The villa is great. Very nice, everything is just clean. Dulshan and his wife are the kindest people. The breakfast was a mix of Sri Lankan and English, very good as well.

I can’t see anything. Maybe we should’ve stayed longer to explore further than Negombo by car or bus.

È l’unica struttura in Sri Lanka in cui abbiamo trovato standard di pulizia e arredamento delle stanze equiparabili a ottime strutture europee. Piscina e giardino sono molto carini e ben tenuti, colazione abbondante, varia e molto buona.

La hospitalidad de los dueños del alojamiento. Se preocupan por ti, priorizan espacio y tiempo para tu descanso y te hacen sentirte cómodo en todo momento. El apartamento es muy guapo, con una cama enorme y una gran limpieza.

Villa Dominikku is a place to feel home. The rooms are spacious, spotless clean, beautifully designed and furnished. The hosts are extremely friendly and hospitale and always are happy to let you feel as comfortable as possible. I would always come back to this place.

We arrived early in the morning, dulshan & Dilu (the owner) already arranged the airport pick up for us in advance, so everything went smoothly. They welcomed us so warmly at 4:00am! We can recommend the place for 10000%!! They also gave us so much tips about negombo and what to do and helped us with everything! what a good start our holiday! Thanks to you Dulshan & Dilu

Nos alojamos en Villa Dominikku tanto al principio como al final de nuestro viaje por Sri Lanka y repetiríamos sin ninguna duda. Dulshan y Dilu son encantadores, súper atentos y te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Probamos sus dos tipos de habitación: la que está dentro de la casa, subiendo las escaleras, y la habitación independiente que está en el jardín. Las dos estaban perfectamente limpias, eran cómodas y estaban muy cuidadas, aunque personalmente nos gustó todavía más la del jardín por la tranquilidad y privacidad. Y mención especial al desayuno: probablemente el mejor desayuno que hemos tomado en todos los alojamientos de nuestro viaje por Sri Lanka. Muy completo, preparado con muchísimo cariño y delicioso. La villa es preciosa, tranquila y está muy cuidada. Para nosotros fue un comienzo perfecto para el viaje y también el lugar ideal al que volver antes de regresar a casa. Villa Dominikku gave us an unforgettable first welcome to Sri Lanka. The host was exceptionally kind, thoughtful and professional, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He even found our driver, Sanjeewa, whom we highly recommend and who went on to help us throughout our trip. The food was incredible, the room was spotless and comfortable, and every detail was handled with genuine care. We would come back without hesitation. Thank you for everything!

Dulshan & Dilu really took great care of us. Our flight landed in the middle of the night, but they still welcomed us just like any other guest. They also prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. The room was very spacious and modern — perfect for recovering after a long journey. The staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend! Next time, we'll definitely stay longer.

Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen! 😊 Der Inhaber ist super nett und hat für uns sowohl den Flughafentransfer als auch die Weiterfahrt nach Sigiriya organisiert. Der Fahrer waren ebenfalls sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und das Frühstück, das liebevoll von der Frau des Inhabers zubereitet wurde, war super lecker. 🥰 Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, aber mit einem Fahrer überhaupt kein Problem. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Camere pulitissime e dotate di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Piscina e giardino stupendi. Il valore aggiunto però lo danno i proprietari con la loro incredibile gentilezza, simpatia e con i loro consigli preziosi. Se torneremo in Sri Lanka, sarà il primo alloggio in cui soggiorneremo.

L alloggio è a dir poco stupendo e super confortevole. Villa moderna con tutti i confort. La gentilezza dei proprietari è strepitosa, ti fanno sentire a casa e sono molto premurosi. The owner, Dulshan and his wife were so welcoming and friendly. The villa is beautiful and perfect after a day of travelling. The breakfast was fantastic and plenty of it too. The room is extremely comfortable and super clean, bed and pillows were amazing. Dulshan even organised a driver to take us to Sigiriya, which was very helpful and the driver was great. Highly recommend.

Location assolutamente approvata! Tutto curato nel dettaglio e molto pulito! Arrivando da fuori non gli si dà una lira ma entrando sembra di stare in un piccolo paradiso! Che dire loro assolutamente carini e super ospitali! Abbiamo trascorso solo poche ora ma ci hanno accolto come parte della loro famiglia! Anche la colazione buonissima e super abbondante!

Onze eerste nacht na een lange vlucht. Bij aankomst was het nog mooier dan de foto’s. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en voelde ons meteen thuis. De kamer was ontzettend schoon en het ontbijt was heerlijk! Helaas moesten we de ochtend erna al weer weg, we zouden zeker langer willen blijven!

We only stayed 1 night on arrival in Sri Lanka and were given a very warm welcome by lovely and super helpful hosts. Everything was very clearly explained, the property is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The rooms are comfortable and provided with everything you could need, and the breakfast was huge! Dulsham and his wife were amazing hosts. They were very nice and hospitalary. They have made us feel at home. The villa and the rooms are really nice and breakfast was delicious. Location is also great, you can reach the town very easily by tuktuk.

