Convenient location not too far from Centraal Station. Staff is magnificent, very attentive, friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast every morning.

Would have preferred a better view from our room. We were blocked from a nearby hotelboat that was also docked.

Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber, reichliches Frühstück und einmalige Lage im Zentrum von Amsterdam. Ich konnte gut schlafen. Was will man mehr! Klare Empfehlung!

Nietypowy nocleg na łodzi. Cały czas dostępna kawa, herbata, ciastka i owoce. Po wymeldowanie możliwość zostawienia bagaży. Bardzo miła obsługa i dobre śniadania z dużym wyborem.

W czasie pobytu, podczas nieobecności gości w pokoju, pokoje są sprzątane. Nie wpływa to na moją ocenę, lecz nie wszystkim może to pasować pod względem prywatności.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt auf dem Hausboot Iris – Absolute Empfehlung! Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit auf dem Hausboot Iris und haben unseren Aufenthalt in Amsterdam von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute sehr genossen. Die Betreiber sind außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend – man fühlt sich direkt herzlich willkommen. Die Zimmer sind überaus bequem, komfortabel und für ein Schiff überraschend geräumig. Ein absolutes Highlight ist das Frühstücksbuffet: Die Auswahl ist riesig und wirklich extrem lecker! Auch die Lage könnte nicht besser sein – absolut zentral gelegen, sodass man die Stadt wunderbar erkunden kann. Ein rundum perfektes Gesamterlebnis. Top und uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren ende Juli auf dem Boot. Die Lage ist super, es war wie eine ruhige Oase in mitten der Großstadt, mit einer tollen Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber uns hat es nicht gestört. Das Personal hat sich um alles liebevoll gekümmert und das Frühstück, was die Beiden gezaubert haben, war einfach klasse. Es war immer alles ordentlich und sauber. Vielen Dank, das wir so eine schöne Woche bei Euch verbringen durften.

Das Schiff liegt sehr zentral in einer prima Lage mit sehr schönem Blick auf die Stadt. Parkplätze direkt am Schiff gibt es keine, aber umliegend finden sich ausreichend Parkhäuser. Mark und sein Team haben uns einen super Aufenthalt beschert. Zum Frühstück gibt es eine große Auswahl, die auch täglich etwas variiert wird. Kaffeevariationen gibt es aus dem Vollautomaten. Ganztägig kann man sich Getränke (natürlich gegen Bezahlung) und kostenfreies Obst nehmen. Die 2-Bett Zimmer sind ausreichend groß mit eigener Toilette / Dusche.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Getränke waren preislich gut.

Das Zimmer ist winzig und es gab keinen Schrank.Wir haben wohl das schlechtes Zimmer bekommen. Ein Zimmer wo die Tür geöffnet war gab es auch einen Schrank.

Einfach ein Top- Erlebnis. Es kostet natürlich etwas mehr, aber man bucht dafür auch Qualität

Tout était au top !

The location was great. You can walk easily along the back from the station to get there in 5-10 minutes. The cabins were comfortable and with lots of storage that made up for the smaller space. The waste pressure was great in the bathroom. The best thing, though, was the breakfast. It was delicious with new things appearing each day and themed place mats for the day. There was a lounge area to sit in, and you could serve yourself drinks at cheaper rates than the bars and just leave an honesty slip to say what you had. Mark and Anna were super friendly and helpful. In summary, a fabulous stay!

La posizione: in centro vicinissimo al NEMO, alla stazione e al centro e allo stesso tempo lontano dal casino dei locali. Tramonto bellissimo in luglio! Accoglienza famigliare con il ‘capitano’ che ci ha spiegato il contesto e offerto una mappa e la signora super gentile entrambi si sono occupati delle nostre colazioni molto variegate per tutti i gusti e soprattutto croissant super buoni per chi come me ama colazioni all’italiana dolci.

L'ambiance cosy de la péniche, l'accueil et la gentillesse de l'hôte, la cabine fonctionnelle, la literie confortable.

L'insonorisation est difficile à bord d'une péniche mais il faisait bien calme la nuit.

Nous avons vaicu un séjour exceptionnel. Nos hôtes sont toujours à l'écoute, disponibles et sympathiques. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et varié, la cabine propre et bien équipée. L'emplacement parfait pour découvrir la ville.

Прекрасный и необычный вариант. Тихий район, но одновременно с этим легко добраться до центра и достопримечательностей. Чистота, гостеприимство на высшем уровне. Затрак - это отдельный восторг. Полное ощущение, что ты приехал погостить к семье или хорошим друзьям.

Die Lage 15 Minuter zu Fuß vom Bahnhof ist perfekt. Die Nähe zur Altstadt super und trotzdem bekommt man vom Trubel und Lärm der Stadt nichts mit. Das Frühstück so lecker mit viel Auswahl. Tee und Kaffee den ganzen Tag zur Verfügung. Ana und Marc sind sehr liebevolle Gastgeber.Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden wieder buchen.

Everything! Mark and his team gave us a great welcome and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The boat is immaculate! Everything was high quality, really clean, and the space was well thought out. Lots of storage space in our room, despite being on a boat. Sitting on the boat deck, or in the comfortable lounge,, drinking a beer, looking at all the activity on the water around us, was amazing. And yet only a short walk from the station. We really appreciated the free fruit, snacks and hot drinks available any time in the lounge. My wife and I really recommend Idris!

