Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Sherika and her staff were friendly, kind and very helpful iduring my stay in sorting, repairing and packing up my stuff after a long stay in Sri Lanka. They helped me find the essential things that I needed like local shops, a dry cleaner, and tailor. The upstairs property is good with a fly screen door on the balcony, air conditioning, hot water, dead bolts on the doors and windows (which are unfortunately often required in countries like Sri Lanka). The location is close to Negombo town but quite far from Negombo beach. Since Sri Lankans main transport app has started upgrading its fleet of smelly Tuk Tuks to Suzuki Swift cars that are about 50% wider and still fit down most laneways, you can just take a PickMe instead of walking along the dirty smelly roads of Negombo. The tourist areas near the beach have clean roads. The roads immediately near Sherika's Serindip villa are also clean. But parts of Negombo town have open drains.

The shower did nor work. The Tuktuk drivers could not find the place as there is also Serendib Villiage in town.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2025wygodny i czysty apartament z aneksem kuchennym, kawą, herbatą, dużą łazienką, mili i zaangażowani gospodarze, z dzieciakami podającymi sok na powitanie :) pyszne śniadanie lankijskie podane w na tarasie wśród zieleni przewyższyło nasze oczekiwania, przez kolejne 3 tygodnie na Sri lance nie jedliśmy nigdzie tak bogatego, bardzo polecam to miejsce na noc po przylocie lub przed odlotem
jedyny minus to strome schody do apartamentu co może być utrudnieniem przy dużych walizkach

Extra pillows made sleeping very comfortable. Very clean and had everything we wanted in the room. Run by a lovely family who are very helpful and attentive. Ohh the breakfast was amazing (beyond exceptional 😀). We initially booked one night and ended up staying 3 very pleasant nights.
