Mulberry House

Loved the view, amazing hospitality and food. The most peaceful mornings. Waking upto bird songs and rustling of leaves has been therapeutic to say the least. The staff were so kind, helpful and the food was top notch. Always eager to help and make our stay comfortable. We loved our interactions with Vinod and Arya.

We understand that it's 100 meters walk from the main road. However, Its uphill and the path has a lot of loose stones and muddy, We arrived post sunset and the entire path had no light and it became dangerous to walk. The property has some very steep steps, so if anyone has mobility issues and bad knees it would be difficult to navigate.

The location was absolutely lovely, so remote and the view was breathtaking from our cabin. It was incredibly quiet and serene.

The property is a little remotely located and exceptionally peaceful. It has a flair of rustic aesthetics and matches fairly with my taste of living..

Had too short a stay to find out what I would not have liked on a longer duration..

The hosts were incredibly warm and hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options, which made my trip even more enjoyable. The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering all the amenities one could need. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the common areas were cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.my breakfast was included so not much options but food was good though .

Privacy , rooms need more curtains or some better options for hiding things .

Interior and all amenities was superb. it was a comfortable stay. will definitely recommend to family & friends. Staff was very friendly, helpful and allowed us time for checkout.

The rustic charm

The heat was unbearable……

For me personally there were a lot of flaws starting from the fact that there is no road connectivity so we had to walk our way to the property and my parents had a hard time doing so. Secondly, the place had monkeys all over. And for anyone who is not that comfortable around wild can have an issue going in and out. The property as in the pictures looks more classy than in real. Everyone has their own preference for a holiday home but for us it just didnt meet the expectation.

We felt like cherished guests throughout our stay, and the memories created here will be cherished for a lifetime. This home stay truly exemplifies the essence of a perfect getaway, leaving us with a desire to return soon. Five stars don't seem enough to capture the excellence of this experience!

Gorgeous place with lots of history, amazing location and very helpful and kind staff.

Host Mr. Bakshi is a pleasant personality , he is very cordial . Staff Mr. Vinod is very courteous & punctual. The property is ideal for those seeking solitude & calmness

The property is bit far from main road to be tread by walk . Specially truoublesome if coming back to property at night & with luggages. The interior of home though vintage very minimalistic for the tariff. Lacks basic amenities like fan.It's basically a homestay type. A passable property . Nothing exceptional

The staff was very professional and decent. The served good breakfast. Dal was awesome. Overall the place felt very pleasant. The sunrise view from the window was a blessing. one needs to be fit to be able to walk to the room and the house.

We had a lovely time staying at Mulberry House. In the middle of lush green spread with well behaved and well trained local staff. They have 3 rooms and we stayed in the one with balcony. Rooms are clean and beautifully done with local elements infused to it. Me, my wife and 6 year old are coming back soon.

Everything was flawless

Our stay was serene, beautiful. The place, our host Vickram Bakshi, the team that manages the space. The food!!! The surroundings. It’s also part of the Kasar Devi Biosphere and that makes it so special energetically too. The cottages/rooms have so much character and history.

The place, the room, the vibe, the staff, the owner, how well it's situated at the centre but still cut off from the main city. I can keep going on and on and on. It's a must stay for the trip you've been looking for.

it’s cosy, you feel like home and the food is just like home made with pahadi touch I felt like not leaving we loved it no complaints at all

Had never experienced a homestay, this was an incredible experience. Best part of the homestay was the staff, scrumptious pahari food and the delightful company of the owner’s dogs.

A sense of belonging and a chill vibe is what you get as soon as you step foot at the Mulberry house! Vikram (our host) has really built something special –from the fantastic location to the awesome food to the ever smiling staff and not to forget the 2 amazing pets – this really is a tiny piece of heaven. Tucked away from the main Kasar Devi road, the Mulberry house is the perfect place to unwind and take it slow. Vikram really made us feel at home – we shared a few drinks, lovely food and many a story over the fire. He helped with some great ideas of places we could go, wonderful little cafes and restaurants we should visit and experiences that we shouldn’t miss! The staff – Vijay and Vinod are just the best. Ever ready with a smile, we were served up some yummy local food as well as other dishes catered specifically for us. And then there are the 2 pets – Guldar and Laila! Our stay wouldn’t have been perfect if not for them – the way they would greet you every morning was something special. I will definitely be back at the Mulberry house soon and highly recommend this place 😊
