La struttura si trova in un’ottima posizione della Medina. Lo staff è gentilissimo e disponibile, la colazione fatta in casa veramente buona. Bella la piscina e il terrazzo, camere spaziose e suggestive. Proprietario disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza! Consigliato a tutti!

The place was beautiful, the breakfast was filling and the tea was great. The staff was great and super helpful as well. I had no issue communicating with staff.

There was ONE cockroach and it got on the bed overnight. I was on the ground level and the property manager was happy to help us move on to the first floor. I think and hope that this is an isolated case !

The riad is very tastefully furnished in a traditional style with the occasional small twist. It was very quiet and Youssef was particularly helpful. Highly recommended.

Se tendría que valorar todo, pero además del desayuno, la limpieza y la localización del Riad, lo que más destacaría sobre todo es la amabilidad tanto de Mohammed como de Youssef, no pudieron ayudarnos más, hicieron que nuestra pasase de buena a excepcional

The Riad was stunningly beautiful and we loved how it was traditionally decorated plus the location was fab being able to walk to almost anywhere.

Me encantó el desayuno, la atención que recibimos por parte de Mohammed y Youssef, la terraza del Riad y lo fresco que se estaba en la habitación.

La cama era muy pequeña y dura y el baño no tenía cortinilla, se mojaba todo. La lámpara de noche no iba. El armario muy pequeño también. La ubicación un poco lejos del centro de la Medina, pero con taxis nos hemos apañado bien.

Liten Riad i gammal stil. Fantastisk miljö med liten bassäng i mitten som i och för sig nästan aldrig användes. Frukost på takterassen med personlig leverans av oerhört vänlig, trevliga och tillmötesgående personal. Man kände sig väl omhändertagen och fick hjälp med taxi och tåg när så behövdes. Läget är mitt i stan och alla basarerna inom 100 meter.

Vi hade det minsta av totalt sex rum och det kunde varit större. De stora rummen var dock väldigt stora.

The entire staff were friendly and helpful. Youssef was GREAT!!! Even before our trip he returned emails promptly. He helped us late at night ( gabe a cab driver directions back to the riad). He met us at the street when the driver( he arranged for us) dropped us off.He definitely made our stay better. Fresh squeezed orange juice and fruit at breakfast. The property is very cool and quiet. After all the traffic and noise- it is nice to come in and relax.

Just wish there was better lighting in the rooms.

We like everything, great location, great vibes and wonderful architecture and furniture and the breakfast. We were looked after by Youssef from the pre arrange airport pick up through to everything we needed, including a desert experience with camel rides and genuine Moroccan restaurants. The room was amazing, very comfortable and classic Moroccan style. Great roof garden with views and ground floor traditional Riad pool. Very clean, quiet and yet in the Medina. Fabulous

Heerlijke Riad, personeel heel zorgzaam, attent en correct. Helpen je heel erg op weg met wat te doen en daar te komen. Heel lekker ontbijt en erg schoon, kortom een rede om terug te komen

Het matras want die hing over het bed heen daar het bed kleiner was dan het matras, dat lag dus niet lekker. En als tip: plaats een douchescherm of douchegordijn omdat alles op de wastafel ( staat er pal naast) heel erg nat is als je hebt gedoucht.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce riad. L’endroit est magnifique, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, et idéalement situé pour découvrir la médina et les principaux sites de Marrakech. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, copieux et varié, avec des produits frais chaque matin. Un grand merci à Youssef pour son accueil chaleureux. Il a été très sympathique, toujours disponible et de très bon conseil pour les visites et les bonnes adresses de la ville. Grâce à lui, notre séjour a été encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons ce riad sans hésitation et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Obiekt jest absolutnie wspaniały. Już od samego wejścia czuliśmy się wyjątkowo. Wnętrze jest przepiękne. Na górze znajduje się piękny taras na którym serwowane są pyszne śniadania. Lokalizacja też jest bardzo dobra. Jeśli jesteście autem blisko jest strzeżony parking. Polecam!

