Reviewed Aug 29, 2026All excellent @ 500b p/n. Beds of separate rooms don't share a wall which is important for my Generalise Anxiety Disorder. Air Conditioning was excellent in room. There is a cheaper Hostel across the road too ! I stayed 15 days and could re-new room at the desk with cash. Thanks to Booking.com for an excellent site. DIY 7-11's close by and international class shopping mall I visited had best money exchange desk, Mixue, Kroton massage chairs that accepted notes, fair priced food and a DIY, air conditioned.
No kettle in room. Kettles draw 1200 watts and you'd probably spill the drink on their mattress anyway.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Bancha is a great host. Warm, welcoming, and always available in person or via WhatsApp to help. We booked a private driver through Bancha for a half day tour of Chiang Rai’s famous temples and we had a nice, patient driver and had a great time. The room we had was very spacious and clean, if a little basic, but we felt it was very good value for money. There’s free coffee in the pot at reception in the morning. Short walk to the centre of town too.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026Sehr freundliches Personal, es gab einen Googlemapslink mit den grössten Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie einigen Geheimtipps. Top Preis-Leistung, mann bekommt genau das wofür man bezahlt.
Das Bett war zimlich Hart und der Kühlschrank funktioniert nur wenn die Zimmerkarte steckte, abr DIY nimm einfach den Zimmerschlüssel ab und lass die Karte stecken. Extrem ringhörig.

Todo es perfecto. Aseo todos los días. Cambian sábanas, cobijas, toallas. Hasta lavan las paredes del baño. Definitivamente es como un hotel 5 estrellas pero sin lujos.

Property and area felt safe and secure. Room itself is a budget option so you get what you pay for in terms of comfort, room itself is of a big size

Bancho was so friendly and helpful and gave us lots of recommendations, and booked the Laos sloe boat for us. Definitely a great stay for backpackers and highly recommend!

If you are a sensitive sleeper, request to have your room not facing the main road.

Reviewed Jan 23, 2026Pokój jest przestronny, posiada lodówkę, lustro, duży stół. Właściciel jest bardzo otwarty, miły i pomocny. Polecił miejsca ze sprawdzonym jedzeniem oraz lokalnymi miejscami wartymi odwidzenia. Udostępnił również suszarkę do włosów. Lokalizacja obiektu jest dobra. :)
Woda pod prysznicem nie zawsze jest ciepła o poranku.

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026Le gérant de l’hôtel est très serviable ; il nous a beaucoup aidé dans l’organisation de notre séhour à Chiang Raï. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Le ménage est fait tous les jours. L’hôtel n’est pas dans l’hyper centre, ce qui permet d’être au calme la nuit. Sa situatioon géographique permet néanmoins d’accéder à pieds en 15/20 minutes max aux endroits intéressants (clock tower, night bazaar, temple rouge, etc.) Si je reviens à Chiang Rai, je réserverai à nouveau dans cet hôtel !

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026L’hôtel est super bien placé, on est vraiment pas loin du centre ville (la Clock Tower) donc c’est ultra pratique. L’accueil du propriétaire de l’hôtel est excellente. Il est ultra serviable et d’une gentillesse!
Bon le propriétaire m’avait prévenu mais il y a une école à côté de l’hôtel. Tout les matins (en semaine) il y a un rituel donc ils diffusent des chansons et parlent dans un micro et c’est diffusé sur des hauts parleurs. Donc c’est très surprenant, si jamais vous êtes sensible aux bruits.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026I recently stayed at this Hotel hoping for a comfortable experience given the premium price point, but unfortunately, the reality did not match the cost. While the location was one good thing, and the staff were generally polite and helpful the overall value for money was disappointing.
When I pay this amount for a hotel in Changrai, I expect a certain level of comfort. This felt more like a very budget stay with a luxury price tag. I would not recommend staying here until they either lower their rates or significantly upgrade their facilities.

The owner gave us a lot of info including a google maps link with everything to do in Chiang Rai, from temples to great massage and coffee places. He also helped us a lot for our plan to cross the Thai Lao border and enabled us to very easily rent a scooter directly at the hotel. Amazing dedication to the clients and very warm welcome. Thanks to all the team !

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026This rooms in this hotel are quite basic but very well lit and pleasant to stay in. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood, though very busy, quieted down at night. Staff also delivered bottled water to our room daily, and there was a refrigerator to keep it cold. We liked the fact that the hotel was away from the heavily touristed area. And the owner offered lots of suggestions on what to see and where to eat.
The hotel is located between two schools -- a primary school and a kindergarten. Although some reviewers complained that as a result the place is too noisy, we enjoyed watching the kids do their exercises in the morning. And they didn't begin until about 7:30, so it wasn't that early.
