nice. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday.

The bed was a bit caved in and uncomfortable. Not a lot of options for food considering the location of the villa is far from the centre.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette maison d’hôtes. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été très bien accueillis par Jeff et Félicia, avec une attention particulière à chaque détail. La chambre était impeccable, confortable et d’une grande propreté. Nous avons eu la chance de goûter à la cuisine gastronomique préparée par la cheffe Félicia : un vrai régal, raffiné et généreux. Nous avons également fait la rencontre des nouveaux repreneurs, Marc et Laetitia, des hôtes charmants, souriants et très accueillants. Ils inspirent confiance et donnent envie de revenir profiter de ce lieu chaleureux. Une adresse que nous recommandons vivement !

Die Villa selber und das Zimmer und der Pool und das Personal haben mir und meiner frau sehr gefallen

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Jef. Het is een prachtig gebouw, zeer mooi in orde gebracht door de uitbaters. Het zwembad en de tuin zijn schitterend. Er zijn voldoende ligstoelen, het is er rustig, Jef is zeer behulpzaam. Wij genoten heel hard van deze prachtige locatie.

La beauté des parties communes. Dans la chambre, uniquement la literie mais il faut faire son lit soi-même.

Le bruit de la climatisation, impossible de dormir sans boules Quiès. L'opacité de l'eau de la piscine, le personnel ajoute des produits à 10h le matin alors que la piscine est déjà ouverte aux clients! L'absence de mobilier (rien pour poser les affaires de toilette dans la salle d'eau, pas de chaise ni table basse). Le jus d'orange en brique au petit déjeuner. Les tensions palpables (et les engueulades devant les clients) entre la direction et le personnel. L'absence de bouteille d'eau dans la chambre, pour celà il faut payer! Dans un pays où on vous déconseille de boire l'eau du robinet, c'est du jamais vu ! La chambre n'a pas été faite durant les trois jours où nous avons séjourné donc pas d'ajout de papier toilette ni de coup de balai... Par ailleurs, l'état d'hygiène de la douche est très limite. Le manque de motivation du fameux Jeff (je demande si je peux avoir du miel avec mon petit déjeuner, la réponse "ah ça je sais pas, parce que comme on a commencé les cartons..."). Je me permets toutes ces remarques puisque "les notes Booking maintenant que je pars, je m'en tape!" Pour un établissement qui se vante d'une note élevée et pense avoir un standing irréprochable, il faudrait revoir la copie mais la direction ne se remettra pas en question, c'est la faute du personnel marocain qui est fainéant. En conclusion, séjour à éviter avant l'arrivée du repreneur sous risque de déprime sévère !

This place is an oasis of calm! The two nights we stayed were bliss. The pool is particularly nice. Jeff and the small team make you feel welcome and are always on hand to help. Communication before and during the stay is great! The location is very quiet but it’s the perfect place to base yourself and explore. We were attending a wedding at the source hotel just up the road. Jeff was helpful in arranging us taxis with Amin, who was reliable. We only had one breakfast poolside, loved a croque monsieur sandwich at lunchtime. It was the perfect quiet chill out place by day.

Our first impression was WOW , the building was amazing,the details incredibly jaw dropping, the owners have done an incredible job bringing back to life with wonderful antique furniture especially the chairs in the entrance The bedroom was extremely spacious and the beds super comfortable. We had a massive balcony that overlooked the gardens which were very pretty and colourful Our Hosts Jeff and Felicia were engaging and extremely welcoming. Jeff was really helpful when we told him we wanted a tagine. He personally took us to a local seller to buy the tagines, then not only packed them carefully but also took us to the transport company to have them shipped over. Felicia cooked supper for us on the nights we stayed which was really delicious. All in all, our stay was perfect and we would come back hopefully with our family who we've praised our stay at villa kashmere

The property is simply amazing. It’s like being in a mansion in paradise. The place is beautiful and so peaceful. The hosts are wonderful people, they helped us sort it out any problem or request in a timely manner.

Maybe having a cooler next to the pool where the guests could retrieve paid drinks from would make thinks easier than having to request it every time.

