Amazing size room and balcony, very good AC. No communal areas at all, but there is a reception desk.

The room overall was so spacious! Also the bathroom. They also have their own first aid kid which was very useful for us. They tourist book also is very useful!

The hot and cold function of the shower is working on the contrary 😅

Petit hôtel très chaleureux, avec un personnel adorable et aux petits soins. Situé légèrement à l’écart du centre, ce qui est un vrai plus pour profiter du calme et éviter l’affluence.

Petit-déjeuner en supplément, ce qui peut sembler un peu élevé au vu des prestations globales proposées.

Le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas À mon arrivée la personne a l’accueil à demander au tuctuc de monter ma valise chose qu’il n’a pas accepté car ça n’est pas son travail et son rôle elle m’a alors demandé combien j’avais payé le trajet (chose qui ne les regarde pas) en prenant sa plaque car elle n’a pas apprécié son refus

We loved the location it was amazing and bike rental next door. Breakfast was amazing and staff were so lovely and friendly.

The view of the balcony was very open and on a side street. We had to keep curtains closed most of the time. A kid walked into our room twice one morning we forgot to lock the door. The floor was always dirty.

Personalet er fantastisk. Super søde og hjælpsomme. Hotellet er lille og intimt men ligger en lille gåtur fra byen så dejlig roligt. Virkelig fine værelser som er smukt indrettet. Aircon virker super godt. Du kan leje scooter billigt fra dag til dag hos naboen og der ligger også en kiosk 30 meter derfra til køb af drikkevarer. Morgenmaden er simpel og bliver serveret på værelset, men der er 3 forskellige muligheder du kan vælge imellem. Personalet gør en kæmpe forskel med alt du behøver.

Man skal være forberedt på generelt på Filippinerne at vandet er lavt tryk, hvilket ikke påvirkede vores ophold.

Jolie décoration, climatisation non bruyante, distributeur d eau à volonté à l accueil, le calme du quartier contrairement au centre touristique tres bruyant (15mns à pieds, 4 en scooter) et malgré tout des petits restos, boutiques, loueurs de scoot...

Le lit du dessus grince😉😮‍💨la très forte lumière de l éclairage nocturne de l hotel qui passe au travers des rideaux non occultant. Des serviettes pour les mains et un tapis de douche serait souhaitable. Les distributeurs de la douche ne délivrent qu une minuscule goutte de savon ou shampoing, il faut l actionner énormément avant d avoir une dose utilisable.

Very spacious and clean room with modern interior. It is a bit outside the center which makes is nice and calm compared to el Nido town. There is a scooter rental next door which is perfect

Vriendelijk personeel, fijne, schone kamer met prettige buitenruimte

In de avond geen fijne wandeling in je eentje vanaf het centrum. Taxi’s en scooters kunnen later op de avond niet meer naar het hotel vanwege het tij. Voor ons geen probleem, we hadden gewoon de scooter net voor de afgang naar het strand neergezet en liepen de rest

Me encantó que tuvieron la consideración de ponernos en la pieza más grande, ya que estabamos de luna de miel. Siempre que pedimos que hicieran la limpieza, la hicieron de muy buena manera. Muy amables para coordinar cosas.

No me gustó que la zona del baño no tuviera puertas... es solamente con cortinas, no tiene mucha privacidad. Al menos eran cortinas blancas y no se sentía tan sucio. La ubicación es un aspecto importante ya que para llegar solamente puedes a través de la playa, si saliste a comer o de fiesta, a cierta hora la marea sube y no puedes pasar con un tuktuk... toca caminar y son como 20 minutos por una zona oscura.

Un petit peu de bruit de la route (tuk tuk) et des voisins… mais rien de mal car très calme la nuit !

Hôtel situé à 10-15 min à pied du centre de El Nido. Très confortable. L'eau n'est par contre pas potable, il faut donc faire attention. Une fontaine à eau est disponible dans l'hôtel. L'endroit est un peu bruyant le matin. La litterie est très confortable et la petite terrasse est très agréable.

Все чудово, чисто, приємний аромат в кімнаті, є гаряча вода, кондиціонер працює тихо, ліжко велике. Віддалено від центру, але в цьому своя перевага - тихо навколо (бо в центрі до 2-3 ночі сильно гуцулить музика і гарчать тук-туки і зранку о 6й вони вже знову починають їздити). Так вийшло, що подорож бронювали дуже швидко, майже в останні дні і знайти нормальний готель на 5 днів підряд було важко, то мали 4 готелі і якщо вибрати з 4х в якій би йще раз повернулися, то це був би Serenity hotel.

