The fact that its inside marloth park with animals roaming freely. We also loved the privacy and the assistance and response from security...its was spot on.
The outside chill area was a bit dusty but that was due to windy weather on the day.
The peace and quite, the beautiful scenery and a host who is always willing to answer to assist
The fact that animals barely comes to house,.
Private, peaceful and quiet. Beautifully furnished and decorated.
There are no cupboards in the rooms, which would make longer stays more convenient. Laundry facilities would also be nice.
The house is very spacious Host was ready available at times Pool was clean Security is good
No iron available No ready available wood for fire Limited kitchen stuff
I love the Hospitality we got from Rihanda, The house is fully equipped and furnished with everything that a guest will need. ♥️
Everything was fine
We loved everything about the place, the animals were frequently paying us a visit. Rihanda was a great host, she gave us all the info we needed to know about ibhubesi house. The self check-in was very convenient. The house is very secure, we enjoyed the ncaah pool!!!!!
Grote locatie. Complimenten daarvoor! Keuken redelijk compleet.
It is quiet and peaceful. It was lovely seeing all the animals around.. including the monkeys lol. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean.
The only thing I didn’t like was the road leading to the house, for a small car it’s was hard navigating through it.
Beautiful place, stunning private location. Very modern. Overall great stay. Host is wonderful.
Could do with better basic kitchen supplies. And better quality bedding.

The washed out road from flooding, leading to the property
Loved the accomodation. Loved the fact that we had wifi. The host was easy to get ahold of and answered all our questions. We had a lot of animals come to visit which was the whole point of our stay. Would love another opportunity to come back again. Thank you soooo much
Watch out for the baboons. We left the bathroom window open by mistake and got a hoard of baboons come in to raid the kitchen. Be careful with closing all doors and windows.
Maison Tres sympathique
Unforgettable Safari Living at Ibhubesi House, Marloth Park Our recent stay at Ibhubesi House in Marloth Park was nothing short of magical—an experience that far exceeded our expectations and left us with memories to cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, the charm and tranquillity of Ibhubesi House swept us away. The African bush was just outside our door, and each day was filled with incredible wildlife encounters. We were lucky enough to feed impala, zebra, kudu, and a variety of other animals right next to the swimming pool! Watching these beautiful creatures graze and wander freely while we relaxed in our private outdoor space was both humbling and exhilarating. Another highlight was the amazing outdoor patio and BBQ area. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventure, enjoy some classic South African braai, and soak up the stunning views and fresh bush air. We made great use of this area, sharing laughs and good food as the sun set over the park. The house itself was comfortable, spacious, and superbly equipped—ideal for total relaxation. But the real showstopper came in the evenings, as the sky transformed into a canvas of vivid oranges, pinks, and purples. Marloth Park’s sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, silhouetting the bushveld and its roaming wildlife. Each sunset felt like a personal show—one I’ll never forget. If you’re seeking the ultimate South African bush retreat, Ibhubesi House is the spot. It’s the perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and nature at its finest. I can’t recommend it more highly for anyone who wants a unique, up-close wildlife experience and a chance to relax in one of the most beautiful corners of the world.
The only downside was that I wished I could've stayed longer and shared the experience with more family members.
The host are great and friendly , the setting and rooms were great. Braai area was awesome, Pool was well maintained and the animal feeding through by the window 10/10.
A hidden TV behind the awesome lion photo would be nice , but overall nothing bad to say about this stay.
Modern, sehr sauber, absolut ruhig
Zufahrt schwierig
We liked that the place was very private and peaceful. Most essentials were available and at our disposal.
There was a time of no power, and back up solar ran out. With no awareness it was a bit difficult to adapt but Rihanda was very accountable and we appreciate that. The chargeable lights were however not charged so that was inconvenient.
Perfect vacation home👌
Nothing
location and Nature
the shower drainage system isnt working. when you shower it floods and water ends up flooding to other rooms. also the window needs curtains. i enjoy my privacy more than anything. especially in the living area
Great location, very private. Cute pool, overall clean house. Lots of wild animals can be seen from all over the facility (we saw Deer, Zebras, Giraffes, Spring Boks, Warthogs, and plenty more without a safari drive. The host was very sweet, great communicator.
The shower had pink mould and the overhead needs to be descaled, there is white buildup so I had to wear my slippers when showering.
No tv
Wonderful location, layout of house made it wonderful. Pool was great for a swim, large rooms, open kitchen was great. Animals visiting was breathtaking!
I cannot fault anything.
The quietness and privacy is unmatched
Nothing but a TV will bonus since I love football 🙈
The house is sooo clean and open. At one point the alarm went off by mistake and to my surprise the security response is quick.
The road to the house is not friendly to small car.
Lovely location
Very poor sign posting for the house. Impossible to see at night. Problem with baboons, who opened a locked window, and almost came into the house.
The views, the peace, the animals visits. Everything was just amazing
Would only recommend for the towels to be washed more thoroughly otherwise no complaints
Helemaal niks
Beautiful attention to detail. The kitchen was nicely stocked. Ibhubesi was set up nicely for privacy so that we could sit outside, use the boma, or the pool with no one else around. It felt like a sanctuary away from the world.
