Didn’t get the bed type we requested, no elevator to get suitcases up or down stairs. Outside seating pretty but infested with wasps. Doors difficult to lock/unlock and shower not easy to use.

The location was quite inconvenient, as the hotel was either best reached by taxi or required walking up a very steep incline. The room was very small and had a strong acidic, lemony smell from the cleaning products, which remained throughout our stay. The duvet had no cover and had some strange brown marks, which made us hesitant to use it. There was also no toilet paper in the room, and since the reception was only staffed until 15:00, we had no way to ask for it later, which was very inconvenient. The breakfast offered no choice, they simply brought a set selection to the table. Although the staff were pleasant, the fact that no one was available after 15:00 made the stay considerably less comfortable.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Não há porta no banheiro. Ducha estava avariada não regulava altura tinha que baixar para lavar a cabeça. Não fomos cordialmente atendidos. Não trocavam as toalhas se não fosse pedido, não faziam limpeza se não fosse pedido, nem o lixo do banheiro retiravam. No último dia o cafe da manhã não foi nem metade dos outros dias só porque era o último dia. Enfim, no final o que conta é a localização não é mesmo ?!

Todo muy rico y lo necesario para poder comenzar un día de largas caminatas recorriendo Roma; la atención de John fue extraordinaria! Siempre atento y asegurando que tuvieramos una estancia perfecta, se merece mención especial, el resto del staff mucho muy bien también, todos muy atentos, felicidades por esa dedicación que lo hace sentir a uno como en casa. La ubicación del hotel es excelente! De ahí se puede llegar con mucha facilidad a los principales puntos turisticos de Roma. Un hotel comodo donde se puede descansar muy bien! Por seguro regresaremos a Parrasio en un siguiente viaje a Roma. Altamente recomendable
Que no aceptan tarjetas american express, de ahí en fuera nada más que agregar.

Quarto duplo muito pequeno e com cheiro de mofo. Não achei a acomodação muito limpa também. Achei a diária bem cara para o que oferece. Acabei não reclamando do quarto e pedindo para fazer uma troca pois era somente um dia e também, por estar em outro país, tenho realmente receio de reclamar.

Very secure property with 3 main doors to get through before entering the property 3 minute walk to train station & close to buses for Airport access. Best accomodation we had in Italy by far.

Reviewed May 25, 2026The staff were truly wonderful, always eager to accommodate and easily the best part of our stay! In particular the service during breakfast was excellent and felt like a 5 star experience. It was clear that the staff genuinely enjoy working together from their friendly banter with each other which created a pleasant atmosphere. The location was also perfect for accessing the city by foot, while not being in the heart of busy tourist areas. Returning to the hotel each day was a respite from the heat and crowds of the city centre.
The size of the room wasn't so much an issue as the lack of storage options and small details that would have DRAMATICALLY improved the space. No hooks to be found for coats or towels which meant that our wet towels had to be draped over our luggage or the furniture. There was almost no storage and should be replaced with a chest of drawers to offer guests the ability to hide away a few items since there is not enough floor space to store your luggage, much less be constantly digging through your luggage to get a change of clothes. Lastly the housekeeping was standard, but with a space this small and for guests staying multiple days the floor should really be swept daily.

Reviewed May 23, 2026Nestled above and a short stroll from bustling Trastevere sits Hotel Parrasio. An old villa, with I’m sure a great history, now converted to a unique hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. Whether you are young and in party mode or old funky boomers like us, you’re sure to like this hotel. Great staff, lovely courtyard, good breakfasts and Aperol Spritzs (with snacks) make your stay memorable. We were assured by host Antonio that no events were planned so our stay and sleep was not ruined by DJ sets and late night partying. We enjoyed our time there and I’m sure so did the staff when they realised we were not party poopers and were hip to the groove of Hotel Parrasio, where you can stay but sadly must leave.
A bit shabby chic but that’s part of its charm. The photographer they used for the property photos exceeded its reality but that’s expected these days.

Reviewed May 12, 2026La posizione davvero ottima e anche lo staff presente alla mattina super gentile e accogliente. L'estetica in generale dell'hotel molto molto bene e anche la dimensione della camera per me era perfetta.
Non mi è piaciuta la colazione che ho trovato molto striminzita e con pochissima scelta. Un'altra cosa che non mi è piaciuta è che la prima sera c'era una festa con dj set sotto la finestra della mia camere che è durata fino a mezzanotte e questo non ci ha permesso di risposare e considerando che ci eravamo svegliate alle 5.00 del mattino non è stata una sorpresa gradita. Avrei preferito saperlo e potermi organizzare magari riposando prima di cena e stando fuori di più. Il rapporto qualità prezzo secondo me non è corretto, il prezzo è troppo alto per un servizio non soddisfacente al 100%.

We had a really nice room but the bath is very slippy and could really do with a non slip bath mat, not just for older people - it's a safety hazard.

Nous n'avons pas apprécié les chambres, ni la qualité des nuits. La literie n'est pas confortable, il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude et l'hotel n'est pas insonorisé. Le personnel n'était pas désagréable mais nous avions l'impression d'être dans une auberge premium plutôt que dans un 3 étoiles à 200e la nuit, il n'y avait pas particulièrement de soin apporté aux échanges. Le petit déjeuner le matin était un faux buffet ou vous pensez pouvoir vous servir mais vous n'avez enfait pas le droit, et on vous apporte des choses que...vous n'aimez pas/n'auriez pas commandé. Nous avons fait 2 nuits sur les 4 réservées, et sommes parties car le manque de sommeil a déclenché une très grosse migraine à ma mère. A ce jour je n'ai pas encore été remboursée des taxes de séjour des 2 restantes. Nous avons été très déçues par cet hotel. Il n'est pas du tout à la hauteur d'un 3 étoiles à 200e la nuit. Il mérite un gros coup de travaux, d'insonorisation, modernisation des chambres, changer la formule du petit dej pour tenter de l'atteindre. Mais si vous avez le sommeil lourd, ou que vous venez avec vos boules quies...pourquoi pas. Le seul point positif est l'emplacement.

En la habitación la cama aunque cómoda sonaba demasiado, el agua caliente en la ducha no funcionaba bien así que pasamos algo de frío, y en la noche había algo que sonó tooooda la noche que no me permitió dormir bien creo que un extractor o algo así.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Great stay in a perfect location in Trastevere. The hotel is in a brilliant spot right in Trastevere, which made it ideal for exploring Rome. There are loads of restaurants, bars and places to walk nearby, and it was easy to get to the main sights as well. A special mention for the girl who worked on reception and also served breakfast. She was really welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel really looked after. The breakfast itself was excellent, easily the best hotel breakfast we’ve had, and the scrambled eggs were genuinely the best I’ve ever had. A lovely place to stay and we’d definitely come back.
