Flying Pig Downtown

Nice breakfast centre locations smokin room

Great location. Helpful efficient staff. Storage for luggage on our departure travel day.

The price was the only thing that I didn't like

24 hour access Great vibes Lovely staff Smoking area for cannabis Nice location. Short walk from Amsterdam Central

The staff were friendly and the nightly events organised by them were great. Plenty of room to relax in the common area.

The bathroom in my first room was very dirty and the shower had little to zero pressure. So having a private bathroom was kinda pointless. My last night was spent in a 18 person dorm and the staff wouldn’t turn off the heater in the room even though it was roughly 28 degrees with no working AC but they supplied fans which mildly helped, but yes it was kind of uncomfortable 😣

The atmosphere felt like how hostels should be. Workers we lovely and helpful and got involved with the people staying

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

As instalações estão sempre limpas.

i had an amazing experience. as a solo traveller woman, i felt completely safe at the woman's only Room!! Very comfortable and clean!! location is amazing and hás great areas tô meet new people

everything was perfect

The bar was nice the be was comftorbale

It was sooo hot there is no air condition there. The rooms was dirty.

Location was really good

Not too comfortable or clean, luggage storage was really uncomfortable to access

Posizione e staff top.

Location & friendly people - met lots of others exploring Amsterdam. Felt secure and could use the lockers as well as left luggage on the last day. Room was fine with everything needed.

It can be a bit noisy but it's a party type place so...

Hostel vibe and staff

A localização é boa

The bar was nice and happy hour was really fun

The bathroom wasn’t so clean and was wet many times

Very close to the station, easy to get to any place. Very conveniently located. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I needed a lower bunk bed for medical reasons and the guy at the reception accommodated the request even though lower bunks weren't available at the time. Would definitely book again. The whole vibe of the place is fantastic.

The whole experience

- The beds were without curtains which may not be a big deal for some; however, I believe it's something simple that can be easily added for guest privacy. - Having only one toilet inside the room that was shared by 14 guests was a bit annoying.

Staff were great!

The atmosphere.

Todo

it was very sociable with good facilities. very friendly people and staff with fun activities in the evenings. the bar was well priced and we made good use of the happy hour. definitely would go again

the air con was lacking and the rooms were very hot. i would be sweating any time we entered the rooms and it made it a bit harder to sleep

Centralt i stan. Trevlig stämning med mycket folk. Billig öl och kaffe i baren. Bra frukost. Bra att kunna låsa in min stora ryggsäck under sängen.

I love the location and the facilities are well-maintained. Kudos to the entire team who keeps this hostel.

Chris was amazing

Flo on night shift was awesome

Very friendly staff and a lot of activities to help guests socialize.

There is a smoking room adjacent to the reception that is not completely closed off from the rest of the first floor, meaning that the smell from the smoke breaches the rest of the communal areas. Although quite expensive for a hostel, towels are not included in the price, and have to be "rented" separately.

Great location, friendly staff and vibes from all travelers and guests. Fun environment and quiet in the rooms.

Location

Very very small size of bathroom, problem of the door lock that doesn't work properly, small size of staircase, not like that many people were in very very small space

It was clean , staff were friendly air conditioning was perfect

Great environment, close to the trainstation

Smoking room

Installations too old and dirty

Great location, friendly social vibe.

No privacy curtain so light bothers all others in the room.

Obsługa jest kompetentna. Lokalizacja i najważniejsze dobra cena.

Buena onda, la gente hermosa siempre dispuesta a ayudar

Smoke room, people vibe

Dirty bathrooms, unclear rules and packed rooms with no system. Guy in room snored loudly like crazy

L'atmosfera

Fantastic location, great vibes in hostel, secure building, strong fans in dorms.

due to it being Amsterdam, the place smells mildly of weed, although they do have a dedicated smoking room. Twice in 2 days I found someone had puked in the bathroom. A bit loud as the whole place is a bar that closes at 3:00 pm but they offer complementary earplugs and if your dorm is far then no worries.

