Emplacement idéal car la villa est située en retrait de la route principale. Le grand terrain donne un réel sentiment d'intimité et cette maison est parfaitement entretenue. L'équipe de gestion est très professionnelle et attachante. Toujours à l'écoute de ses hôtes, c'était parfait.

Le logement est tout simplement magnifique. L’accueil est parfait Made et Putu sont adorables et se soucier de nous faire passer le meilleur séjour possible. Un grand merci pour cette équipe au top!

Villa très confortable, avec un joli jardin simple et bien entretenu. La piscine est un plus qui a beaucoup plu aux enfants. Il y a également des jeux et même une bouée. La mise à disposition de la machine à laver était très pratique. Les chambres sont immenses et confortables. Le chauffeur partenaire de la villa est adorable, n’hésitez pas à faire appel à ses services.

Le bruit la nuit : comme un peu partout à Bali, beaucoup de coqs, de chiens, et ici il y a aussi le bruit du vent dans les palmiers qui entourent la villa. Les nuits de sont pas très reposantes. L’emplacement de la climatisation dans les chambres, juste au dessus du lit, n’est pas idéale.

We were told check out was 11am but were then asked to leave at 10am.

Fabulous Villa kept immaculately by the wonderful hosts. Made was a super friendly and lovely housekeeper and made things easy for local driver and snorkelling recommendations etc. pool was a great size, tonnes of seating of all sorts around the pool.

The pressure in shower was terrible but likely just a Bali thing. Wondered if a different shower head would help? We would have loved an option for Indonesian breakfast like nasi goreng. Honestly could not fault anything, it was a gorgeous villa and would stay again if we wanted to stay in Candidasa hence our 10 rating.

Jeden morgen haben uns die freundlichen Mitarbeiter ein frisches, selbstgemachtes Frühstück zubereitet, den Pool gereinigt, den Garten auf Vordermann gebracht und die Villa gründlich geputzt. Es gibt in der näheren Umgebung sehr leckere Warungs, die alle fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Bei Bedarf, kann ein Fahrer organisiert werden, der für Ausflüge zur Verfügung steht, beispielsweise zum Virgin Beach. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt und es gibt mehr als ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegen für den Pool. Wir haben uns niemals als Fremde gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Spacious and beautiful villa with a wonderful hostess and staff.

Extremely beautiful villa, even more beautiful than in the pictures and incredibly big. The staff is very helpful and kind. We had a horrible emercency with our little son and Made even helped us in the middle of the night! One of the most beautiful places to stay in Bali!

We were met by Made and Put who showed us the Villa. We loved everything about the Villa which was a short walk from the main road in Candi Dasa. Awesome breakfasts.

The location is superb in a village but away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street but everything within walking distance. Pool is divine, the friendly staff that make a simple healthy breakfast daily

The staff is the best! So nice, so great to talk to. Also the driver is the best. The villa is super nice, so much room for everything. Pool cleaned daily. Easy access to the roads for dining options.

Location in Candidasa is perfect . Off the Main road and down a quiet lane in a picture perfect setting . The villa huge and beautiful - clean and the pool setting and outdoor ares maintained impeccably

Ruim accommodatie met prachtige tuin + fijne aparte wasruimte met wasmachine. Geweldig personeel dat een lekker ontbijtje klaar maakt voor je.

Niets op aan te merken. Misschien een strijkplank, dat zou handig zijn voor als je je was wilt vouwen of strijken. Maar dat is het enige wat ik kan bedenken.