This was the best place to finish our stay in Morocco. It has al the comfort we needed. Jeff was a great host and from the moment we arrived we felt at home. Aside from all the help Jeff with everything you can think off Jeff is a nice person to have a chat with. The facilities were perfect. From the location Jeff arrranges tours to the Agave dessert and the Ourika valley. Jeff’s wife cooks great breakfast, diners and makes the boest Mocktails.

Stunning villa less than 20 minutes from the centre,comfortable and very spacious room,amazing garden around the pool area which was immaculate,the WiFi was very good,the staff especially Jeff was polite and friendly and was always available if needed,was definitely great value for money you really can't complain about anything :)

Location was perfect for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle but getting into town was easy and safe with dedicated taxi on hand.Property was beautiful, grounds were lovely and Jeff, Felicia and team were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and their hosting (and Felicia’s cooking) was second to none!

We had a great stay! The place is peaceful and truly magical – you wake up to the sound of birds singing, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The swimming pool was beautiful, and the beds in the room were very comfortable, making for a perfect night’s sleep. It’s a bit remote, so having a car is definitely a plus, as there isn’t much around within walking distance. But after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, this was the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

An Experience Beyond Compare My partner and I recently spent 8 unforgettable nights at Villa Keshmere in Marrakech, and I can say without hesitation that it was the best holiday experience we've ever had. The Villa From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of this grand property that feels like a genuine Moroccan palace. The villa is beautifully decorated with authentic Moroccan touches throughout, creating an atmosphere that's both luxurious and deeply cultural. Despite its grandeur, it quickly felt like home to us – a testament to both the property itself and our wonderful hosts. The room we stayed in featured the most impressive balcony view we've ever experienced, offering breath-taking vistas that we'll remember forever. The Dining Experience Breakfast each morning was absolute bliss – enjoying homemade, garden-picked jams and fresh fruit while sitting in the sunshine became our favourite way to start the day. We also ordered lunch several times, a refreshing tuna salad that was always promptly prepared and served to us poolside. The evening dining experience deserves special mention. Each night, we were treated to a thoughtful three-course meal, beautifully prepared by our host's wife, who is hands down the best chef who has ever cooked for us. With my partner being pescetarian, each meal was carefully created to accommodate her dietary preferences without requiring me to eat the same dishes. Every course was explained to us in detail, adding to the personal touch that made dining here feel like a royal experience.

Jeff was in contact before our arrival, ensuring we knew everything ahead of our trip and arranging for his driver to collect us from the airport. Throughout our stay, he was extremely polite, helpful with recommendations for activities in Morocco, and attentive to our every need – whether we were lounging by the pool or planning an excursion to the Atlas Mountains. What touched us most was the genuine connection we formed with Jeff. This wasn't a robotic, overly professional hotel experience – it was warm, personal, and heartfelt. The homely atmosphere was enhanced by their friendly cats who greeted us each day, making the villa feel even more like our home away from home. Villa Kashmere is better in real life than the photos. We loved every moment at this property. Beautiful garden. Delicious breakfasts, fresh bread every day and amazing food cooked by Felicia.

Too short stay :-)

Beautiful stay at villa Keshmere, located about 12 km outside of the Medina! Big spacious rooms and a huge bathroom were a nice change to the rather small rooms of the riads, nice swimming pool in a beautiful garden! The owners are very friendly and helpful! For all those who like to escape the busy life of the Medina for a couple of days, this is THE place!

The location is a bit outside of Marrakesh city and overall the area looks a bit scetchy but the place itself is very lovely. Personal is very nice and helpful. We recommend to take the dinners from them as well, the food was such a delight. Rooms are comfortable and have ac in rooms - so if you are cold or weather is too warm you can regulare the temperature easily. Overall the place is calm and quiet, with a lot of cats. We really enjoyed the stay, sunbathing and pool.

There is no small fridges in the rooms to keep your waterbottles but since they have additional services with snacks, drinks, dinners etc offered, it was fine.

Property owner will always try and help you out. Very comfortable. Nice amenities. Laid back.

The villa was beautiful with a lovely garden and pool view. Inside the villa was spacious and clean with a lovely comfortable room. His wife cooked a lovely breakfast for us and allowed us to try local Moroccan “pancakes” and bread. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city and very quiet and serene, a great holiday destination for those looking for a city break. He also gave lovely recommendations for activities we can do and places to eat. Overall, he allowed for us to have a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful villa! Jeff was super nice! Oscar the horse was SO BEAUTIFUL. The whole group enjoyed the garden.