Bar area is nice

I got bed bugs from this place, very very disappointed.

🔥

The vibe’s

Clean

It’s really quirky and full of character. Great layout. Amazing kitchen. Everything

I liked everything.

Good location.

Not clean beds.

Tekrar gitsem tekrar kalmak isterim. Tüm çalışanlar çok ilgili. En sevdiğim kısmı aksamları yapılan aktivitelerdi. Aksam oyunlar oynandı ve herkes birbiriyle sohbet etti. Amsterdamda tanıştığım kişilerin çoğunluğu buradandı. Tekrar Amsterdam'a gidersem yeniden burada kalmak isterim. Ayrıca banyolar, tuvaletler gayet temizdi. Odalar rahattı.

Sevmediğim bir şey olmadı.

Good location, cheap price, body wash and shampoo provided

No curtains for the bed, no little shelves to leave personal items

Location and staff are amazing. No noise in the room.

My room had no air conditioning, only a ventilator that had to be on 24/7 to keep the conditions bearable.

Location is great, friendly staff, many people but remains quiet in the rooms

Air conditiom was very noisy. I was afraid not to be able to hear the alarm

The staff is really cool. Everything is perfect. I visited Amsterdam in the hot summer, and the place had AC. The toilet and bathroom were really clean and in perfect condition.

Nothing

Very clean AND TIDY

Perfect location, silent at night, nice common space, good breakfast and very clean. Great staff - helpful and supportive:)

Mine omtalescore kan nok forklares men PS

Kald og jævlig

Excellent location. Very complete services

When travelling with heavy luggage, a few stairs in the entrance and near the elevator can be uncomfortable.... The a/c and fan combination was useful during heatwave but not the best solution

AWFUL!!! This was our 3rd time staying at this hostel. This time, based upon our recommendation, nearly the entire rugby team stayed here. Because we had a group of 14, we requested the entire 14 person room be just for our team. Apparently, they really don't know how to accept a group reservation. After multiple emails and the expense of international phone calls, they told us all to book separately, and then charged us all additional money in order to change our reservation to put them all together in one room. Even with paying the extra money, we didn't all end up in the same room and we didn't get the entire room to ourselves. There were different strangers in our room every night. They refused to refund any of the extra money we paid. On top of that, the staff (especially manager Chris) was condescending, rude and downright nasty to all of us. They turned our key cards off multiple times, kept leaving us nasty notes reminding us that we were not in a private room (that we paid for) and every time we had a question or needed help with something, we were greeted with comments like "oh it's you all again." We will be filing a consumer complaint against this hostel and we will never be back. We really regret ever recommending this place to anyone.

Location is excellent, 5 minute walk from Centraal Station, close to trams and walkable to many of the main attractions. The staff were helpful and there is a very social bar downstairs. Room and bathroom were clean. I booked a 6 bedroom female dorm. Several improvements could be made. Comparably priced hostels have better facilities. Firstly make it a 4 bed dorm, and put in upright lockers. We were crammed in and whenever anyone pulled out their underbed locker it made it impossible to move around the room. People left them pulled out overnight, making a huge hazard if there’d been a fire. Curtains around the beds would have made a big difference to privacy. Finally the dodgy air conditioning was inadequate, and noisy, though that acted a bit like white noise to block out the street noises!

The atmosphere was lively and rooms were kept clean enough. Breakfast was good for the price, staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

The room could get very hot and the bathroom could really have used a rubber mat or something to dry the floor with, since it was always wet. It could also be quite noisy since the walls weren’t very soundproof.

Great location, very short walk from the station. The room was way quieter than expected and nobody bothered each other. Outside of the room the atmosphere was great, very friendly staff. Everything was constantly being cleaned too.

The beds were quite low. My friend and I had the bottom bed so getting in and out was a little uncomfortable, but otherwise no notes.

it was clean and could check in very late in night which saved me bc of troubles on my trip.