QUITE GOOD PLACE THE ENVIRONMENT
No tv you have to put TV please
Everything
The bedroom doors And clothes in the wardrobe
Perfect location to safari to Kruger, inside marloth park we have seen many animals (impala, kudu, warthog, zebras and baboons) some of them came also near the house: magic moments! The supermarket is near. The house was really well cleaned, all we need to cook was there. The pool was perfect we enjoyed after the safari. We had beautiful moments there!
It was beautiful, calm and quiet! The location was spectacular and the host was absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond for us and made the experience that much better.
Nothing. We had bugs however we are in the bush and that is to be expected.
The place is beautiful. The set up is stunning as well however the place especially the kitchen is infested with cockroaches. There are cockroaches day in and day out.
Loves the fact we’d have animals visiting us in our villa
Some of the bedsheets were not changed 🙇🏾♀️
Beautiful Home and Very Well Kept and With all the cutlery and crockery you'd ever need, clean fresh linen and a sparkling pool
Nothing
Prompt SMS communication with Rihanda which assisted with the key lock as well as how to get into the house. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. All bedrooms go out to the private pool. The decor was superb. We had a great relaxing, comfortable stay.
Loved everything about the property. Very good for when you want to get away from the city. Loved the games and cards that were provided.
Nothing
They didn't give us what they showed. We were sent to another guest house due to the lack of facilities. It was not worth what we paid .
Loved everything about this house, especially the air-conditioned rooms? Perfect. Our host Rihanda? What an amazing lady! Literally everyone should make her their hosts lol. Love her and can't wait to come back.
Excellent
Place
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Ibhubesi House in Marloth Park at the end of July/beginning of August 2024 to celebrate my birthday, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The villa is absolutely stunning, just as shown in the photographs. It provided us with the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. One of the highlights was the frequent visits from small antelope right outside the villa, adding to the magical atmosphere. In the evenings, we were delighted by the appearance of Bush Babies - don't forget to bring bananas for them! The Caretaker was fantastic - friendly, attentive and always ready to assist with anything we needed.
I did make the mistake of arriving in a very low sedan, which made navigating the dirt roads and driveway a bit challenging. However, this was entirely my own fault. I would recommend using a high vehicle, SUV or 4x4 for easier access.
The property could at least get a tv
The view outside and inside is a very peaceful place and Rihanna is always friendly and welcoming ☺️
There was no iron
Location was perfect, we were central to most. Short drive or walk to look over the river, the shops and the Crocodile bridge gate. Our view of the bush was impeccable.
There could be more storage in the room for longer stays. But other than that there is nothing to complain about. Brand new and everything you could want or need.
We loved everything about the place , it's was top notch! And many thanks to Rihanda for an exceptional service.
Everything, heaven on Earth❤️I highly recommend it. Peace beyond
Peaceful and beautiful
cleaness
Most of everything
Fidge didnt make anything cold Baboons
Nice stoep, reading nook. Cute swimming pool.
Main bedroom shower not draining. Outside bath not usable, no plug etc. No dishing up spoons, casserole etc. Swimming pool cover. No closets in rooms. No correspondence before arrival from owners.
- design, decor and finishes of the house - the board games - good wifi - wildlife - proximity komatipoort
- showers were lukewarm - kitchen utensils for cooking nor available or limited - slippery shower in the main bedroom - main shower a tad uncomfortable, you can see into it from outside
Location
I loved everything about this beautiful spacious home.
The breakage deposit
Everything from the location to the inside of the house it was too beautifully
Nothing at all I’d be lying if I said anything our host Rihanda was too kind , a place to be for a weekend away
Beautiful property! Loved everything about this place.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful stay
There were massive cockroaches in the main bedroom. The bathroom windows were too revealing making it quite uncomfortable for a family.
The features of the house are so amazing & the stuff is so nice!
The place is beautiful and the animals that came to visit were always welcome. I didn’t get a chance to meet our host but it was easy for us to get access to the house. My family said she was very kind and that she lived nearby if we needed anything.
No air-con in the dining room but just the fan which doesn’t do justice, especially when you are in the kitchen. The backup didn’t go on after load shedding and the stove doesn’t work (not just the oven) during the sheds. The shower outside isn’t practical - the head needs to be replaced, not a single full body mirror in sight. We weren’t able to receive assistance from our host the first night during load shedding, no ESP schedule was shared the first night until it was requested the next morning. Smaller kitchen towels are recommended. Only one black plastic provided.
It was a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing place, the pictures didn’t do it justice.
Just the air conditioning was a little hot in the other rooms except the twin beds but otherwise very happy with the place.
Position in Marloth is perfect (on the edge), it was not my first visit to the area. You can see some animals which are not so often present in other places. The house is simple, but modern, elegant with great swimming pool, also there is second separate bathroom so you don´t need to bother your mate in main bedroom which is having attached another one ;-) No load shedding, solar power backup is already running! No TV, great!!!!! Please never ever install TV or any other nuisance :-)
Beautiful home
