Reviewed Sep 11, 2026We had a fantastic stay at Vandiris. Roberto was incredibly accomodating in getting us settled and making sure we didn’t need anything. The location is perfect, with the best view in Manarola. It is a very quiet location, being positioned above the town.

The location was great, and the terrace was truly breathtaking. Roberto managed to create a genuine seaside home atmosphere, while still providing everything you would expect from a well-run accommodation. Roberto is a very thoughtful and helpful host. He has a wonderful way of balancing professionalism with genuine warmth, which made us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s family home.

Gave us some places of interest, information about ferries, what to look out for etc. Location was superb, overlooked the sea and at the highest point. Fantastic views. Room was quite sizeable, plenty of space and had all the necessities.
No television but it wasn’t a problem. We were out most of the day and late at night. The walk from station to accommodation is steep but well worth the effort but then are most of the accommodation in this area.

The room felt new and there was air con. Roberto was very attentive and charming and was available over Whatsapp for our needs and recommendations. Would love to stay again

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Our lovely host, Roberto, met us not far from the train and suggested places to eat and shop in Manarola, then proceeded to help us with our bags up the hill (no steps!) to the beautiful apartment with spacious balcony overlooking the sea! Perfect! The apartment had air conditioning (which we didn't need) and a ceiling fan - rare find!
There were no kitchen facilities other than a fridge, but some plates and cutlery would be handy, along with a tea towel and detergent. Roberto did ask if we needed plates and cutlery, which he graciously provided so we could enjoy a cheese platter on the balcony to watch the sunset.

Sin duda, lo mejor fueron las impresionantes vistas al mar, que hicieron la experiencia aún más especial. Además, el propietario fue muy amable y servicial, ofreciéndonos numerosas recomendaciones sobre la zona, restaurantes y lugares que visitar. Una opción muy recomendable para disfrutar de Cinque Terre.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026One of the best views on Cinque Terre. It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony, hear the waves, and watch the sunset. Given that everything is uphill from the train station, the 5min walk was preferable.
The bed and pillow were not the most comfortable, but given the location it may be hard to have more comfortable mattresses delivered. The addition of a mattress topper would be great. There were also crumbs and a few ants on the balcony when we arrived.

Without a doubt, this property has some of the best views of Manarola and surroundings. We could easily explore the local area then return to our calm retreat. Pas très facile à trouver . Attention il faut bien suivre les instructions et la vidéo (sans marches) envoyée par le propriétaire, sinon en suivant google map on doit gravir un immense escalier. Dommage qu on ne dispose pas de quoi faire au moins un léger repas dans la chambre avec terrasse ( pas d assiettes, ni de verres, ni de micro onde)

Escaleras estrechas, pero hay ruta un poco más larga y lisa. Se llega en 5 minutos al mirador. Muy linda experiencia, cuando vuela a visitar Italia me quedaría más días con gusto.

Reviewed May 19, 2026The host Roberto is absolutely wonderful, he was very kind, helpful, and informative of the local area. We had a room with no balcony but a spectacular sea view, the property is in a perfect spot with the best views in town, while still only being a few minutes walk from the town centre and train station. It is near the cliff edge so from the street outside (or the balcony room) you can see stunning sea views and watching the sunset was one of the highlights of our trip. If the balcony room is available I'd highly recommend grabbing that one to be able to watch from your room! The room itself was comfortable and clean, it is up a narrow but short flight of stairs, and had a mini fridge and kettle to use with some teas available. The bathroom is a little old but still clean and there were basic toiletries available for use.
A very very minor point was the 'bing bong' noises of announcements from the train station carry across the bay surprisingly well, which can be a little annoying, but they don't go past 11pm at night and once the window is closed they are easy to ignore. Roberto also has earplugs available to use, but we didn't find them necessary.

Notre hôte nous a super bien accueilli et même conseillé sur les parcours a faire, à visiter, et tout en faisant l’effort de parler français. Très chouette! La chambre est grande et nous avions tout à disposition pour pouvoir faire notre propre petit déjeuner.
Petit bémol : les volets ne sont pas occultants et la lumière passe dès le lever du jour.
