I honestly don't know where to start. I spent 5 nights at this hotel and booked a Premium Room instead of the regular Deluxe Room because I expected it to be better. Little did I know I was far from right. First of all, our room was on the first floor, right next to a side street and at the edge of the main street. I'm a light sleeper, and I couldn't sleep properly a single night. I would only manage to fall asleep around 4–5 AM, even though my normal bedtime is around midnight. Because of the noise and lack of sleep, our whole schedule was ruined. We would wake up exhausted and late, which affected the plans we had made for our vacation. A lot of things had to be changed or rushed, and our plans simply didn't turn out the way we had hoped. I complained at reception, but they told me the hotel was overbooked. Abderahman from reception said he would get back to me the next day, but he never did. On top of that, the room itself was in very poor condition. For a Premium Room, it honestly felt more like a 2-star hotel. The wallpaper was coming off in several places and had stains from some kind of white substance in multiple areas. The keycard detector was also broken and looked really ugly, it almost looked like a regular keyhole rather than a keycard system. The bathroom had its own problems. The sliding door only worked on one side; the other was detached from the frame and wouldn't slide. The bathroom also leaked whenever we showered, so we had to put a towel on the floor, which would get completely soaked. We had to ask for extra towels almost every day because of this. The bathroom wall was also cracked. The body lotion provided was clearly very old. When I tried to use it, the oil had separated from the white substance and it looked like rotten milk. Needless to say, I didn't use it again. The staff weren't particularly friendly either. The housekeeper was the exception, she was genuinely very nice and friendly.

Had a nice enough stay and would stay again. Really convenient, staff were on point and really attentive to the guests. The hotel is giving we have a great location so don’t really need try hard to stay popular vibes. Pool Facilities seemed a bit dated. The Pizza on room service was really poor.

Un très agréable séjour au Barceló ! Un grand merci à Aziz, à la réception, pour son accueil chaleureux, sa gentillesse et sa grande disponibilité, qui ont vraiment contribué à rendre le séjour agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, très varié et de qualité.

Petit bémol : un souci d’eau chaude pendant le séjour, qui m’a obligée à prendre une douche froide 😅, mais le problème a heureusement été rapidement réglé.

Pour des raisons personnelles et professionnelles j étais dans l’obligation de faire des nouveau Check in et à ma surprise aujourd’hui il me dise que je dois libérer la chambre on a un groupe alors que j y étais la pendsnd 5 nuit j étais traité comme un chien

La soupe Saint Germain (Bissara) présentait souvent un arrière goût et les œufs durs ont la coque qui s'arrache difficilement.

Amazing stay at Barceló Tanger I stayed at Barceló Tanger for 3 nights, and honestly, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel has a beautiful modern atmosphere, excellent facilities, and a fantastic location with amazing views. What really made my stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The service was excellent and made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, and the overall hotel atmosphere was relaxing and luxurious. The location is also perfect for exploring Tangier, with many places easily accessible from the hotel. I truly enjoyed my time at Barceló Tanger and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tangier. Highly recommended!

Amazing location, great room with view and large balcony+seating area. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

The sliding door in the bathroom was very hard to open and close. Asked them to fix it but no luck.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait, de l’accueil au service, en passant par la propreté et le confort de la chambre. Le personnel est très agréable, professionnel et à l’écoute. L’emplacement est également idéal, ce qui permet de profiter facilement des alentours. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner, qui est varié, copieux et de très bonne qualité. L’hôtel est très bien entretenu et l’ambiance est agréable. Je n’ai vraiment rien à reprocher, tout s’est très bien passé. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir !

Séjour au top ! Un personnel aux petits soins et toujours attentionné. Mention spéciale à Mohcin à la réception et à Fatima Ezzahra au SPA pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe !

Chambre peu confortable, avec un bruit important provenant de la climatisation à l’étage 8, qui a perturbé mon sommeil toute la nuit. J’ai demandé à changer de chambre, mais malheureusement, le personnel n’a pas accordé suffisamment d’attention à ma demande. Plus globalement, j’ai eu le sentiment que les clients ayant réservé via Booking.com ne bénéficient pas toujours du même niveau d’attention, notamment dans le choix et le confort des chambres

The location is good.

Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing and the hotel is no longer at the standard I expected. The rooms are poorly insulated, especially on the first floor. Our room faced the street and we could hear a lot of outside noise throughout the day and night which made sleep difficult. There was also a strong sewage smell in the room. We had to ask to change rooms because the smell was so strong. Unfortunately, even after changing rooms, the smell was still present, although less noticeable. The customer service was lacking. Our room was not cleaned regularly and when it was cleaned it was not always done thoroughly. Interestingly, when we left a tip for the housekeeper, the room was suddenly cleaned properly and with much more attention to detail 🙄 We were three people in the room but there were not enough towels or water bottles provided. These are basic amenities that should be provided for the number of guests staying in the room. The food did not always seem fresh. There was one water melon clearly spoiled and had a very strong smell. I had to point it out to the staff before it was replaced, which they did. I am particularly disappointed because I had stayed at this hotel twice before when it had just opened and I had a much better impression at the time. Unfortunately, the hotel has changed considerably and is no longer at the same standard.

酒店根本没有准备好迎接大客流，我叫了婴儿床服务，和铺沙发床，至少等了3-4个小时，而且酒店的隔音做的太差了，临街酒店，外面很吵，我门半夜一直被吵醒，马桶也有问题，我要求换房间也说没有，体验超级差，但是价格那么贵，性价比糟糕透顶

Le personnel Un grand merci au monsieur de la sécurité qui s’est occupé d’un inséparable qui s’est noyé dans la piscine, la femme de ménage et la réception. .

La chambre: une visite minutieuse des équipements doit être faite car dans nos chambres plusieurs équipements ne marchaient pas: des portes, des étagères de douche, des équipements mal finis et rouillés dans la salle de bains. Par ailleurs le petit déjeuner: bien mais le dernier étage a été fermé sans qu’on sache pourquoi impliquant trop de pression sur l’étage 8. Par contre un peu plus de formation du personnel en charge du petit déjeuner sur des détails serait nécessaire. Ils sont très serviables mais manquent probablement de formation sur un standard 5 étoiles international. Je dis cela pour la compétitivité du tourisme au maroc par rapport à d’autres pays et pas pour dénigrer. Au prix s’attache un service avec une attention au détail plus accrue.

We stayed for two nights, and on both nights there was an extremely loud beeping noise outside our room in the hallway. It went on all night and all morning, stopping only for intervals of about 30 seconds. We reported it to reception, but nothing was done about it. It was extremely unpleasant.

L’emplacement est parfait, la chambre était super jolie et confortable. La terrasse était magnifique. Vu sur la mer 😍

Il manque un espace pour étendre ses vêtements ou serviettes de plage etc La piscine manque d’entretien, il faut prévoir un accès au personne à mobilité réduite car super compliqué avec une échelle cassée pour remonter.

The breakfast is fresh, various and generous and it caters for all tastes. The central location and easy access to the beach.

The rooms with sea view are unbelievably noisy even with the double-glazed windows until 04:00 am. I guess this is a common issue for all the big hotels facing the sea. Impossible to sleep at night if you have a room between the 2nd and the 5th floor.

I had a sea facing premier room and the reception gave me a Sea facing but on the first floor, which I was not comfortable with. The balcony was too low and I couldn't see anything so I had to go back to the reception and tell them I want a higher floor which they did give to me. So in the end it worked out.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Cash machine inside hotel. Large, spotless rooms. Huge excellent variety breakfast buffet, excellent dinner menu. Large dining and breakfast room has spectacular view overlooking the promenade and the water. Very long, spacious well designed promenade is across the street from the hotel. Enjoyable walk, but a bit long, to the Casbah and old town.

1.Il faudrait améliorer le check in. C'est assez confu et beaucoup de discussion pour être certain d'avoir sa chambre 2.Est il possible d'avoir des transats à la plage: elle est en face !!

We hadden een schone kamer. De badkamer is echt heel schoon mooi en ruim. Er is zowel een airco als ramen oftewel de balkondeur die open kan je bent echt heel centraal gelegen en zodra je de deur uitzet heb je al het strand en de boulevard.

We hadden wel in het begin dat iemand het hetzelfde pasje kreeg als onze kamer en dat ie onze kamer binnenliep. We zijn hiermee gelijk naar de receptie gegaan en die hebben het opgelost.