Een warm welkom is een understatement! Wat een mooi en aangenaam verblijf! Heerlijke kamers, zaaalig ontbijt, een gastheer en gastvrouw die je volledig in de watten leggen, met de tuktuk zo op Negombo beach. Oftewel de perfecte start of afsluiting van je vakantie. Een dikke aanrader.

Chose Villa Dominikku for our first night in Sri Lanka as we were wanting somewhere close to airport before travelling to Kandy the following day. Excellent choice - wonderful accommodation and hosts in a quiet location.

Tout a été parfait ! De l’accueil jusqu’à notre départ. De plus, nous sommes arrivés en pleine nuit à 3h du matin, cela n’a pas empêché d’être très bien accueilli, avec même un petit jus bien frais. Les hôtes sont très serviables. Les chambres sont extrêmement propres ! Nous voyageons depuis 10 mois et c’est certainement le logement le plus propre qu’on ai fait. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux. Varie chaque matin et surtout il est très copieux. En bref, je vous recommande cet hôtel, situé proche de l’aéroport en tuktuk ou en voiture.

Villa Dominikku is exceptional in every way. The entire property is absolutely beautiful with the most up-to-date facilities. Dulshan and his wife Dilu were amazing hosts during both my stays (May and June), organising everything for me from transport to/from the airport with perfect timing, recommending local attractions and points of interest. Breakfast daily was absolutely outstanding with fresh fruit and side dishes to start the day. I loved staying here so much and highly recommend it when staying over in lovely Negombo.

Fantastic homestay in Colombo with the kindest host ever! The room is tidy, cozy and well-equipped. Delicious local homemade breakfast. The host offered lots of useful local advice and was super responsive all the time. The bathroom is big and well designed. Dulshan greeted us as we are a part of the family. We had a lovely relaxing stay and highly recommend to all travelers. Will definitely come back next time I visit Sri Lanka!

Vi har haft et helt fantastisk ophold hos Dulshan og Dilu. Vi fik den varmeste velkomst, villaen og stedet var så hyggeligt og hjertevarm. Værelset var meget gennemført og sengen rigtig god. Vi blev virkelig overraskede over det hele - ALT var gemmentænkt og værterne utrolig søde! Vi havde kun planlagt én nat og kunne godt være blevet i længere tid. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage og har allerede planlagt en nat inden vi rejser hjem til Danmark. Jeg vil anbefale stedet til alle familier, venner og par som rejser til Sri Lanka :)

Beautifully set up and well maintained property in the suburban area of Negombo. Hosts were lovely, the room comfortable (firm bed) with a good en suite delicious and generous breakfast and it was a quick drive from the airport. Dulshan was super accommodating after we mistakenly booked the wrong dates and was very helpful in arranging a driver, both from the airport and to our next location.

We chose Villa Dominikku based on the location and amazing reviews after landing into Colombo late at night and honestly, the property did not disappoint! Dulshan is the most incredible host, he organised private airport transfers for us and was up and waiting to meet us with cold towels and welcome drinks despite our late arrival. He was also super helpful answering all my questions ahead of the trip. The room was spotless and very comfortable for our stay, and breakfast the next morning was absolutely incredible. Every detail is so thought out, you feel completely welcome and at home.

After a seamless airport pickup, we arrived at the beautiful villa located in a quiet laneway. Friendly hosts (Dulshan & Dilu) made us feel very welcome and gave us some helpful tips to set us up for a great holiday. Yummy breakfast - with a mix of continental and local dishes.

However, I have to commend them for willingly preparing us a delicious breakfast to take away. Since there was no room for the sober man in the empty hotel, we booked him into another hotel, which cost 1/4 the price and was incomparably better, and the owners were genuinely kind and helpful. There is construction work going on in the yard, which we didn't know about, so the surroundings were actually empty, because there were plastic sheets stretched out right in front of the room and there were probably various machines there...

The night before departure we chose a slightly more expensive accommodation because we expected better service, also considering the reviews the accommodation had. However, we had a bad experience. There were about 3 hours between booking the room and our arrival, but considering that Sri Lanka is currently experiencing a minimum of tourists due to the war in the Arabian Peninsula, most accommodation, restaurants and tourist destinations were mostly empty. We were probably alone in this accommodation. The monsoon had started, we had travelled 5.5 hours and we had a short night ahead of us because we had an early morning flight the next day. We asked for accommodation for dinner, but they kindly wrote to us that they did not have a kitchen for that, although upon arrival we found out that since the hosts live there, there was a relatively large and fully equipped kitchen. We were a bit surprised because it had never been a problem before, we were very tired and it had been raining heavily all night. They recommended us to order food... . Upon arrival, the owner tried to be nice, but it seemed insincere to us, especially when we went to the room and we needed to go over some things with our guide, pay him... we wanted him to go to the room with us for another 10 minutes. The owner suddenly stopped being nice and started arguing with our guide in their language. He wouldn't let us go with him, saying it was against some of their rules and forced us to stay in the dining room where we had no privacy. When we got to the room, there was a certain smell in it, which unfortunately made our things smell too. It wasn't like the picture. For example, we didn't know that the walls in the toilet and bathroom didn't reach the ceiling, but were open, which meant that if you flushed the toilet at night, you woke everyone up. So unfortunately, although the owner wanted to be nice, he went a bit overboard and was insincere.