Det er en vidunderlig villa! Vi elskede vores ophold. Made og Putu gjorde alt hvad de kunne, for at gøre det så behageligt som muligt for os! De kom hver morgen klokken ni, efter aftale og lavede dejlig morgenmad, gjorde rent, ordnede have og sørgede i det hele taget for, at vi fik et godt ophold. Made havde både balinesiske kager og rambutan med til os. Hun er en rigtig god værtinde og er meget interesseret i at høre om andre lande og kulturer. Villaen har en skøn have og pool. Sengene var gode og vi fik lov, at låne vaskemaskinen. Der er tillige fint køkken og gratis drikkevand ad libitum. Ca fem minutters gang fra villaen ligger restauranten Vincent, som er et besøg værd. Både for maden, betjeningen og den jævnlige livemusik (hvis man altså holder af jazz). Alt i alt en herlig oplevelse ! Vi kommer såmænd nok forbi, en anden gang 🥰

Hvis man sover let, kan det måske føles lidt belastende, når hanerne galer, hundene gø’er og lastbiler og motorcykler giver den gas fra morgenstunden. Hovedvejen er stærkt trafikeret og vejen fra villaen og til vejen meget mørk, men der var lygter i villaen, vi kunne tage med.

Made & Putu who prepared the sensational breakfast along with keeping the villa clean with housekeeping duties were excellent and made the villa feel like a home away from home. Both very easy going, nothing was too much trouble, always happy to oblige with any of our requests. Should also mention Nyoman who manages the villa, popped in most days just to check that everything was going ok Also Conk the driver who the villa uses for any day trips, again easy going, friendly and very reliable. Highly recommend this villa.

Loved how private it was, the outisde pool area was amazing and we spent most of our to there. The space is so beautiful!

Heel erg fijn huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk zwembad erbij en super vriendelijke mensen die alles schoon hielden en ons hielpen met vragen. Genieten van de rust was voor ons heel belangrijk, en dat konden we hier. Bedden waren ook prima.

Niets, alles was zoals beschreven toen we huis boekten.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! La villa est très belle, confortable et parfaitement entretenue. La piscine est très grande. Le personnel était extrêmement gentil et attentionné. Mention spéciale à Made, toujours souriante et disponible, qui nous a même organisé des massages et qui a vraiment rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

The villa lived up to its name! We had a really relaxing stay, the villa had all we needed and more. The villa is on the outskirts of town so is very peaceful, set amongst lush, well-kept gardens full of birds, squirrels and cute geckos. There was some noise from roosters and dogs nearby but that didn't bother us at all (light-sleepers might want to bring earplugs). The staff and manager are very helpful and welcoming, but they also gave us privacy. They cooked a delicious breakfast for us each morning and kept the villa spotless. Made also gave us lots of great tips on places to visit nearby, and Nyoman quickly organised a bike for us and when we asked for a phone holder for the bike the next day he delivered it in minutes! Enough food options nearby, a great warung just a few minutes walk away.

Really couldn't fault it. We loved our stay here and would gladly book this villa again.

Villa Serenity, the name says it all! A beautiful clean well designed villa set amongst beautiful jungle surrounds. The Villa garden is large and well manicured with tall palm trees surrounding that create a lovely afternoon breeze making the poolside area a wonderful retreat. The air conditioning works perfectly, the beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The Villa is a 5 minute walk from fantastic restaurants and warungs, and a 10 minute walk from the villa gives you access to an amazing swimming and snorkeling beach. The best part of our stay was meeting the villa staff, Made, Putu and Nyoman. Made and Putu made us a delicious breakfast every morning, kept the villa and grounds absolutely spotless and attended to our every need. They even gave us a sambal cooking lesson on our final day which was so lovely! Made organised massages and manicures and made sure I was well pampered. The only downfall to our stay was saying goodbye to them as I felt like we were leaving family. We arrived as guests and left as friends. If you go to Candi dasa you need to stay here, it is paradise.

The pool - the gardens - huge! House is beautiful - great size. Outdoor area is fantastic for lazing around. Beds were very comfortable. Situated in a quiet local street only a short 5 minute walk to warungs and shops. Made and staff are warm and welcoming. We appreciated the freshly cooked breakfast each morning - bacon included.