Дітям не вистачало телевізору:))

La propreté, la décoration et la qualité du matériel, de la douche de la literie

Overall, the hotel is lovely. There are only four rooms, which are big, with comfortable big bed and pillows, and a very tasteful decor. Air con works well, there is a free supply of filtered water, and the area, Caalan, is much more authentic and quieter than the touristic centre of El Nido - we didn't mind it being a little harder to get to. Reception kindly kept our bags for two nights when we travelled elsewhere and returned for a final night at Serenity. Staff was generally kind and polite.

There are a few reasons for the lower score: - We booked two tours at the front desk. I paid for both tours (or at least that's what I remember) and asked for a receipt, which I was told was not necessary. After we completed the second tour, we were asked to pay for it again, but of course I had no proof that it had already been paid for. The staff said they would check the CCTV whilst we went into town to got money (only accepted cash) for it, but upon return they just said 'you have to pay'. No CCTV footage was shown to us, despite the promise. We ended up having to pay, but with no proof that this was justified. If you stay here, make sure you ask for receipts of extras that you pay for. - The tap in the basin was missing the handle, the soap dispenser was faulty and oozed liquid in every direction when pressed (not hard to buy a new one!!), the handle of the shower indicated H/C the wrong way, leading to cold showers on the first day. Bathroom smelt bad. On our second stay we were not given hand towels or toilet paper. - The owner of the hotel was occupying the 'good' room with beautiful, quiet views over the green forest, whilst we were given the front room, with views over construction and the busy street!!! - On one of the nights there was a generator that ran all night, very loudly. I know you just have to deal with these things, as they are sometimes out of control of the property, but still, we were ill and it just made sleeping difficult and unpleasant. If a little more care was taken, this would really be a great place to stay and worth the money.

The room was pretty cozy , comfortable with your own outdoor sitting area.

The location was in Calaan, off downtown, at high tide you have to wade on the beach to get to the access road.

Le prix 87 euros la nuit les draps étaient usés et commencer a se déchirer dommage qu il y ai pas le petit déjeuner pas d explication comme pour l eau qu il fallait aller chercher a l accueil 2 disette de café pour 3 nuits passer a 87 euros la nuit j avais espérer un peu mieux la plage a côté impossible de se baigner

Super hôtel ! Nous avions réservé un autre hôtel duquel nous avons dû partir car c’était miteux. Nous avons donc réservé ce logement qui est vraiment super, grand propre, de l’eau chaude, un lit confortable, un balcon. Du thé du café mis à disposition ainsi que de l’eau. Merci

Les personnelles( Tisay et Sam) sont très serviables et gentils. Grand lit et déco sympa.

Manques un p'tit table poser des affaires dans la salle de bain et manque aussi pour sécher les serviettes de plage.

Les chambres sont vraiment très belle très propre et ça sent très bon La dame de l’accueille est à votre disposition, très professionnel et très sympathique ( cela n’est pas vraiment le cas partout au Philippine)

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est vraiment à demie teinte, à la fois cela est agréable car vous êtes à 15 minute de marche du centre ville de El nido Mais par contre l’accès à l’hôtel en tuktuk avec vos valise est vraiment compliquer car vous devez longer la plage ( sur le sable ) puis prendre un chemin chaotique c’est très très compliqué et le soir avec la marée haute, les tuktuk ne peuvent plus passer

Sam and Disay were both very welcoming and helpful during our 4 night stay. Nothing was too much trouble.

Access to the main town is restricted by the tide covering road along the beach. Approximately 2 hours per day.

Die Zimmer sind gross und geraeumig und schoen eingerichtet, sodass man sich sehr wohl fuehlt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Fusslaufig ca. 10 Minuten vom Zentrum. Die bellenden Hunde aus einem anderen Kommentar konnen wir nicht bestaetigen. Alle Hunde sind ruhig und gelassen wie wir es ueberall auf den Philippinen erlebt haben.

