Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Most incredible location and views 2 the ocean, sheeps, horses! Solitude, non-annoying host, feeling of total privacy and opportunity to relax.
Well. you never know what exactly to expect when it's a private house. The bathroom was little rustic and not modern, but who cares - when you can see the ocean from the living room window! There was no air-conditioner - but who needs it when you have a constant ocean breeze through your window?

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026The location is perfect if you want quiet and amazing scenary. Horses, sheep, cows all around, great atmosphere to relax and enjoy walks along the ocean. Host is wonderful with great sense of humor, makes sure you feel comfortable. Tea, coffee available and a few treats. No kitchen but a great loving room with comfy sofas to enjoy the seaview. And what a nice dog 🐶 Definitely recommend!

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Tout !!! La gentillesse de notre hôtesse, la beauté des lieux, l’impression d’être à la maison. Les chambres sont parfaites, le salon-salle à manger avec coin cuisine (micro-ondes, bouilloire, grille-pain) est parfait pour se restaurer. On y a dîner et petit déjeuner. Notre hôtesse nous a emmené faire un tour le soir avec sa voiture pour nous montrer un joli coin en bord de mer et nous avons bavardé comme de vieilles amies. Merci 1000 fois, je recommande hautement cette maison qui a une âme et une belle âme

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Die Unterkunft war toll. Es war ein schnuckliges irisches Häuschen. Man lebt mit den Vermietern unter einem Dach. Der Vermieter zeigte und alles und lies einem danach in Ruhe. Der Sohn der Familie gab alles, damit wir Internet haben.
Die Nacht war sehr kalt. Am Morgen fanden wir niemanden zum Check-out, weshalb wir es mit einer Nachricht auf Booking.com machen mussten.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Exceptional hosts who are friendly and generous. Patricia even gave us a lift to the local pub and back and welcomed us as if we were family. Access to a light breakfast, microwave, kettle, toaster and mini fridge. Ocean views and a short walk to a shore for amazing scenery. Pastoral scenes includung horses and sheep in surrounding fields. A short drive into Easky or Enniscrone which both have fun options for day trips. Tra beach in Enniscrone is fantastic with free parking and public toilets. A fun 18 hole pitch n putt in town with ocean views for 10 euro per person, including clubs and balls. Good pubs and restaurants and the cool saltwater seaweed bath house, well worth doing! It was a highlight for us on the West Coast! We'll be back again!

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Sind freundlich empfangen worden, durften uns ein Zimmer aussuchen. Es gibt etwas kleines am Morgen, Kaffee oder Tee, Toast, Butter und Käse. Es sind ca 5 Minuten zum Meer, wir hatten einen atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang.
Leider haben wir kein WLAN gehabt, das war schade.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026What an absolute gem along the Atlantic coast. We received the warmest welcome into a beautiful home, truly the epitome of Irish B&B experiences. The location is absolutely wonderful - so tranquil. We managed to watch the last few minutes of a gorgeous sunset at the bottom of the road - I wish we had a bottle of wine ith us!
That we were only there for about 12 hours due to our schedule!

Everything was beautifully presented and nothing was too much trouble. Really nice touch being able to have cereal or toast before our journey. Absolutely loved our stay with this lovely family and will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026This stay was absolutely amazing, pulled up Shamus the owner was just coming back from a dog walk. I was instantly amazed with the property. Shamus was very welcoming and helpful with advice about things to do and go ect. Went to my room everything was absolutely spotless and well presented. The bedding smelt absolutely fresh and well scented . This is the best so far credit to team Seafront house Sligo 5*

A sigh out front or clear directions would be helpful. There was no photo of the exterior and no sign out front so it was difficult to find. Also, a couple of glasses in the room would be helpful for drinking and brushing teeth.

Reviewed May 23, 2026Our room was clean, comfy bed, and large bathroom. Nice breakfast area and supplies for a light breakfast. Patricia and Seamus were super welcoming. We got a tour of the stables and horses. It was a short walk to the beach. A very relaxing rural location. Patricia provided some local history and tips for sights to take in. Would have never looked for a secret entrance in the fireplace at the Easky Tower site that allowed us to climb three stories.
Nothing to add here. Would love to return someday and recommend this to others.

Es gibt einen Aufenthaltsraum zusätzlich zum eigenen Zimmer mit Bad, wo man aufs Meer schauen kann und sogar ein paar Kleinigkeiten fürs Frühstück(obwohl offiziell keines dabei ist). Das ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig und gleich neben der Küste.

Reviewed May 1, 2026Patricia and Seamus could not have been more welcoming to their lovely home, beautifully located a short stroll from the rugged shoreline. Horses, hares and sheep abound with a very friendly Labrador in residence. A real retreat with fantastic sunsets and perfectly located to see The Northern Lights. Loads to see and do in the area.

They were friendly, welcoming, and gave us some wonderful recommendations for places to visit, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and appreciated the hosts’ kindness and helpfulness.
The location is slightly outside the city center, but whether that’s a downside or not really depends on your preferences and what kind of stay you’re looking for.

The common room was well equipped with a table, dinner ware, and a sofa and armchair to relax in. Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed Oct 8, 2025Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und kommunikativ. Man fühlt sich gleich wie Zuhause. Dazu die wunderschöne Aussicht aufs Meer und die Schafe. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem. Ich wurde sogar gefragt, ob ich mich auf eins ihrer Pferde setzen möchte. Und es gab Brot, Aufschnitt, Kaffee, Tee und Cornflakes zur freien Verfügung. Abwaschen musste man auch nicht. Es steckt sehr viel Liebe in diesem Haus und das spürt man.
Ein Föhn im Badezimmer oder ein Duschvorhang wären toll gewesen. Eine kleine Ablage für die Kosmetiktasche wäre auch toll gewesen.

Obwohl es nicht als BnB ausgeschildert ist, gibt es einen Aufenthaltsraum, in welchem Zutaten für ein Frühstück zur Verfügung stehen,, das habe ich sehr geschätzt. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte alles, was man benötigt. Die Gastgeber sind äusserst freundlich, offen, zuvorkommend und nett. Als ich Probleme mit meinem Fahrrad hatte, haben sie mir geholfen, bis ich wieder fahren konnte. Ich kann das Seafront House wirklich nur empfehlen.

The room was very clean, and the property offered amazing views that made the experience even more special. Our friendly hostess went above and beyond, even offering us a lift to and from town, which was incredibly convenient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay! Offered great advice on places for dinner and drinks. Great area for surfing and enjoying the wild Atlantic Way.