Water pressure in the showers. Very thin blankets (basically just sheets) - aircon on = too cold - aircon off = boiling hot. Was supplied with extra when we asked though :)

We hebben het echt heel erg naar ons zin gehad met onze 2 kinderen (3 en 6). De villa en vooral de tuin is prachtig. En zo groot! De kamers zijn ruim en schoon met overal mooi uitzicht. De kindjes vonden het geweldig om overal gekko's te zien. Wij hebben via de aardige meneer die ons welkom heette scooters gehuurd en die stonden de volgende ochtend gelijk klaar. Ook het ontbijt was heerlijk en fijn dat je daar niet de deur voor uit hoeft. Leuke restaurants in de omgeving (Astawa is een aanrader). Sowieso een leuke omgeving om te verkennen op de scooter (aapjes kijken op de weg als je zo'n 10 minuten verder rijdt, virgin beach, de bergen richting Sidemen, rijstvelden). En de lieve mevrouw en andere mensen die de villa beheren waren echt zo vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gezellig. We vonden het dan ook echt jammer om de villa weer te moeten verlaten en verder te gaan. Bedankt!

We loved the location of the property. 10 minutes walk to the beach. A few minutes walk to the main street. Our kids loved the pool and the house is very spacious and well laid out. When we were too tired to eat out we were able to order from The Lounge Room restaurant and they delivered. Great service. The best thing about the villa was the staff. Made and Putu are so lovely and take great care of the villa and guests. We had a fantastic stay.

We loved everything about the property, the layout was perfect as we were two couples it worked well for us, the pool was so lovely, the best thing were the staff Made, Pluto and Nhymon all very attentive and cooked a great breakfast, and Konk our driver who was amazing

The villa had plenty of space, the outdoor area was very enjoyable and the daily staff made sure everything was clean & cooked a good breakfast and helped to arrange a driver for us.

Some of the covers on the sofa & outdoor lounges had stains on them & need either replacing or a deep clean. One of the aircon systems in the lounge did not work so it was too warm. we only stayed 3 nights and on the morning we left the engineers had arrived to fix it, a lot faster than it would have been in the UK!

Nice space to relax and spend time with the family. Staff members were amazing and helpful.

Guests need to be mindful that local lizards are going to visit. Not a big deal

This place is heaven! We don’t want people to know about it so it doesn’t get booked up for when we want to return! The staff come to make breakfast and will help with anything you need to organise. Also rate Antara as a local driver if you want great local knowledge and safe driving.

Exceptional! This was the PERFECT stay. We are a group of old friends - 3 adults with 2 kids age 10 and 12 and every one of us loved our whole experienece here. The villa is even better than the pictures - the garden is incredible, and there's so much space in the grounds. The rooms are generous and airy, and the villa team (Made and Puta) were so accomodating, helpful and friendly. We are now staying at another Villa in a different location and we are all commenting on how, even though it's lovely, the team and the whole villa Sereneity experience were next level. Thank you for our stay!

Good location for the restaurants and shops located at one end of the Main Street of Candidasa ( near the Lilly pond / lagoon ) . Good facilities , bathrooms and bedrooms are a good size . The staff that come in every day are warming and friendly , the lovely Puta and Made make a great breakfast and will share all the info you need about the surrounding area and even the Bali way of life . Conk the driver can arrange day trips for you if you like and can also arrange transfers on to your next accommodation if you need it . A great chill out place and we had a great time .

One thing we wish we knew before booking, though it was manageable is that the villa is split into 2 fully independent “zones” (2 bedroom one side, 1 bedroom the other side) with no inside go-through : at night with young kids, this means you cannot really lock the villa if you want to leave a chance to your young kids to come and look for their parents in case of issues ; which can be felt uncomfortable to leave them in an unlock bedroom (unless you lock them from outside but they might struggle to unlock if any problem).

We were very satisfied with theSerenity villa. A wonderful place with beautiful people, 10-point behavior. We are very happy that we chose this villa.

Beautiful, quiet, private location. Close to beach, restaurants and shops. Staff were amazing. So helpful with organising drivers for the day and coming every morning to clean and make a lovely breakfast for us. Hope the female staff members daughter had a wonderful 5th birthday. (forget her name, sorry) who came to clean and make breakfast. 😊. Highly recommend.