Man sollte wissen, dass man abends ueber den Strand zur Unterkunft muss. Bei Flut ist dieser leicht ueberschwemmt sodass man ein kleines Stueck barfuss gehen sollte. Uns hat das aber nicht gestoert. Im Bad riecht es manchmal unangenehm (vermutlich durch die Abfluesse). Das Personal haben wir leider als nicht sehr willkommensfreundlich und herzlich empfunden (ist es besonders negativ aufgefallen, da es sonst auf den Philippinen ueberall komplett anders war). Wir hatten ueber das Hotel einen Schuttle vom Puerto Flughafen bestellt und die Flugnr durchgegeben. Unser Abflug hat sich allerdings um 30 Minuten verspaetet. Der Shuttle hat nicht auf uns gewartet und wir haben auch keine Nachricht erhalten. Im Hotel haben wir niemanden mehr erreicht, da es schon abends war. Die spontane Umplanung war ziemlich hektisch und chaotisch. Wir haben uns noch selbst etwas organsieren koennen und konnten unser Zimmer nachts noch beziehen, Auf unsere ganzen Nachrichten hat sich aber selbst am naechsten Tag niemand gekuemmert und am Ende wurde uns noch gesagt es war unsere Schuld, da wir nicht Bescheid gegeben haben. Unsere Fluege haben sich staendig verspaetet. Genau dafuer gibt man ja auch die Flugnr durch. Sehr aergerliche Erfahrung und auch danach keine besonders gute Kommunikation. Deswegen haben wir uns auch nicht 100% wohl gefuehlt und wuerden beim naechsten Mal eher eine andere Unterkunft waehlen.

Sehr hübsches Zimmer. Lage etwas abseits.

Die Schlafzimmer sind ganz schön eingerichtet, die Betten sind groß und bequem. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Schlafzimmer war sauber

Das Bad ist nicht richtig sauber und riecht unangenehm, das Wasser riecht ebenso unangenehm, die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war ein etwas seltsamer Tümpel. Das schlimmste war allerdings die Lage. Als wir ankamen war Vollmond und damit eine sehr starke Flut. Es ist unmöglich über den Weg am Strand zum Hotel zu kommen. Es gibt einen alternativen Weg durch Hinterhöfe der Einheimischen, den man allerdings ohne Hilfe niemals findet. Unsere Freunde kamen erst gegen 22.00 Uhr an, als die Flut an ihrem höchsten Punkt stand, es wäre unmöglich gewesen, auf dem Strandweg mit Koffern sicher zum Hotel zu kommen. Mit Hilfe eines Einheimischen haben wir dann den alternativen Weg gefunden. Das Hotel wusste, dass unsere Freunde so spät abends ankommen und wie die Situation sein würde. Meines Erachtens hätten sie uns hierauf aufmerksam machen müssen.

Chambre cosy, très joliment décorée et très bien aménagée. La salle de bain est top et la chambre également. La terrasse est agréable et permet une pause entre le dîner et le coucher. Disponibilite du personnel pour trouver notre excursion et organiser ce que nous souhaitions. Un séjour vraiment top.

Rien !! Tout était conforme à nos attentes.

Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Personeel sprak erg goed Engels. De kamers waren ontzettend schoon en zagen er goed uit. De bedden waren ook erg comfortabel. De airco werkt goed en heb je ook echt nodig.

Ik vond het erg duur. Er zit een open raam bij de douche. Goed voor de doorluchting, maar de insecten die er doorheen komen minder fijn. We hebben er een handdoek voor moeten hangen.

Große Betten und nettes Personal

Die Lage ist nicht sehr optimal. Bei Flut kann man das Hotel nicht mehr über den Strand erreichen. Wir sind spät abends angekommen und wussten erstmal nicht wie wir zum Hotel gelangen sollen, da der Weg (der Strand) komplett unter Wasser war. Uns hat zum Glück ein local weitergeholfen, dem wir etwas Geld gegeben hatten. So konnten wir einen anderen „inoffiziellen“ Weg nehmen.

The property is pretty in aesthetics and staff is really good, however it is not really worth for the money. It is a tiny space and the location is secluded when the high tide comes. So this makes the entire stay a bit uncomfortable.

The staff didn’t handle some things well. We booked a taxi for early morning, but we weren’t informed about the high tide, so we had to walk a long distance before finding a taxi. The road to the property is poorly constructed. There was no Wi-Fi and no purified drinking water, although we were told there would be. The reception also closed earlier than stated, and we had to bring our laundry to the laundry service ourselves even though it was advertised as being offered.

De bohemiam vakantiestijl van de accomodatie

De accomodatie was niet voorzien op ‘typhoon’ weer. We hadden 4 dagen amper elektriciteit (licht, wifi, airco, opladen van elektro,… was super onregelmatig met de generator. De wifi heeft bij ons 4 dagen niet gewerkt en hadden ook geen bereik op kamer) en amper warm water tot zelfs soms geen water. Het is zeker een aanrader om te doen tijdens droog seizoen maar ik mistte echt het comfort van de faciliteiten, zeker voor het geld dat we hebben betaald.

Bardzo czysty i dobrze utrzymany obiekt, ładny wystrój, na miejscu wszystko, co potrzebne podczas wyjazdu.

