IZZA Marrakech

Izza is a haven of peace and tranquility. It is also very Cool, we loved the artwork all over the Riad. Most of all we would like to note how exceptional the staff are. They just could not be more helpful - all of them!

One thing I’d say is - sleeping under a duvet in such high heat is difficult! A single sheet would be good. Even with the air con it was still hot under that baby

IZZA was exceptional. The space is beautifully designed and the room was incredible, with everything I needed and more. The staff were so helpful and generous, from arranging a fantastic guide for a shopping trip to organising an amazing massage. The thoughtful personal touches throughout made the stay feel warm, welcoming and very special. A beautiful place to stay with such a considered sense of style. I would absolutely recommend it and would love to stay again.

Beautiful property - it really feels like staying in an art gallery. The decor is very well put together and staff is exceptional too. The hammam is better than some renowned hotels in town.

Traditional riad with a modern take. All rooms are individually furnished, exceptionally well done. Large pool in one of the courtyards and a great rooftop terrace to lounge or eat. Fantastic service all the way from checkin to meals, cleaning and laundry. I had to checkout early and got a breakfast box to go. Highly recommend!

Virkelig smukt hotel! Der er tænkt over hver detalje, så opholdet er en oplevelse i sig selv. Fantastisk morgenmad, god beliggenhed, dejligt personale.

IZZA was our favourite place we stayed during our travels. We were blown away by the facilities, the staff and just how beautiful the hotel is. The pools were a lovely addition and it was probably my favourite breakfast we had whilst in Morocco as well. In terms of location, it was such an easy walk into the Medina and also to a taxi pick up/drop off point nearby. Absolutely would stay again :-)

Everything! Never stayed in a riad before so didn’t know what to expect. After stay I can confidently say I made the right call with this booking. It was that amazing! Family or friends now going to Marrakech will 100% be directed to staying here and no where else. 10/10

Didn’t stay longer.

We absolutely loved our stay at Izza and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. The breakfast was incredible—delicious, generous, and so filling that it kept us going well into the afternoon. Every member of the staff was superb, warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. We stayed in the Marella room, and it was noticeably larger than most riad rooms I had researched within the Medina, which was a wonderful surprise. The location was also ideal—right next door to Dar Yacout and just a short walk to the souks, making it easy to explore while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. One of my favorite things about Izza was its beautiful collection of art throughout the property. It gave the riad so much character and made every space feel thoughtfully curated. We also appreciated being able to cool off in the small lap pool during Marrakech's July heat, and the rooftop restaurant was fantastic, offering great food in a beautiful setting. If I had to choose just a few highlights, they would be the exceptional hospitality, the stunning design, the delicious breakfast, and the perfect location. Izza was the ideal home base for our time in Marrakech.

The A/C wasn't as cool as we'd hoped.

Établissement juste exceptionnel pour le rapport qualité prix, nous avons résider 2 nuits dans la chambre Grace, la chambre est parfaite/magnifique. L’établissement est très bien fait entre modernité et culture. Le staff parfait, je recommande fortement.

A perfect stay in a great location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation was in the perfect location for exploring, but also quiet and relaxing inside.

Breakfast was excellent. The riad is beautiful with 2 pools. Hammam is experience was good. Staff were very helpful with making a return, going out of their way, etc .

Booking transfers or cars through the riad were significantly more expensive than taking a taxi, as they were private drivers, but of course was very convenient

This is like a small Luxury hotel. The details, the rooms, the quiet and calm are excellent! We would recommend experiencing this on any visit to Marrakech.

The pool is beautiful but if it already has guests using the two sunbeds there is no where else to lie down.

Everything at this hotel is intentional, staff are incredibly attentive, amazing interior, the room was on the smaller size but that was to be expected to we can’t complain. I would stay here again, however I would get a bigger room next time

- The design of the hotel is absolutely top notch -- they are using the various spaces in a beautiful way. - The bathroom was big enough. - We got a Moroccan tea as a welcome drink -- we liked the experience.

- The smallest room category is really quite small. There's mostly space for a bed and the rest is mostly taken up by a small bench and the bathroom (which, weirdly is almost as big as the room). - The door has gaps -- so noise and light leaks in. We heard everyone passing by our door which woke us up a few times in the morning. - Maybe we missed it but we didn't find any buffet at the breakfast. Everything has to be ordered a-la-carte which is okay if it wasn't so slow. We waited ~25-30 minutes and then left without food because we had to catch a taxi to the airport. On another day we had a tour start at 7am which also missed the breakfast because it starts after 8am - We really did not like the neighborhood the hotel is in. This part of the old town has trash everywhere and felt sketchy to us. I am sure this is just us having the wrong expectations, but it still made us dread coming back to the hotel late at night.

Prix de la chambre un peu élevé, l'accès au riad n'est pas simple, un peu loin de la place Jemaa el fna.

Lage gut gelegen, bis zum berühmten Platz ca. 25min zu Fuss freundliches Personal das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet Es gibt 2 Pools (einen der geheizt ist und einer wo nicht geheizt ist) Anfahrt mit Taxi nicht möglich direkt zum Hotel, aber man wird dann vom einem Hotelpersonal abgeholt (ca. 5min zu Fuss)

Das Frühstück war leider erst ab 08.00 Uhr möglich (wir haben gefragt ob es möglich wäre 15min früher, da wir um 08.20 Uhr einen Ausflug hatten, aber leider ging das nicht)

Les lieux sont magnifiques, hôtel superbement décoré. Personnel très bon.