We really enjoyed our stay on hotelboat iris. Mark was incredibly welcoming and the rooms were impeccably clean. Breakfast was varied and fresh. The location was great, about 15 minutes walk into the centre.

The room did get quite very stuffy. There was also a lot of maintenance happening which I know can't be helped

Tutto é stato perfetto, dall’accoglienza di Mark alla favolosa colazione. Posizione comoda per raggiungere a piedi la stazione centrale e il centro di Amsterdam. La stanza aveva tutto il necessario. Esperienza bellissima a bordo.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was exceptional, an amazing variety of food to choose from and beautifully presented. It was a casual relaxed atmosphere.

The rain... totally out of their control! But we were supplied with umbrellas!

A quirky place to - centrally situated with great hosts.

Loved the location, the proximity to the city centre and the NEMO Science Museum. The hotel itself was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it felt very communal and welcoming.

The beds were a little slim but it’s to be expected as it’s a boat where space is limited. We had everything we needed and the rooms were fine.

Desayuno excelente, buena ubicación a 15 minutos andando del centro y de la estación central.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, facilities were great and also the city centre was in walking distance from the hotel boat.

The room was a little hot as the air con wasn't working 1100% and the bed was 2 singles used together, but they were comfortable.

A great location with easy access to the centraal station and metro system. Very peaceful setting. Fabulous breakfast! Mark and Anna were very welcoming. Yes, the room is small but we used the communal lounge so it was not a problem. The cabin and communal areas were spotlessly clean. Communication was quick and helpful.

I can't think of anything we didn't like

It’s a small cabin, not for conference calls or longer stays. But if you want something special, that is it!

A unique stay on the canal in a clean, comfortable room, plus I was upgraded. The staff are absolutely wonderful and the breakfast is the best I've had anywhere. Highly recommend. I'd stay again! Thank you Mark and Anna

This was the best little city break we’ve ever had, the accommodation was the cherry to the cake. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and they went the extra mile on Valentine’s Day. Thank you to the hosts for being so accommodating.

Tout était parfait. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. C'était une super expérience. L'emplacement est idéal, proche du centre et de la gare. Les chambres sont propres. C'était très calme. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel, avec beaucoup de choix salés et sucrés et surtout des produits frais. J'avais demandé du lait végétal et on m'a servi sans problème. Le personnel est très sympathique. Ils sont tous accueillants et bienveillants.

Lugar original y a sólo 15 minutos de la estación central, limpio, colchones cómodos y el personal súper amable.

La habitación resulta bastante pequeña y hay que tener en cuenta que dado el tipo de alojamiento, barco, se accede por una pasarela con barandilla de cuerda y se tienen que bajar escalera muy empinada para acceder a las habitaciones,. De todos modos lugar bastante agradable.

Super doświadczenie z mieszkaniem na wodzie (home boat), bardzo popularnym w Amsterdamie i Holandii. Czuliśmy się niemal jak w domu "u mamy", zaopiekowani od samego wejścia aż do wyjścia - bezproblemowy early check-in z propozycją śniadania, serdeczność przez cały pobyt, oraz propozycja kanapek na drogę przy wyjeździe, były przemiłe i mocno nieoczywiste - DZIĘKUJEMY!! Bar z deklarowanym samodzielnie spożyciem - WOW - oprócz tego, co już napisałem, czuliśmy jeszcze pełne zaufanie - DZIĘKI raz jeszcze!! PS. Śniadanie kozackie!

Ein Besonderen Lob für Frühstück. Sehr gute Auswahl, frisch vorbereitet, gut Aufgedeckt . Gute Hotellage, wir haben alles zu Fuß erreicht.Das Personal war Aufmerksamm, sehr freundlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Przede wszystkim wspaniali gospodarze łódki: miła, pomocna i bardzo kontaktowe Małżeństwo :). Poza tym bardzo dobra lokalizacja, tylko parę minut od dworca kolejowego a wrażenia z pobytu na łódce w środku Amsterdamu. Widoki wprost na wodę i pływające po zatoce łyski bezcenny. Pokoje bardzo czyste i codziennie sprzątane, smaczne śniadanie, duży salon, który można wykorzystać jako przestrzeń wspólną. Niepotrzebnie obawiałam się chłodu, bo pomimo grudniowej aury na łódce było po prostu gorąco. Polecamy!

El trato de Mark y Anna es espectacular. Sales de allí con dos nuevos amigos. El desayuno y la accesibilidad a cualquier necesidad es estupendo. Fuimos 4 parejas y todos estamos de acuerdo en lo bien que estuvimos.

Sugerencia para el dueño del barco: Mejorar los colchones de las camas dobles (un colchón en vez de dos) sería ya el culmen del éxito por su parte.

Mark and Anna were lovely, very helpful and also cooked a great breakfast. The location was great, if you are arriving by train and walking there don't go via google, there is a quicker way if you look closely, there's a foot bridge over the canal near the boat, head for that, it cuts the time in half.

Happy with everything, although if you are going for a romantic night, the beds are all single, I think and pushed together for a double. There's a bit of a gap in between, plus theres the overhead locker you might bang your head on, but hey, you are on a boat 😁