Villa Dominikku was on a completely different level, such a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and a truly warm family atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and cared for. The room was honestly one of the most beautiful and comfortable we’ve ever stayed in, and the whole home is absolutely stunning with so much attention to detail. Everything felt peaceful, stylish, and special. The owner and his wife are such genuinely kind and friendly people and made the stay even more unforgettable🤍

11/10 – Absolute Ausnahme! Nach mittlerweile 10 Unterkünften auf unserer Reise können wir ganz klar sagen: Dieser Gastgeber war mit großem Abstand der gastfreundlichste, den wir je erlebt haben. Wirklich außergewöhnlich nett, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, so eine Herzlichkeit ist uns bisher noch nie begegnet. Auch die Zimmer waren wirklich toll, sehr angenehm, gut ausgestattet und insgesamt einfach ein Ort, an dem man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Der Rest war ebenfalls durchweg super und hat perfekt gepasst. Wir waren auf dem Heimweg sogar ein zweites Mal dort, da es sich ideal für den Transfer zum Flughafen angeboten hat und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es hat sich nach der Reise durch Sri Lanka tatsächlich ein bisschen wie nach Hause kommen angefühlt. Zukünftige Gäste können sich außerdem auf einen Pool freuen, der wurde bei unserer Abreise gerade angefangen zu bauen.

Villa Dominikku was a wonderful accommodation for my family during our first night in Sri Lanka. It is well located close to the airport, which made all the difference for us having landed late at night. Despite our late check in, Dulshan and Dilu stayed up to welcome us into the home and get us settled in. Their exceptional hospitality during our stay made us feel welcome. The villa was tastefully decorated and rooms were clean, comfortable. Home made breakfast was delicious as well. Will definitely recommend this place!

Очень просторный, удобный и продуманный номер. У нас была отдельная пристройка-бунгало, чувствовали себя великолепно. Утром по лужайке бегают белочки. Завтрак подается в вилле на 1 этаже, там же можно брать чистую воду для питья из-под фильтра. Каждый день разный завтрак из национальной кухни. Все очень вкусно. Хозяева отеля продумали всё до мелочей для удобства и комфорта туристов. Они невероятно доброжелательные и готовые помочь во всем. Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft in Sri Lanka, vor allem wegen des Gastgebers. So eine Gastfreundschaft erlebt man wirklich selten. Er hat sich extrem viel Zeit für uns genommen, uns bei der Reiseplanung geholfen und viele wertvolle Tipps gegeben, die unseren Aufenthalt deutlich besser gemacht haben. Besonders hilfreich war auch, dass er uns einen Fahrer organisiert hat, das hat alles super unkompliziert funktioniert und der Fahrer war zuverlässig, freundlich und kannte sich bestens aus. Dadurch konnten wir das Land viel entspannter erkunden. Die Unterkunft selbst war ebenfalls sehr angenehm, sauber und ein schöner Ort zum Ankommen und Abschalten. Aber was wirklich heraussticht, ist die persönliche Betreuung, man fühlt sich einfach gut aufgehoben. Klare Empfehlung, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We only stayed a night here as a place to sleep after a late arrival from Australia. Dulshan waited up for our arrival and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast the next day was delicious. Dulshan also kindly offered to help if we needed assistance with anything else during our trip.

We stayed at Villa Dominikku at the beginning of our three week holiday, and ended our stay back here. We had a late flight home so didn't stay the night. However it was great to be back to relax & shower before our flight. Dulshan and Dilu’s hospitality is 10 / 10 ☺️ and you always feel at home. Big tip, Dulshan's driver, picked us up from Ahangama, and I can say one of the safest drivers we've come across. I totally recommend using him if you stay at Villa Dominikku.

Dulshan and his wife greeted us so warmly, helping us enjoy our final night in beautiful Sri Lanka. The Villa is absolutely stunning, in fabulous grounds - all lovingly cared for by the owner. So comfortable and luxurious. Just 15 minute taxi journey to the Airport. Perfect location. Dulshan also recommended local restaurants by the beach to enjoy the sunset.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. Unfortunately, we left at 3:30am for our flight, so didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy the breakfast.

Unsere erste Unterkunft für eine Nacht in Negombo war einfach perfekt. Dulshan war unglaublich freundlich und hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Er hat uns alles Wichtige erklärt und uns mit hilfreichen Informationen versorgt. Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders schön war auch das Frühstück, das von seiner Frau mit viel Herzlichkeit zubereitet wurde. Man merkt einfach, wie viel Liebe darin steckt. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!