Breakfast was scarce and taxi service was a bit odd.

Jeff and the team were the greatest hosts that I ever met. Top class hospitality. We felt like this is our home in Marrakech. Location was great, away from city's hustle but still not too far. 15-20 mins by taxi depending on where you are going. Bonus: They have the best dinner in town. It should be included in your plans, you'll not regret.

Villa Keshmere was an absolutely wonderful experience, thanks to its facilities, serene atmosphere, and close proximity to the Oasis festival. My husband, our friend, and I stayed for three days, and I’m excited to share our experience. We traveled from Marrakesh to the villa but initially had trouble finding a ride. Jeff, despite not having met us yet, was incredibly helpful. He arranged a large, comfortable car for the three of us and our considerable luggage at very short notice for just 200 MAD, a great deal compared to other options we found. The 30-minute ride was smooth, and upon arrival, Jeff greeted us warmly and even assisted with our luggage, alongside his driver/helper, Ahmed. The villa itself is stunning, nestled in a remote area with a spacious garden and a beautiful pool. Its limited number of rooms creates a cozy and friendly atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Jeff gave us a tour of the property, and the rooms were impressive—large, with comfortable beds, and elegantly designed, blending Moroccan and modern styles. The pool was clean and inviting, even after a day of rain when Jeff went out of his way to tidy up the area. Jeff also offered Ahmed’s assistance in transporting us to and from the festival. On the first night, Jeff personally drove us, and although we walked back, we asked Ahmed to wait for us the next two nights. Ahmed was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay, making the trips back and forth hassle-free.

As a seasoned traveler who has stayed in a variety of accommodations worldwide, I strive to be fair in my reviews. Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. Firstly, the booking page didn’t mention restrictions on bringing food or alcohol. We only learned about this from Jeff while en route, yet the hotel’s menu offered overpriced drinks. This restriction was unexpected, as I’ve always been able to bring my own provisions. The breakfast was underwhelming—just eggs with processed cheese, not the advertised spread that included crepes. Despite understanding Jeff’s wife’s recent surgery, they should have had a backup plan for guests. Clear communication on the booking page would have allowed us to make an informed decision. Food at the pool was pricey and small in portion, and we couldn’t bring back leftovers due to the no-outside-food rule. When we finally tried their lunch, the chicken was improperly cleaned, and the fries were dry, making the meal overpriced at 600 MAD. Lastly, Jeff’s response to one of the criticism was unprofessional. It’s crucial to handle feedback gracefully and use it to improve. Honest reviews should reflect both positives and negatives, and guests deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of their feedback.

Warm welcoming by the owners Jeff and Felicia, who made us feel as home. Felicia made every meal with a surprise of flavors , everything prepared with kindness and care . The place is clean , cozy and where you can find peace and be relaxed .

The property and the owners were very nice and welcoming. Jeff was kind enough to let us use his driver to take us to and from the Oasis Festival, which we really appreciated. The stay was very comfortable, and the pool at the property added to the overall relaxation.

One downside was that we weren't allowed to bring in food or beverages from outside, and the options available at the property were quite limited and overpriced. Additionally, the bathroom had a strange smell and could use some maintenance.

The room was ill-equipped. I would've like a mini-fridge, kettle, a desk and some other basics that just weren't there.

This place is beautiful and so quiet and relaxing. The staff are lovely people and very friendly. We were made to feel welcomed and assured if we were to need anything just to ask. We felt very relaxed and comfortable. The rooms are clean and large with great air con. The breakfast was lovely and the pool was perfect.

We have nothing we did not like. The villa is located slightly away from the craziness of the medina but a taxi is easy and only 20 mins away.

The most phenomenal stay, the villa was beautiful, clean and absolutely stunning. The hosts went above and beyond for our stay, especially as we had no suitcase for 3 days and Jeff took us shopping for some clothes and helped us with collecting our case on arrival. The food was some of the best food I have ever eaten and I couldn't be more happier with our experience staying here. They also provided a birthday cake and dinner for my friend, there is nothing they will not help you with. I thank you both so much! And we will be returning for sure! :D