The riad was absolutely beautiful. All the intricate details. My friend and I arrived before check-in time and we were greatly warmly with some mint tea. The staff especially Youssef and Mohammed were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The homemade yogurt and home cooked meals were a plus. Would definitely recommended staying at this beautiful place when visiting Marrakesh

Tivemos uma excelente experiência neste riad e recomendo sem hesitar. O espaço é absolutamente lindo, muito bem cuidado e com uma atmosfera tranquila que nos faz sentir imediatamente relaxados. O pequeno-almoço foi um dos pontos altos, sempre variado, com pão delicioso e quente, fruta fresca, crepes marroquinos, várias opções todos os dias e um ótimo café. Os anfitriões, o Mahomed e o Youssef, foram extremamente atenciosos e disponíveis durante toda a estadia, sempre prontos a ajudar e a tornar a experiência ainda mais especial. A localização é também uma grande vantagem: o riad está afastado da confusão dos souks, o que garante sossego, mas ao mesmo tempo fica a uma curta caminhada da zona histórica. Adorei a experiência e, se voltar, ficarei aqui novamente sem dúvida.

I cannot rave enough about this exceptional riad. My friend and I shared a suite that was beyond magnificent. We felt we were staying in a palace. Youssef and Mohammed went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely as was the view. Highly, highly recommend!!!

The interior design and the decorations of the Riad are beautiful. We immeadietly fell in love with it when we arrived. The host Yousserf and Mahamud are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the fresh juice and homemade yogurt were amazing.

Riad Esmeralda is a real gem - located down a quiet alley in a peaceful area of the medina, but walking distance to everything and with a taxi stand conveniently located just around the corner. The interior of the riad is spectacular with lovely common areas around the central courtyard and beautifully decorated and very quiet bedrooms, with good quality linens and very comfortable beds - a real oasis. Breakfast every day was delicious, with fresh local breads, yogurt, fruit, good coffee, juice and eggs on request. Other meals are also available on request and, although we did not order any, they smelled delicious! The rooftop lounge was lovely as well. Although the riad doesn't serve alcohol, guests are free to bring alcohol with them and they happily provide trays, glassware, bottle openers, ice, etc. But the best part of Riad Esmeralda are the staff. Youssef, Mohammed and the others were gracious hosts, very welcoming and kind, and anticipating our every need. They were very responsive to our questions before we arrived, organized great airport transfers and a city walking tour for us, and made great recommendations for other activities, like hammams, monuments, restaurants, etc. A stellar stay!

L’emplacement, le Riad est tout simplement magnifique 🤩, le personnel, que ce soit les dames qui font le ménage, la cuisine ( la cuisine familiale du petit déjeuner et du dîner sont incroyablement délicieux), Djalil, Mohamed et bien entendu Youssef sans qui notre séjour n’aurait pas été aussi incroyable, inoubliable. Il nous a pris en charge de À à Z avec le plus grand respect de nos souhaits. Convivialité, toujours à l’écoute. C’était notre premier séjour au Maroc et donc à Marrakech et sans cet établissement et son personnel nous n’aurions pas autant apprécié nos vacances. Encore un grand merci à eux et mention spéciale à YOUSSEF ❤️❤️❤️

Das Riad selber ist wunderschön, liebevoll gestaltet, mit wenigen Gästezimmern und einem freundlichen Team. Das hervorragende Frühstück variiert täglich und wird auf Wunsch auch auf der Dachterasse serviert; mit Blick über die Medina.

Staying at Riad Esmeralda really is like staying in a Palace! It is beautiful, with eye-catching, exquisite details or original features everywhere. The team were magnificent, especially Youssef and Mohammed. So helpful, kind, intelligent, fun. The breakfast served to us was fantastic and my gluten-free requirements were catered for - in fact I was spoilt, as I normally miss out due to my GF needs. We felt it was a good location, easy to find, safe and well lit at night, and approx a 15 min walk to the main square and souks. After long, warm days, walking miles seeing the sites, it was bliss to return to Esmeralda for rest and relaxation, peace and quiet.