Lokalizacja trochę na uboczu, wieczorem trzeba przejść kawałek ciemną drogą koło cmentarza, dla osób podróżujących solo może być to zniechęcające.

The staff were Amazing Sam was the best he went above and beyond to help us and guide us in every way he could , he even stayed back one night from his shift to tell us something. Sam made us want to come back .

Definitely the beautiful staff it was close to everything the hot shower and comfy bed , was what we needed after a long bike ride

La habitación abajo en la planta principal era muy amplia. Cama cómoda y las almohadas perfectas para poder descansar. Tiene refrigerador, puntazo!

La habitación estaba limpia y se veía más moderna, el personal muy simpático, tienes agua embotellada 24h.

La ubicación no es muy buena, tienes que andar 7/10 minutos hasta lo que es el propio pueblo de El Nido, y por la noche mejor volver en tuktuk. El hotel como tal no tiene nada, 4 habitaciones y ya.

That we couldnt stay longer

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und wohl ziemlich neu. Es gibt gratis Trinkwasser und El Nido Town ist zu Fuss in 10-15 min zu erreichen.

Leider hatten wir das Pech, während eines Sturms im Serenity zu sein. Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss wurde geflutet und Stromversorgung sowie Wifi funktionierten selten. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich und hilfreich, und die Wäsche die nötig war um unsere durchnässten Kleider trocken zu kriegen wurde uns bezahlt. Die abgelegene Lage war in diesem Fall eher ein Nachteil, dürfte in der Trockenzeit aber tiptop sein!

L'hôtel est situé dans le quartier de Caalan à 5 minutes du centre d'El Nido, ce qui est parfait comme la ville est un peu chaotique... Le bâtiment est récent. La chambre est calme et très propre, jolie déco, literie comfortable, petit frigo et petite terrasse agréable

L’emplacement était parfait, loin du bruit de el nido. 15min de marche avec une vue magnifique pour arriver dans le centre, c'était parfait.

Net wat uit de drukte, heel fijn! Grote kamer, mooi balkon, heel fijn , groot bed. Vriendelijk, erg behulpzaam personeel.

Location was ok.

We had serious problems with the water.in the hotel. We understand that the majority of the facilities on the island run on well water, which is fine. But the problem was that this was 100% untreated brackish (dark) water the smell of sulfer (rotten eggs) was so bad that it left the entire room in an unbearable stench everytime you turned on the water. You had to open the doors and let the room ventilate. You could not take a shower with the water because the smell was so bad. Not to mention how bad it is for your skin, hair and body. We booked for 3 nights but due to the water problem we were forced to leave after 1 night. We had to look for other accommodations which at this time of season was extraordinary hard to find. Luckily we were able to find a place a few yards away. A bit more pricey but well worth it. We had complained to the management about the water, but unfortunately nothing was done. As if they didn't care. While rereading the reviews it seems like this is an ongoing issue with this hotel, given that almost 95% of the complaints in the last couple of months are due to the same problem. (This was not the case when we had booked several months ago) My recommendation is NOT TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL! IT IS NOT SANITARY SAFE!!!

Muy bonito y muy cómodo

We really liked the welcome we received, not the reception desk. The lady was very friendly. The room was well-equipped and nicely decorated. I recommend it for one night. We stayed here the night before our departure to be close to the airport.

The hotel is near the city center, but there are only very few tuk-tuks available in the evening. Also, there was an unpleasant smell in the shower which was a bit off-putting for us. But these are just minor details.

Fijne plek dicht bij het centrum De kamer was prima ingericht en had alles wat we nodig hadden. Je loopt zo naar het centrum, dus de locatie is echt ideaal. Het personeel was supervriendelijk en er stond altijd drinkwater klaar.

De geur van het douchewater rook enorm en was wat minder comfortabel.

Der Strand war schnell zu erreichen und das Personal war sehr nett. Die Zimmergröße war auch sehr angenehm und das Bett bequem.

Alles super, bis auf dass, das Wasser aus der Dusche immer einen komischen Geruch hatte…

Très chouette établissement à 15min à pieds du centre d’El Nido.

Emplacement assez proche à pied du centre de El Nido. Accueil correct mais sans plus.

Manque clairement de propreté (je ne vais pas tout détailler …) mais surtout une odeur nauséabonde constante de l’eau. Même, si bien évidement on ne boit pas l’eau , on se lave avec, il faut donc imaginer avoir l’odeur constamment sur soit et dans la chambre. Reculé du centre oui, mais finalement pas mal de bruit car la chambre n’est pas isolée du tout et le passage de tuktuk, scoters sont très frequents.