Insonorisation des chambres très mauvaise car les portes, qui sont en bois, ne bloquent pas le bruit venant des parties communes, notamment du restaurant. Petit déjeuner possible qu'à partir de 8h00, sinon il s'agit d'un petit déjeuner à emporter.

It was beautiful. Very nice and cozy space with lots of different ambients. Staff delivered such a good service. Breakfast was superb. Room was very comfortable. A real place to enjoy and relax

Everything literally was perfect.

Yyves suite was superb. Very thoughtful & comfortable. Pool was great.

Cocktails from the bar were not good. Bar tending seems inexperienced. Service was thoughtful though.

Great breakfast and excellent coffee to start the day. The bedroom and living area were lovely, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, although the bathroom could be in slightly better condition. Dinner was enjoyable, with good quality food and a nice setting. The riad itself is beautifully designed with a great atmosphere throughout, blending style and comfort really well. A special mention to Selma at reception, who was warm, welcoming, and especially helpful during our stay.

A few areas could be improved. The coffee felt overpriced at around £6 for a very small cup. Cleanliness in the room could also be better, with items like the remotes not as clean as expected and some surfaces slightly dusty. Service in the restaurant during breakfast was a bit slow at times, with staff taking longer than expected to attend to the table.

Beautiful property, with great attention to detail. Beautiful room and bathroom. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the roof as well as the bar area later in the evening.

Towels / bathrobes need to be change with new ones The room can be a little renovated, the outside of the room looks better then the room interior.

This is a very pretty place and it is quite spacious. We enjoyed all the winding steps and hidden rooms. Also very impressive IZZA branding throughout. The neighborhood is quiet and not too far from the busier areas by foot. The breakfast on the rooftop was absolutely incredible, the best we had on the trip - the highlight of our stay and the reason to return. The room was nice, a good use of the space. Great shower. Appreciated the A/C. We felt very safe leaving our bags with the hotel while we explored on the last day - much appreciated. The ride to and from the station was wonderful because we wouldn't have found it on our own (20 euros each way).

(Full disclosure: When we booked for one night, the room came with an offer of a free cocktail. We were never offered a free cocktail by the hotel and it was awkward to have to ask for a booking.com perk - so we didn't. It's possible that set the tone and the theme for the first 12 hours and has more to do with booking.com than the resort. But we did expect a different level of service for the price we paid and compared to other places we stayed at a similar rate.) We were told that if we needed anything, we only had to call the reception, but the phone in the room wouldn't connect. Booking.com suggested that the place was full, but the cute bar on the ground floor was never staffed. We went upstairs to look at the dinner menu, but the bar service made us decide not to eat dinner there. When we asked for help at the front desk with a dinner reservation, we got good service, but the restaurant was far and left us wishing we had just stayed in the riad. When we returned, we were feeling disappointed and wanted to buy a glass of wine and sit in the nice library before bed (an idea planted by the person who gave us the welcome tour). This time, when we went up to the bar, we were told that it was no longer possible to buy a glass of wine even though there were several people still working in the space. We went to bed feeling like we had fallen out of vacation mode for a bit. The next morning's lovely breakfast service brought our smiles back. :)

A genuinely lovely stay. The hotel feels like a calm oasis—beautifully designed, peaceful, and very well thought out. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the layout is so well done that it never feels cramped, with everything feeling intentional and comfortable. Service and hospitality were excellent throughout, and the breakfast was consistently very good.

Rooms are slightly compact, which may not suit those looking for more space.

The staff was first rate and very responsive and helpful before we arrived with immediate replies to my emails to helping with delicious room service after we arrived past restaurant hours. And a great breakfast at rooftop in the morning. Great hammam as well!

De riad was een prachtige locatie; het voelde knus en ruim tegelijk. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, het eten vond ik erg goed en de handige taxiservice was een uitkomst voor ons.

Aan onze kamer (Talitha) zat aan de buitenzijde een trap bevestigd. Als er mensen over de trap naar het dakterras liepen, hoorde je dat enorm doordreunen in de kamer; dit was niet altijd even prettig. Daarnaast was er op een van de avonden een feest waarover bij het boeken niets was gecommuniceerd. Dit was extreem luid. Het bed lag letterlijk te schudden door de bas. Gelukkig bleef het bij één nacht, maar aangenaam was het zeker niet.

This is my second time I stay in Izza, last year I stayed here and I was vey happy that I choose Izza, so this year definitely I would stay here again, it is perfect in every thing. And a big thanks to Salma and Ibtisam for their kindness and helpful, and to all other friendly staff .

Quieter part of the Medina but short walk to the Souk. Amazing breakfast and restaurant. Very attentive staff.

We had a brilliant stay at IZZA, it is a gorgeous place and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful riyad in everything. I like the vibe, the luxurious details, the room style, the restaurant and the lovely staff. In the first moment we enter Izza riyad we felt the special vibes.
