Very peaceful- newer room overlooking the pool are beautiful very friendly polite professional staff nothing was too much trouble gorgeous gardens

Whilst it is very peaceful and we loved the quiet it is a 25 minute walk into central Ubud or Grab bike - the quiet was worth the walk as are the beautiful staff here

Das pessoas, é muito familiar.

Our stay at the hotel was perfect. We were amazed by the pool and the atmosphere. It feels like a beautiful combination of the jungle and a temple! Everything was clean, the staff was kind, and the breakfast was delicious.

Basically, everything was perfect, straight out of a postcard of Bali. Staff was really pleasant and happy to provide us with any requests we've had. The apartment looks exactly from the photos. It's really comfortable. It's clean and spacious. The breakfast was more than enough. It included fresh juices, coffee and a meal from the menu - banana pancakes were our favorite. The pool has also a shower next to it. It felt not crowded at all, even if we visited during the peak season. We'll definitely come back!

During the time of our visit, there were some mild noises coming from the construction sites in the nearby. But we barely notice that.

There were a lot of bugs, ants and mosquitoes. I got bitten despite the mosquitoe net always being closed and never leaving the doors open, lots of little mites in the bathroom, as there was a gap between the walls and the roof! Can be noisey as it’s in the jungle area We got woken up by what we think was a tokay gecko but unsure wether it was inside or outside the building

早餐非常棒!工作人員超級親切，泳池也很好，可以直接看樹林，我很後悔只住兩晚，這間客人不多，如果想安安靜靜休息的很推薦! 但離鬧區也比較遠，附近的餐廳也不多，不過有Grab一切都沒問題! 飯店在一個似乎是民宅的後面，不用懷疑自己走錯路，往裡面走就對啦!

晚上屋頂似乎有小老鼠?但沒看到本尊就是了

We loved staying at Gandatera. The place is beautiful in a quiet area of Ubud, inside of a family temple and with the pool close to the forest. The staff was super nice and happy to answer our questions and help us with requests. We rent with them the motorbike which was perfect. We really enjoyed also the breakfast.

Nothing in particular, just small improvements such as there was not side bed tables.

We absolutely loved our stay! The entrance to the property is so unique—it feels like you’re walking into a beautiful temple. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms were very comfortable, but our favorite part was the breakfast and pool area, which is absolutely stunning and creates such a peaceful atmosphere. They also offer scooter rentals on site, which makes exploring Ubud very convenient. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We loved that it was in the jungle and the scenery was beautiful. Staff were absolutely amazing couldn’t fault them at all. Good selection at breakfast on the menu. Staff were always more than happy to help.

If we had to say a negative it would just be the flys in the shower however it is hard to get rid as staying in jungle.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help whenever needed. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and everything was very well maintained. The breakfast was good and balanced; although a little more variety would make it even better, it was still enjoyable and sufficient. Overall, staying here was a very pleasant experience, and we truly enjoyed our time at the hotel. Thank you to the entire team for their hospitality

El hotel está alejado del centro, a 10’ en coche pero su entorno es precioso. Es un templo todo el hotel, la habitación muy bien.

No tiene restaurante.

Precioso hotel, rodeado de selva y a diez minutos del centro. No puedo imaginar más amabilidad y buena onda que el del personal del Gandatera! La habitación muy cómoda, moderna y limpia. Muy bien desayuno con vista a la jungla (y algún minuto de tanto en tanto). Muy recomendable!

Le personnel était très accueillant et gentil. la chambre est toujours très propre le personnel viens la nettoyer tout les jours. il y a une très belle vue depuis la piscine et l'endroit pour prendre le petit déjeuner.

Calm and central with a nice pool and super friendly staff.

To get there you need to go through a road with pretty wild curves. Grab won’t even let you call a bike after 9 pm or something, just something to consider.

We are very happy that we chose this place for our stay. The room was spacious and clean, with a terrace and a view of the pool. The pool water was a bit cold, but it was a perfect refreshment in the morning or after a hot day of traveling. The location is not really meant for walking around, but it is very convenient for getting around since you do not need to drive through the city center, where the traffic is unbelievably heavy. Even in the evenings, we used Grab to get to the center, which was very inexpensive and saved us from worrying about traffic or parking a scooter.

Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hat sich sehr bemüht, Anlage und Zimmer sehr gepflegt

Für mich persönlich war es zu weit weg vom Zentrum. Es gab keine Restaurants und Cafés in Lauf Nähe. Man muss sich halt immer einen Scooter bestellen, aber das geht dann auch ganz schnell mit Grab. Der Dschungel war mir manchmal zu laut.

Ruhige und gepflegte Anlage mitten im grün. Schöner Pool und gute Lage etwas außerhalb von Ubud. Sauberkeit geht in Ordnung. Das Hotel punktet mit der Preis/Leistung. Finde die 9+ Bewertung ehrlich gesagt aber dennoch etwas "hoch gegriffen"

Zustand der Zimmer nicht unbedingt den Bildern entsprechend. (zumindest unseres) Das Badezimmer hatte abgeplatzte Fließen und Ameisen auf dem Waschtisch.

Mooi hotel gelegen in de natuur. Personeel is erg vriendelijk! Prima ontbijt. Het warm water stopt na een tijdje douchen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Sehr gutes Frühstück und ein bequemes Bett. Der Pool war sehr schön mit Blick ins Grüne.

The staff is so lovely and the facilities are well maintained with beautiful gardens. Really appreciated the daily water bottles and good air conditioning.

Bathroom drainage can be better. Hot water was limited in the shower.

We loved our stay at Gandatera! Great middle ground location close to both Ubud Centre and the Rice Fields. A generous breakfast each morning and a beautiful pool overlooking the jungle. The staff and families that live within Gandatera were so incredibly polite and friendly. Highly recommend for an affordable stay in Ubud!

The place is really nice! Good environment, lots of green. Staff is really nice, and an infinitypool looking towards the lush greens. The rooms are nice with a small desk to work on if needed. Bathrooms are also fine. Pretty nice place to stay.

Wifi is decent. Did have some issues with videocalls, mostly when more people where there. If you need to do lots of calls, maybe not the most reliable place. Its a bit outside of ubud, not possible to walk to the restaurants etc.