Das Riad ist in jeglicher Hinsicht außergewöhnlich. Wenig Zimmer, dafür aber unglaublich schön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und großzügig. Das Frühstück vor dem Pool im Atrium wird serviert. Man kann Wünsche äußern. Eigentlich wird einem alles von den Augen abgelesen. Wir sind ziemlich rumgekommen in unserem Leben. Diese Destination gehört definitiv zum Besten. Die Lage ist optimal. 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die historische Innenstadt, aber dennoch ruhig gelegen.

Da gibt es gar nichts zu meckern.

Cazarea este absolut superbă, centrala,detalii superbe, la cateva minute distanta de mers pe jos de atracțiile principale. Personalul foarte amabil, mic dejun traditional gustos, curat. Recomand pentru o experienta tradițională marocana.

Staff was excellent, the property itself was beautiful! Our suite was luxurious, with a comfortable bed and two sets of bathrooms with a living area. Location was not accessible by taxis but was hardly a 5 min walk. most of the souks and nice eateries in the Medina were walking distance, very convenient. The breakfast was nice

Lovely Riad, lived up to the description and pictures. Staff were great, always helpful and friendly and arranged for a variety of gluten free breads at breakfast. Would recommend.

Beautiful Riad. An exquisite palace hiding behind unsuspecting walls - as happens in the case of some other Riads. There's a lot of craft in every panel, every wall, every tile. Feels like another universe. And the service couldn't be more helpful and welcoming, especially our good host Youssef, who was nothing but helpful, and professional.

Our room was very dark, but so is the case with many rooms in Riads because the lower windows face very narrow streets.

Oh my goodness, this was like a small palace, the architecture and decor was exquisite! Youssef and Mohammed and all of the staff were amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The location was away from the hustle but all the attractions were a walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad. Youssef and Mohamed are fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The transfer was well organized and everything ran smoothly. The breakfast was delicious and different every day, which made each morning a pleasant surprise. Our room was very clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the riad was calm and comfortable. The location is also excellent: right in the center of Marrakech and within easy walking distance of the souks. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the city.

Actually, we liked everything; if we had to mention something, it would be that the beds were a bit too firm for us.

Breakfast was delicious and served between reasonable times. They were even accommodating when we didn't feel like eating in the veranda or around the pool and preferred to eat in the room as we had a few late nights. Coffee was served upon request even at odd times. Youssef and Mohammed were kind and super helpful.

The bathroom could have done with some renovation but overall, the room and rest of the Riad was lovely to stay. The rooftop was a bonus.

The interior is so beautiful. The location is good. And the staff is also kind and attentive. The breakfast was really good, even too much for us as we couldn’t eat them all — I love that the orange juice was fresh.

The pool was not really well kept during our stay. I didn’t dare to swim in it as there were some (dead) insects floating.

Le Riad est très bien placé. Très calme surtout, dans une ruelle à l’écart du bruit de la ville. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’ambiance, la belle terrasse sur le toit. Youssef et ses collègues sont très accueillants, très serviables et à l’écoute. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et varié. Youssef a organisé pour nous les transferts depuis et vers l’aéroport, ainsi qu’une escapade dans l’Atlas.

Riad Esmerelda is simply a gorgeous building and an amazing guest house! This traditional style Riad/ guest house offers a stunning mosaic tiled, multi floor, cool, quiet (except morning birdsong) haven just off Rue Fatima Zahra by the Bab Doukkala Mosque a short walk into the bustling streets of the heart Medina. Our hosts Youssef and Mohammed (and their team) could not have been more helpful, friendly knowledgeable and accommodating. Breakfast was simple and delicious, beds were warm and comfortable and our room was filled with beautiful traditional local decor. They also have a fantastic roof terrace for a romantic evening drink under the stars or lounging in the sun and a small bathing pool at the centre of the ground floor. You have to see this place to believe it. Highly recommended.

