O hotel fica muito bem localizado para quem quer visitar os templos e a zona arqueológica. Alguns templos estão a uma curta caminhada a pé. Quarto muito espaçoso, com varanda e vista muito bonita. Funcionários muito simpáticos, eficientes e prestáveis.

Great room with a nice balcony with a nice view. The staff was great and helpful - They served us dinner on the rooftop and it was delicious. The server was efficient and kind.

We were supposed to stay a second night there but we were told that there was an issue with our reservation and that we had to find another hotel for the second night.

Habitación buena, limpia, cama cómoda. No pude probar el desayuno ya que tenía safari. La cena bufet poca variedad, pero bueno.

Estaba al lado de obras. Tampoco pude disfrutar del hotel mucho.

The hotel is close to all the sacred places in Anuradhapura. Staff is so friendly and they were so eager to attend to all our needs. The room we booked was spacious and clean. All the necessary things were included such as the tea/coffee making station, Cloth ironing table with electric iron, Hair dryer etc... The bathroom was also spacious and equipped with everything. Balcony area was also peaceful. We had a Srilankan breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. Overall it was a peaceful stay.

We had a pretty good stay overall. The staff were nice and helpful, and the room was clean and comfy. The location was great—close to food spots and the pooja nagaraya . Food was decent too. Good value for the price, and we’d stay here again.

However, I did notice a slight odor in the bathroom, and there was no hot water during my visit. I’m sure these are things that can be improved, and I appreciate the overall hospitality.✨️

Great views from the balcony of jungle, lots of birdlife Very big airy room. Staff were delightful and met us with flannels and cold drink every time we came back to the hotel. Good bathroom and toiletries.

No safety deposit box; this was our second stop and most hotels didn't (or if they did it wasn't bolted down) but there was CCTV in the common areas and good locks on the doors. (Sri Lanka was much safer than our initial stay in Colombo lead us to believe !) Building work next door started 7am and was a bit noisy from the balcony. Bit of a walk to anywhere you might want to go.

Location is good just for a short stay as hotel doesn’t have big garden or pool and close to hotel there’s nothing to do. For short stay rice fields seen from the balconies look really good and chilling. Rooms quite good established and quite big and comfortable to stay in. Personnel are very helpful. What we didn’t liked - selection of food seemed a bit limited and somehow takes a long time to prepare it. Restaurant on top is quite worn off and really not pleasant place to have a food. Sheets and towels seemed worn off too.

We recently stayed at Manthila Hotel in Anuradhapura and had a delightful experience. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms featuring large balconies and bathrooms equipped with hot water. Upon arrival, the receptionist warmly welcomed us with a refreshing juice, setting a friendly tone for our stay. The hotel's location is quite convenient. The city center, complete with a shopping center and various shops, is only about a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away. We also visited the sacred city of Anuradhapura, which was a 15-minute ride from the hotel. Breakfast and dinner is served at the 4th floor on the rooftop.We ordered Sri lankan breakfast that were tasty but quite slipy for us . There was some ambient noise from nearby construction activity, which we didn't mind as they stopped with working at 6pm.. Overall, the rooms were as nice and clean as shown in the pictures. I would definitely choose to stay at Manthila Hotel again on my next visit.

Bats flying around in the rooftop terrace where dinner was served but we did not mind. Food is a bit too spicy but I mentioned at reception to prepare us no spicy food but I would also inform the staff at the rooftop just in case.

The rooms were very spacious. The views were great. It is a great hotel. Walking distance to the main attractions. The food was delicious! They were very accommodating of our food needs. The head chef especially was very nice. We had to leave very early and they got up around 5 am and packed us breakfast. The staff in general were great. They went out of the way to help us. The two ladies especially so wonderful. There was an error in the booking we made and they went out of their way to correct it. They didn’t have to. I can’t say enough good things about them. We had a great time.

Nice hotel with spacious clean rooms and great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great and calm view from the rooms. Hotel is building a new section with a rooftop pool. Good spread of tasty food.

Rooms were not sound proof and there was noise from the corridors. Washrooms require a deep clean.

The hotel is relatively new and the interiors are done well. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Staff is very cooperative and provided what we requested for. Over all a very good stay

Staff was very helpful, food was tasty, room facilities except some bathroom issues. Room was nice and comfy with balcony and good view into forest

The water was not getting hot/warm, no dish to put soap on, no spare toilet paper, shower part needs some deep cleaning. Dining hall is dark in the evening, not enough lighting

Large room, comfortable bed, new and good smelling linen and towels, free of mosquitos and insects, ample hot water, no outside noise, no monkeys around the property, great location closer to historical sites, staff attitude was very good, the two girls at the reception were very sweet.

The hand shower in the bathroom didn't work. The in-room kettle was not working properly.

The staff were very friendly and nice. Room was clean and nice. They had a very good buffet for dinner and breakfast. All in all everyone enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Very close to most of the attractions in Anuradhapura.

It was bit hard to find at night as the GPS location lead us to a wrong place. There is a sign on the road, you have to watch out for that. The lift was stuffy and humid, opted to use the stairs instead. No other apperent dislikes about our stay at this hotel.

At least in our bathroom, the door didn't close. Made a mess while taking the shower. The soap given is SOOOO small. Cannot even grab it. I recommend saving money somewhere else.

Breakfast was Excellent Sri Lankan Taste and Style. Location was good within close proximity to Sacred Sites. Room and Bathroom was quite roomy and spacious. Room furniture, Balcony and furniture were very good. The service received to prepare Milk Rice offering to Sacred place early in the morning was commendable. Front desk staff and other staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful.

Parking space was compact had a limitation but acceptable.

My wife was severely sick and we had to cancel our plans and go back to Colombo for medication. I have discussed with the Hotel (property) for an early checkout and they were fine considering our situation. However, since I have booked this through Booking.com, need your pre-approval for early checkout. I have sent an email regarding this matter to you and also uploaded a request thorugh your web-link, but, didn't get any response. Since I have used the facility only for one day, I request to refund 2nd day charge.

Food was great, especially the local dishes. Beds were super comfy and the room was of a good size. The staff was very friendly and always catered to our requests.

The shampoo was of low quality and there was no body wash or conditioner.

Lovely clean hotel for an overnight stay. Big, big room with lovely balcony. The staff were super. Food was good and plentiful.

Bit out of town but transport is easy to come by.