I can not fault this place at all and I am envious of the Villa owner as it is just an overall great place. Secluded and quiet, but only a 5 minute walk to some great restaurants. Great staff and Made the chef whipped us up some great local delicacies for breakfast 😋

Absolutely fantastic haven of tranquility. Gorgeous home, pool all to ourselves in a lovely garden setting. Staff all excellent, especially Made. Breakfast made everyday. Lovely warning Puspa at top of street across the busy road. Lots of cafes and restaurants to eat but on busy main road. Supermarket nearby. Recommend candidates and this spot if you need a reset and time to yourselves by your own pool in resort standard surrounds. Will definitely go back when we need a good rest and relax. Worth the 90 minutes from airport drive to walk into our own private oasis. We were a couple so just used one side of the property but the other rooms and bathroom looked as good. Recommend the massage from lady who comes to you.

The villa was just beautiful with a deep pool and beautiful garden. The beds were comfortable and the large living room also had air con. We are a family with 3 almost grown children and it suited us well. Lots of restaurants very close and we ordered delivery pizza from ciao pizza (delicious) to enjoy the villa in the evenings too. We spent 2 days at virgin beach which was beautiful and just a short taxi trip away. Enjoyed sightseeing in East Bali too. Lovely staff - we will be back!

What a FABULOUS place. HUGE villa and grounds, spotless, and the most WONDERFUL staff. As a couple, we had searched for a 1 bedroom villa with a private pool and locked this property in for 10 nights. We missed that it was, in fact, a sprawling 3 bedroom villa. On arrival we played like Goldie Locks and got to choose our bedroom. The king bed was incredibly comfortable; it's a small thing, but loved that the kitchen hosted a 19L water cooler, so no daily lugging bottled water from a shop. And, almost unheard of ... there's a washing machine. It is located at the northern end of the Candidasa tourist strip, but down a side street, and is surrounded by nothing much other than dense coconut palms, banana trees, a multitude of hens, chicks, roosters and some cows! Delightful surrounds if you're looking for something more natural. The property is also only 100 to 600 meters from great warungs, with more tourist centric cafes/restaurants within 1km. The warm, friendly, and obliging Ni Made and I Putu looked after our breakfast and incredibly thorough cleaning of the whole villa complex daily, and I Nyoman oversaw the gardens and a couple of small items we needed sorted. And don't look further afield than the property's recommended driver, Conk - an excellent driver and guide, knowledgeable and fun. Hopefully, the owner of this property appreciates the great asset he has in Villa Serenity's staff. After many trips to Bali, this was our first stay in Candidasa. We believe having the luck to stay at Villa Serenity has left us wishing to return. Thank you, score 100/100!

Absolutely fantastic villa in the perfect location surrounded by local houses. As soon as you enter the front door you are relaxed and at ease..The villa is complemented by staff Made and Putu who will go above and beyond to make your stay even more enjoyable. Everyone in the area are very friendly and we felt safe day and night. Restaurants and Warungs are minutes away with many choices. At the moment the area is very quiet and worth the 2 hour journey from the airport. We went to relax and were not disappointed.

There is nothing not to like. The sound of the roosters and dogs make it more enjoyable.

Perfect locale for city slickers who want to experience parts of Bali that are relatively untouched by commercialization. John has found the ideal location and built a neat property that is hidden away, yet is a few minutes walk from restaurants and grocery stores. A special call out to the people who make the Villa into a home - Chong (guide & driver), Made & Putu (Housekeepers) and Nyoman (Estate Manager). They ensure the stay is perfect with authentic Balinese hospitality and are genuinely good people looking out for you.

The greatest accommodation we've ever been in Candidasa! Everything was new and clean. You find everything you need to live independent. The staff is incredible, the breakfast very good and the atmosphere perfect for making holiday with the family. We loved the location and will come back for sure. Many thanks to John and his staff