We had the most exceptional stay at riad Esmeralda, from the moment we arrived we got 5 star treatment, Youssef and Mohammad run a super tight ship, they are an absolute credit to this riad well done on your amazing work guys! On arrival, Mohammad spent time explaining all about the area and pinning amazing locations onto our Google Maps to explore throughout our stay. We were then met by the super pleasant Youssef in the mornings to deliver our delicious breakfast and have fabulous breakfast chats! Nothing was too much to ask of these guys! Don’t think twice about booking this accommodation you have certainly found a little gem here! Our riad was Walking distance to the square, shops/restaurants/pharmacies/ bakeries all along the way!The room was impeccable & cleaned daily by the sweetest lady. The guys organised super smooth transport to and from the riad to the airport with the timing to perfection. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for making our experience of Morocco so memorable we will definitely return ❤️ Tara & Lawrence x

Ein traumhaft schönes, ruhiges und romantisches Riad – wie aus 1001 Nacht! 💫 Die liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung, der wunderschöne Innenhof mit Pool und die stilvoll eingerichteten Zimmer machen den Aufenthalt unvergesslich. (Tipp: Wenn es das Budget erlaubt, unbedingt eines der beiden größeren Zimmer buchen – es lohnt sich!) Das Team ist außergewöhnlich herzlich, aufmerksam und liest einem (fast) jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab – und macht selbst Unmögliches möglich (vielen Dank, Youssef!). Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in Marrakesch ist das Riad eine wahre Oase der Ruhe – wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und geborgen gefühlt. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war ebenfalls ein Highlight, besonders die Avocado-Creme – einfach himmlisch! Für Erstbesucher empfehlen wir den Pick-up-Service, da das Riad – wie viele in der Medina – etwas versteckt liegt, was mit Gepäck schnell zur Herausforderung werden kann. Wer Romantik, Ruhe, orientalisches Flair und echte Gastfreundschaft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ein Ort, an den man gern zurückkehrt. ❤️

Overall our stay was wonderful! The location allowed for easy walkability, the decor and riad was beautiful and quaint, and the daily rooftop breakfast was great. Youssef made himself available with excellent responsiveness and communication to help as needed. He also coordinated some local tour, personal drivers and transportation to the airport and Casablanca.

Keep in mind, the main communal areas of the Riad do not have air conditioning. There is a single unit in the main bedroom (but not bathrooms) that staff turn off during the day. This is typical of most so not a fault, just a reminder because it takes a bit too cool down after being out in the heat all day.

The Riad is stunning. Of all its spaces, the fireplace by the lounge and the terrace became my favorite sanctuaries. The lounge, warmed by the gentle glow of the fire, offered a rare sense of calm—an inviting place to sit, breathe, and let the world slow down. It felt intimate and grounding, perfect for moments of solitude and reflection after the energy of the city’s. The terrace, on the other hand, carried a different kind of magic. Open to the sky, peaceful and unhurried, it was where I found true tranquility. Whether in the soft light of the morning or the hush of the evening, it offered warmth, stillness, and space to simply be. A place I would return to at any time.

Our deluxe suite was outstanding. Huge and with authentic decor and unusual furniture. The staff were excellent and helpful..particularly Yusef and Mohammed. The breakfasts varied each day and we're wonderful.

The Riad is beautiful inside with a comfortable and spacious rooftop. The breakfast was perfect with fruit and yogurt each morning, eggs cooked to order, assortment of breads and jams, orange juice, coffee and tea. Youssef and staff are available to accommodate any need-it was a pleasure interacting with them. Of note, Youssef arranged a day trip to the Atlas Mountains for the four of us with private driver, private guide, and a traditional Moroccan lunch-highly recommended. Loved the fact that there is no exterior door key-someone is always available to let you in and keep an eye on things. Felt extremely safe, not only in country, but during our stay.

The bedroom pillows need an upgrade. The mattress was fine, but firm (my personal preference is medium firm). These are my only quibbles with the property.
